Richard Reid tried to blow up American Airlines flight 63 on December 22, 2001. This was too soon after 9/11 for the Bush Administration to implement any of their post-9/11 laws or policies. It is totally preposterous for that dimwit Biden to compare the shoe bomber to the underwear bomber because the latter — smoking drawers and all — was apprehended while the battle lines were clearly drawn. Obama, in effect, is blurring these lines by awarding our mortal enemies with the rights and priveledges reserved for US citizens.
And what else proves Cheney right and Biden wrong?
1) Obama’s endless apology tours project weakness that inspires our enemies to rally against us. And such shameful weakness only makes them hate us more! The only thing these lunatics understand and respect is an uncompromising show of strength.
2) Obama’s policy of protecting our enemies feelings by massaging the language puts our lives in greater danger. His administration officially renamed the “Global War on Terror” as an “Overseas Contingency Operation”. And he continually poo-poos these blood-thirsty Islamo-fascist terrorists as being nothing more than “religious extremists”, “disgruntled youth” or “students”.
3) Obama is perhaps the only leader in the history of warfare who actually revealed to his enemies that he was going to both surge forward and retreat in the same announcement. That can’t do anything but hurt us. If I was a Talaban fighter, I would think that the POTUS was either an idiot or a secret operative working for Obama bin Biden…I mean Osama bin Laden.
4) And of course, intelligence is the life blood of any war effort. Obama’s decision to cut off the enhanced interrogations program is beyond belief. It seems everything he does is designed to assist our enemies and handcuff our own people.
We always hear oath takers promise that they will fight threats both foreign and domestic. Well, if Obama isn’t the dictionary definition of a domestic threat, then I don’t think the term has any meaning.
Pride comes before a fall.

David Gregory can’t hold a candle to the late Tim Russert. If Gregory had any credibility, he would’ve asked the obvious question regarding Biden’s statement to Larry King on CNN. Biden said Iraq “could be one of the great achievements of this administration.” That’s right! As the L.A. Times stated, “Who knew?” Indeed, who did? After all Obama and Biden knocked themselves out bashing the Bush and the surge. So now we are informed. Obama and Biden saved the day in Iraq!!! Look, people know Joe is a blowhard.
