Patients on Medicare are limited to how many medications they are allowed per month regardless of condition, Patients are put on long waiting lists if they can even find a doctor! Most Doctors now are ither opting out of treating Medicare patients all together or will not take on any new medicare patients because the gov does not pay up on the doctors costs to treat.
Obamas bill is basically 1 medical system for every american, and only one, it will be basically medicare. You think the lines and wait times are long now? Wait till 30% to 40% of Doctors and other medical professionals leave the profession. We already have a shortage as it is. what are now 6 month waiting times for those on medicare will jump to over a year to get any procedure. And Dont try to pay a doctor to get treatment as this will be illegal.

Hey, stupid? The government cannot run ANYTHING well. People cite the military, but the only reason our military is the best in the world is because PRIVATE COMPANIES design and build the weapon systems that our military deploys and our soldiers are motivated because they are free American citizens protecting what much blood and treasure has been spent to obtain. When the government runs things, you get garbage entities such as the DMV, the IRS, the USPS, etc. – none of which do anything useful and just suck money down an endless pit. The USPS cannot compete with private entities such as UPS or FEDEX. The DMV is a worthless tax collecting entity. The IRS is the equivalent of the gestappo. If you honestly think that a govenment entity, accountable to nobody, will be able to run the healthcare system better than it is now, then you sir, or madam, are stupid.

A doctor that makes a mistake should not be an automatic pay day for a team of lawyers and compensation for life. Again, you are going to die and suffer anyway. If there were no doctors to treat you, then what? What would you do then? You would suffer with your injury, health condition or die. I watched Canada’s health care quality fall further and further behind Americas during the years after my home country’s government took control of health care, as Joe Biden just claimed is in the works here. After 1970 Canadian medical research R+D had fallen by close to 80% adjusted for inflation. Doctors dropped out of the system in droves, nurse patient ratio just about doubled. Result, rationing became the norm. That my ignorant friend is exactly what will happen here. Mark, your absolute stupidity is astounding. America is the center of global medical scientific, technical, and procedural progress. After Obama-care this will without any doubt shift to indochina, a couple of central American countries wise enough to recognize the opportunity, India, and of course China. Doesn’t end there. Attitude of people will shift. Government intervention into everyone’s life will accelerate. Power will further concentrate amongst bean counters, elites, and politicians whose CYA needs will in many cases get in the way of quality of life issues for the public. What all of this blog don’t recognize yet is Reid and Pelosi have unleashed a “nuclear option” for major policy. One of the major checks on radial tyranny of the bare majority has been removed. This radical action will bring blowback. The pendulum swings as it did in 2006 and ‘08. Only this time polls point to a complete rout of Democrats this fall. They will lose the House, and likely the Senate.
Going past 2010 when Republicans take the House and Senate impeaching the President for his failure to uphold his oath to defend the constitution will be on the table. Afterwards with a Conservative replacing our Man Child in Chief, with just 51 votes in the Senate, undoing the entire Liberal/progressive agenda can go forward in a single bill just as Democrats did with Healthcare.
First, specific States can start this first right now, Federal law would follow: Weight voting right to personal responsibility. If a voter has paid Federal tax in past two years, his/er vote is counted twice. It this person owns a business that pays taxes as well, his/her vote is counted three times. This eliminates the issue of those with no skin in the game able to vote in an untested radical part-time lecturer into office {65% of Obama voters paid no Federal income, or social security tax net}. Amongst taxpaying Americans McCain won by about 63 to 37%. In 2012 such law would eliminate chance of a Democrat being elected as President, they would lose all but 19 Senate seats and be reduced to a noisy 120-140 member rump in the House.
Meanwhile a “Change You Can Really Believe In” bill can be passed along lines like these with just 51 Republicans in the Senate:

Federal involvement with public education changes: Vouchers for all US children. Fair and Balanced classroom instruction after grade 8, and in all universities receiving Federal funds, by eliminating tenure, women’s studies, ethnic studies, a conservative professor must accompany a liberal one in all programs outside math and science.
Hard part: Loosen immigration law for people wanting to immigrate to the US, and those who are already here: Grade 6 understanding of English, Grade 10 or more education, healthy, and no record of felony while on American soil. (We need lots of young people due to demographic issue of too many older people collecting Federal and State benefits.) Policy would concentrate on gutting out Europe of its young people.
Federal pension, and medical insurance practice and law to match the average policies in private sector.
English official language.
Sell off enough Federal land to eliminate accumulated debt.
Over ten years bring all troops home from bases around the world.
Eliminate the EPA, and an entire host of Federal bureaucracies.
Compulsory military service of two years of all American young persons pass age 18.
That’s what kind of blow back “tyranny of a bare majority” could trigger. It was Democrat 60’s radicals, and a punch drunk leader of the Senate that let his cat out of the bag. It all is fantasy, except of course the part about changing voting law. That my friends is quite consistent with the constitution. America was founded as a limited Republic, not a Democracy based on universal one person one vote. The founding fathers who wrote the constitution warned universal democracy leads to tyranny and should be avoided much as any despotic King. We are witnessing this in action today, and this flaw brought in by President Wilson must be addressed immediately. By the time the Supreme Court got around to hearing a case based on this change a new radicalized Conservative President will have appointed two or more of similar opinion. Afterwards, or Liberals, who make up about 20% of citizens in America, it would be over…

Noticed reading the CBO report on this bill. The reasons for deficit reduction are suspect at best. The doctor fix for example. However the worst part by far is Medicare cuts, $500 billion in the first ten years balloons to $2 trillion for the second. In other words the entire savings in on the backs of people who need care the most. Talk about a big Obama lie. Go to Washington tomorrow, come with camping gear. Stop that filthy place from working until the next election.
Nice of little Billy to take time out from his busy schedule of waiting at his mom’s mailbox for his welfare check and food stamps to go to the library to use a computer to send in his posts. His posts are pretty coherent for a kept little lap dog who believes that handouts are good and working and accumulating “wealth” is bad.
