I seem to recall some discussions/articles/stories about how ridiculous it was for Palin to continue with the pregnancy considering how many children she already had, her responsibilities to her job, her age, and also knowing that the child would have a disability.
It’s the right to choose, remember? She chose to keep her child…when you “choose”, generally you have more than 1 option…unless you go against what a liberal wants you to “choose”, then you’re a problem for them and they try to tear you down.

It was a statement that was too strong for the left, and Stewart, with nothing more to say, couldn’t handle it. The audience laughs because Stewart is a veteran stand up that knows how to play something to the audience. He’s very funny.
But there is no parody, there’s really no funny material in his “response”, it’s completely the delivery that they are laughing at. Goldberg, who a few years ago identified himself as “still a liberal” correctly identified that Stewart had nothing cogent to say, so he just expressed himself.

Child-mothers who were victims of rape and/or incest were unreported to the authorities, allowing for them to return to their life of abuse. The reason Stewart made such “witty” response is simple: Goldberg told an absolute and undeniable truth and Stewart knew it.

Goldberg said nothing about “conservatives”, he said “she” and “liberals”. Last thing I knew Goldberg did not identify himself as a “conservative” but a “still a liberal”.

A couple years ago, Dennis Miller was a moderate who had some agreements with the right. He was still largely for an amount of social spending–quite recently I heard a promo for the Miller show where he said he has “no use for government”. It’s not a lie. It would only be a lie if Eunice Kennedy birthed those invalid–and that there are compassionate people after the fact on the left still says nothing to Goldberg’s contention that the left does not have a MONOPOLY on compassion. Do you understand the word MONOPOLY.
See out here in educated society, we use words. And words mean certain things and not other things. Lying means that somebody has said something that was not true. If something illustrates that it is a lie, in excludes the other from being true. It doesn’t just serve as a counter to the argument you THINK Goldberg is making–because you feel that it is.
Saying that X does not have a monopoly on Y, means that Not all Y is X-based. The counter to that proposition is not Some X is Y, but All X is Y. So by serving up the incongruous example of Ms. Kennedy, does not show that All X is Y, just some X is Y.
A “not all” statement is the weakest categorical statement that can possibly be made. But you mistake that for pomposity! Have some knowledge. Have some analysis–but perhaps Mr. Soros only pays you to troll.
