Look we have impossible rules of engagement. We don’t let them do what they have trained to do – blow things up and kill people. The Iraq mission is essentially completed, the troops need to come home. Afghanistan can be done in 6 months, if we let the troops do what we sent them there for.

First of all, Donkeyface Maher is a meager part of the ‘30% of the people in our country that ARE crazy’, so what would you expect him to say?? But, since he’s talking about how ‘we’ treat our troops so poorly, with pay and benefits and medical and the rest……………who makes the rules and does the funding on these issues?? And who ALWAYS cuts up the defense budget first?? And who is always talking down about our military? And also, is anyone getting drafted these days???
I was that age back during the Vietnam era…….Democrats were in total power…..and sending hundreds of thousands of draftees off to war…I’m sure CandyAss Maher was figuring out a way to get out of it, if he’s that age.

Okay I am not a fan of Maher what so ever. I have great respect for the commitment of our troops as I did not have the guts to enlist and serve. Thank you to all. Unlike “unconditional surrender” of japan, we do not really have a specific goal of this war except kill Al Qaeda. Our VA certainly does not do our troops justice with the care they deserve. I hate to cite President Clinton but why couldn’t with our technology have a combination of an air war, drones, and secret operations. We have troops all over the world and I wonder if we really need to be there. Bring many home and put them on our borders, both mexico and canadian and protect us here. We spend 800 billion on defense and we had to go through a controversy of whether our troops had sufficient body armor. So getting beyond the idiot messenger, is he completely wrong?

This is exactly what to expect from the Left. While entertainers like Bob Hope went to the lines to amuse and entertain, this guy snarks safely far distant from, but protected by the very ones he despises. For years we have watched the left spit on those who are willing to extend their protection to all for small pay and hardship. After Vietnam they spit on them, stomped on them, made movies that portrayed them as psychos and worse, laughted at them and lied about them. When disasters strike, like the tsunami or Haiti or NOLA, is Maher handing out water, comforting the dying or the lost or lifting spirits?

As a former Navy medic, I can see that Maher has no concept of what Honor or Patriotism means, what words like Valor or Duty really encompass or what Courage and Fidelity entail.

He is completely negative.

I for one am thankful to Bill… he was the one who convinced me that I was wasting my money on HBO.

One could always do more for the troops. Perhaps he and his liberal show biz friends should get together and suggest to their liberal buddies in control in Congress that they provide more funds for the troops. But,the first people to whine about the cost of the military are the liberals.

You can shut the left up by asking them one question: Who do you know personally in the Military right now? Give me a name, rank and where they are stationed currently. You will, more often then not hear crickets and an awkward silence. Liberals do not serve in the military for the most part, nor do any of their family members. Support is more than words, it is giving your life blood for love of country. The left hates America, why would they fight for her?

What did we expect from a liberal who lives only for his oral interactions with elongated externalized uncircumcised donkey organs?
