ron silver a liberal? saw him on fox news, and sounded very much like a conservative, the few times he was on. listen my t.v. is tuned to fox all day and night. very articulate and brave, especially being from hollywood.hoping fox would hire him as acommentator,very sad to hear ron was sick awile ago,and recently died of cancer.i hope john voit will not have the same liberal treatment of being shuned in hollywood, shows how shallow minded these so called celebs can be.

Agreed, Mr. Breitbart is a class act. Hopefully the “so called” president of this Great Country will be seeing some changes that he’ll believe in and that our Founding Fathers would be proud of.

Yes. I too salute Mr. Silver. He was one of the few liberals who in the light of 9/11 had the courage to see the evil and fallacy of his liberal bent and realize that the defense of our great country demands a robust, strong and conservative direction.

Never heard of Ron Silver but if Breitbart backs him that’s a good start for me.

Ron Silver was an excellent actor. This type of liberalism was the type that originated the word in the 1920s, more closer to Anarchism in 1920s France but similar to todays Libertarianism

Ron’s treatment in Hollywood sounds like a case of Bush-Derangement Syndrome. It makes people a**holes. And Ron was a liberal! geesh, can you imagine how they treat conservatives? I am saddened by the death of ron Silver and more sad that I did not know about it until today.
It is sad to see how many people would post hate regarding Ron Silver and some even anti Semitism.

Ron Silver, a tremendous actor, humanitarian, a supporter of Israel and a Patriot.

I met Ron Silver many years ago while I was a struggling director. I also am a former Democrat who left the party or should i say. they left us. My belated ‘prayers go out to his family

Ron Silver was a pretty good actor. He paid for his common sense beliefs professionally and was often relegated to lesser roles or denied work. He never complained, though he was a mental giant compared to the brain trusts on the left who infest Hollywood these days. He was taken too young and will be missed by those who appreciated what he gave to the craft of acting. After he passed this year, I took out a bunch of his films, even some of the ones wherein he played the villain or had a lesser role. He was the highlight of every effort. Godspeed Ron–Godspeed.
