We are Americans with a Constitution to uphold and defend as citizens who do love freedom in our Republic..we have more than one vote that counts.

My thought is we need a reform on taxes. The federal government receives more funds than it needs for its Constitutional limited jurisdiction and then “gives” or refunds the funds to states that do not receive the funds it needs to operate efficiently. The problem is this arrangement holds our states hostage because the federal government is stealing sovereignty with those funds that should have been paid to the states in the first place.
I think no foreign aid should be authorized until we pay our debts, have homes for homeless citizens, have control of our own country best interests.
What is this about when they are more concerned about calling concerned citizens quasi-terrorist and willfully inserting a barrier between Americans and our returning heroes? Why no concern about Mafias who traffick in human beings,drugs, porno of children and anything else harmful and humiliating to humanity?
Why doesn’t the FDA have the funds to actually perform tests to find out how the manufacturers of drugs and medications are telling truth or just selling their products regardless of the harms they pose? Trusting those manufacturers is like trusting a used car salesman.
Look at the record…aspartame is approved….MSG is approved and both are very harmful along with a whole list of additives we can not even pronounce.

The federal government confiscates lands from states then places United Nations plaques at National Parks and such. Our sovereignty as a nation of citizens is not theirs to bargain nor to relinquish. Each agreement bargaining our sovereignty as a country of citizens is null and void as they stand.. for one these lands belong to the states. The Constitution authorizes the federal government to build bases and closely related buildings to maintain order within its’ limited jurisdiction. The federal government quite possibly should be taxed by the states for lands and any waterways it would like to control if that is even constitutionally correct.

I don’t have a political party anymore because I want to see 20/20 without the dogma or horse and pony shows.

I think the “conspiracy” here is the liberals attempt to flood the US with illegal immigrant “voters” who will vote liberal in order to get amnesties and access to monied benefits which the “vast, right-wing” is working hard to provide. After 8 years of Clinton and 8 years of Bush, I’m starting to realize that both parties are completely out of touch with the American people. Clinton (aside from his scandals) was more fiscally conservative from 1995 until 2000 since he was pretty much forced to work with Newt Gingerich and the Republicans, but Clinton has to stop whining and he has to stop speaking for the American people. He claims in this video that the people realize how bad the Republicans were with them controlling both the White House and Congress– this is just the typical partisan stuff that we hear from the mouths of members of both parties. The Republicans have been in power in Congress until 2006. I don’t think the Republicans would have lost so badly in 2006 if it wasn’t for Bush and Iraq. The Democrats played politics with the lives of our American soldiers by promising to end the Iraq War so why did we give them a second chance in 2008? and why are we still in Iraq? I thought Obama and the Democrats promised to send those in Iraq to Afghanistan! The American people are sick and tired of the partisan politics and back and forth rhetoric between the Democrats and Republicans. This country is obviously still center right (it doesn’t matter what Obama says). If the country wasn’t center-right, WE THE PEOPLE wouldn’t be taking to the streets at these tea parties fighting for our Constitution. I can’t wait until the day Americans will finally wake up and start voting third party or independent. This would send a strong message to progressives in BOTH parties that we will not take it any more. It seems to me that Americans wanted the days of Reagan Conservatism back but I don’t see the Republicans doing much to help things either.

Yes, that is all true, but that had a lot to do with the fact that the Republicans led by Newt Gingerich took the House back in 1994 forcing Clinton to work with the House Republicans on the economy and taxes. However, I do believe that Clinton was more fiscally conservative than Bush.

I do agree with you that Bush left a mess for Obama and Clinton did leave a surplus. Bush de-regulated things that should have been regulated– the banks, but Clinton was a big party of the housing crash by allowing ACORN to pressure him to expand low income housing.

We haven’t had a REAL conservative president since Reagan. I was born in 1986 but I know enough about Reagan to know that he was the BEST president we have had probably in the entire 20th century. He’s definitely top 5 on my list! I don’t know too much about HW Bush since I was really young. What happened with him? How did he change so much after being part of the Reagan administration?

What about ramming through the stimulus bill which most Americans didn’t want? I never fully supported Bush and I don’t agree with Obama either, but I never saw Bush ram bills through like this. Bush didn’t try and change the entire health care system. Bush had czars too, but Bush didn’t put a communist as his “green jobs czar” either. Also, Obama wants to reissue the PATRIOT Act. Personally, I’m against it. Taking away our rights and freedoms is exactly what bin Laden wants. Why haven’t we built the Freedom Towers yet?!!!!! Eight years later and their still not done! We should build one tower twice as high with a huge sign that says TRY IT AGAIN SUCKERS!!!!

Both Bush and Obama are bad for this country. First of all, I can’t take Bush seriously about national security when he doesn’t do a thing about the border. Bush is the one that started the slide into socialism. I think Clinton post-1994 was better than both Bush and Obama although I disagreed with a lot of things that Clinton did. it’s this sort of comments that I get angry at and to be honest, a little insulted. When I disagree with a president, I don’t look at the color of their skin.BUsh didn’t get a pass. The “End the Fed” rallies started in November 2008 and liberals, conservatives, and libertarians attended them. Cindy Sheehan spoke at the one in San Francisco and she attacked Obama too. These events, including the tea parties and the 9/12 rally attacked Washington in general, not any one party. Many of these people don’t like Bush or Obama. A few Republicans in Congress did stand up against Bush. Ron Paul did on a lot of policies and Tom Tancredo of Colorado did on the border issue. You should stop listening to the really partisan Democrats and start listening to people like Denis Kucinich, a left winger but he is the only one that seems to get it– that the American Eagle needs “two wings to fly.” and that a fusion of idea from both parties is needed as opposed to one party rule. this kind of bipartisanship and a return to constitutional principles is best thing for this country.

I wasn’t at the 9/12 rally or at any tea party, but i wish I was. I was watching Glenn Beck’s coverage of it and yes, there were a few people that can be considered racists because of there signs but the majority are simply concerned Americans. There were a few black people there too. Glenn Beck interviewed one. I have seen a few other black conservative activists fighting against Obama’s policies. What, are racist towards Obama too?

Where was Obama during that 9/12 rally? Instead making his case on health care to those who disagree with him or have concerns (to do this all he had to do was walk out of the White House), he went to minnesota in front of a friendly crowd and it reminded me of a campaign rally. Why doesn’t he go to Fox NEws and make his case where the majority of viewers don’t agree with him? Why is it that every time we disagree with Obama, we’re labelled as racists? If an African American disagreed with Bush or Clinton or any other white person, is he a racist? No! This is a America– I thought America was a country where you can voice your opinion without being attacked! I guess I was sadly mistaken! Obama did lie about illegal immigration and health care and he already broke quite a few campaign promises. I don’t think he’s communist but he did say to judge him by who he surrounds himself with and there are radicals around him. He is definitely socialist, not a communists (at least not YET!!)

Probably a Libertarian party or a Constitustionalist party. The other 2 have screwed this country up big time.”

Finally, someone that sees it my way! We definitely need more independents and a multi-party system but in order for that to work, we have to get rid of the electoral college and allow direct popular vote so simple majority rules. The Electoral College requires that “magic number” which doesn’t really allow more than 2 candidates and another party’s candidate can never win. Those access laws in each of states have to go too.
