‘Break the Taboo’: British Group Pushes Condoms in Climate Change Fight

AP: Giving contraceptives to people in developing countries could help fight climate change by slowing population growth, experts said Friday.

More than 200 million women worldwide want contraceptives, but don't have access to them, according to an editorial published in the British medical journal, Lancet. That results in 76 million unintended pregnancies every year.

The Muslims will be thrilled that the Christians will continue to reduce their birthrate.

Most European conutries are already on target to become Muslim nations by mid century.

Nuclear war would be another EXCELLENT way to control climate change via population control. Let’s start that soon…before the sea levels rise even more. Middle East? Asia? Oh my, decisions, decisions.

gert   September 18th, 2009 - 5:11 pm

The only people there are too many of are the Population Control advocates.

Justine   September 18th, 2009 - 5:59 pm

We can only hope this man hasn’t reproduced.

Don’t mess with nature. At any point of time something could happen to wipe out 99.9% of the people on this planet. We just might need the people this man wishes to eliminate.

I think these population control people are arrogant, control freaks.

Right, just reduce us to nothing. That’ll help. These “scientists” keep telling us that the earth is billions and billions of years old. My point? If it’s really that old, then it’s been taking care of itself for that long, and doesn’t need us now! We just have to be good stewards of what we’ve got rather than acting as if we’re all that standing between the earth and the end of the earth, because–hello!–we’re not.

That is what this phony swine flu scare is about – some of the shots are for sterilization.

Limit the number of Mexicans coming to the US. The Mexican will breed until they are starving. The population control works well in Mexico but when they come to a wealthier nation like the US they have more children. Funny how this group won’t say that – because these elites are also wanting to push open borders!

American Dude   September 18th, 2009 - 8:44 pm

Sir. why don’t you start by aborting yourself.

They what to kill us to save the earth. How did these people get where they are?
He’s insane and to things, people like this running around loose and they have influence.
GOD help up.

Jimmy Crickets… Talk about paranoia… While I am unsure if we should bother with worrying about helping other countries control their birth rates, I am fairly certain that:

1. The person speaking on birth rate reduction believes it will reduce human suffering due to overcrowding.
2. The Muslims while they may continue to breed out of control are not a valid reason to not help people have access to family planning services. Yes maybe they will become the majority someday… Maybe they will chill out like the ones in Canada who seem friendly and not frightening. (maybe not)
3. I do not think that the swine flu vaccine is an undercover sterilization program. Why bother with undercover when if you offered it for free millions would get it.
4. Yes.. The Mexicans will have their anchor babies… But given education, and access to contraceptives I am betting not all their offspring will follow in their mothers footsteps.
5. Humanity is more vulnerable to plagues and events that could wipe us all out with more people, NOT Less vulnerable. There is a greater chance for continuity of infection between all major population groups if there is a higher number of people…. But honestly if humanity wants to survive it should take to the stars, because if we stay in any one place long enough, our extinction is assured.
6. As for population control advocates, I agree they are scary people, however, their points are often justified. I think voluntary control such as we have in the USA is working great… I think we are almost perfectly stable except for immigration (legal and illegal) And japan… well they went a little overboard… As for China, I think they are an example of what not to do…. but They are kicking our arse in the economic realm… They also own most of the worlds gold.
7. Nuclear war is really not a good method of population control. The bombs look pretty from safe distance, but they waste resources in the locations bombed and cause a nasty bit of fallout… (Neutron bombs have way too small of a kill radius to be used effectively, and they would cause significant damage… don’t believe the propaganda that they only kill the humans and leave infrastructure intact.)

Anyhow… All chillax… For right now all’s I saw proposed was programs that help people who want family planning services, to get family planning services. I am fairly certain he isn’t planning genocide on the humans.

Steve-o, The Magnificent   September 19th, 2009 - 5:27 am

Wow….I’m stunned….I don’t even know where to start. I’m literally sick to my stomach. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS PLANET?!?! Have we all COMPLETELY lost our minds?!?

Profit – Jimmy Crickets….Chillax….really? Grow up just a little bit. The adults would like to have an actual discussion here. Let me ask you (and the moron pushing this “theory” – how many children are in your family? Which number are you? I come from a family of 5 and am the youngest. Should I not have been born? You?…..hmmm……

When did we kill God and take His job? We’re not talking numbers and statistics – we’re talking human life! People. Like you. I don’t think I’ve EVER heard of a more fascistic, sterile agenda than this.

NOT TO MENTION the real issue here – GLOBAL WARMING IS A PROFIT DRIVEN HOAX!!!!! (just take a look a the $MILLIONS that good ol’ Al Gore has gathered hawking this false-hood) You don’t have to be a genius, or a scholar, or AL FREAKING GORE to know that!!! Just go outside! We’ve just come through the mildest summer in DECADES!!!! The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center has found that 2009 summer temperatures were far below normal; in fact, the NCDC goes so far as to rank 2009’s summer as the 34th coolest on record since 1895. Look it up. That’s why they’ve dropped the ‘Global Warming’ moniker and traded it in for the easier hidden behind ‘Global Climate Change’ title. Just say that. Think about it. CHANGE is what weather DOES!!!!!!!!!!! It’s been said time and time again, the ONLY thing constant is change! Are we seriously this egocentric? To assume that we CONTROL THE FREAKING WEATHER?!?!

Well….I guess if we’re playing God to the extent that we can selectively MANDATE who has children/how many/which souls can’t come to earth….I guess if we have that power, than controlling weather is child’s play.

I weep for this Nation. For the powerful, moral, stabile compass we ONCE were to the rest of the world. Not through force, but through example. THIS is the place that people gave up everything to come and have a glimpse at. Risked their lives and every earthly possession they had to come be a part of… This slide down is NOT the fault of the current administration alone – it started about 100 years ago and drip by drip we’ve morphed into a place I no longer recognize. I feel I have to apologize to my children (and I’ll have as many as GOD WILL ALLOW!!!) that I’m leaving it so much worse off than I inherited. We’re going the wrong way. It’s pathetic. . . .

Robespierre   September 19th, 2009 - 4:58 pm

Phil Bickel is correct!

effenmontero   September 22nd, 2009 - 1:26 pm

to Steve-o . . . AMEN . . . you nailed it and hopefully the coffin shut on those asshats who believe we can actually change the climate.

Wake up and smell the crack, people, this guy is just another numbnut who thinks with that pea-size brain. He’s too stupid to be in public or on ANY public media outlet.

BTW . . . Al GORE is WHORE . . . any wonder why this statement rhymes ?

David Guerra   September 26th, 2009 - 12:28 am

The grandsons of practicing muslims will not be muslims (since what has happened to christianity during the last century will also happen to islam) & the grandsons of europeans may well not be living in Europe. But they will all be on the same sinking boat. We have happily bred billions of people who, besides the dire environmental consequences of our economic growth, will be facing an increased scarcity of resources. The planet is not infinite anymore.
