First, I'd be interested in Ms Sherrod's thoughts, reflections etc that made her conclude that this white farmer was trying to "establish his dominance." Are her conclusions substantive or are they a result of her racial filters of her life experiences etc etc that have resulted in her own biases. Progressives use the "race card" like the schoolyard street bully or the school hall monitor but much to their dismay, we're hitting back. Morevoer, Shirley Sherrod was involved in a billion dollar case against the federal government in a class action by black "farmers" in which there were curiously more black "farmer" claimants than there were actual black farmers. Sherrod's group was the largest single beneficiary. Speculation is that she also received her USDA job as a condition of the settlement of her portion. Blacks were signed up by the many thousands for $50,000 cash benefits + other substantial compensations. The case is still being quickly settled by the Obama administration. The point missed with Sherrod is that she "knew what he was doing." This is a crucial point, and it connects to the "racial profiling" argument against SB1070.
