By the way, you know why Boehner, Cantor, McConnell, Kyl, et al. never implore conservatives to come into the Party as voting members of it? Because they like the status quo. The status quo ensures their victory in the next primary election. If more, true conservatives came into the Party back home, then they might face a “better” conservative in their primary election and get (gulp!) replaced. What I am not fine with is the government and our so called elected officials dictating to me what is good for me and what my thoughts should be. I don’t want the government telling me what to do or think, I’m an intelligent and informed American and want what our forefathers wanted. Freed of Speech and Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. What will make me happy is having the government stay out of my pocket when it comes to running my life. I’m the one that knows how to do that, I learn from my own mistakes and pay for it. Unlike our government who makes mistakes Ex: Acorn, Medicare, Social Security they need to learn from their mistakes when it comes to running things and keep Health care private and not government run.

Here is a real opportunity for the GOP to come up with a better plan and form a united front behind their new candidate for 2012. No one is going to hand them the majority in the Congress nor the Presidency. Having poorly vetted choices like McCain/Palin cost the the GOP the 2008 election and put Obama in office. The same thing will happen in 2012 unless you get focused behind a viable candidate with goals to restore the country the way it was before Buckwheat got elected.
