USA Today: It was a malicious shove by any stretch but it wasn't a love tap either.

I’d like to see that shot from another angle. That cameraman could’ve taken a dive. What do you guys think?

To Woody:

I recall another Woody- Hayes!

15 yards for roughing !

Harry   November 16th, 2009 - 11:38 am

Cameraman could have tripped. Needs another camera angle. I think Belichick is a pompous a$$, and I don’t look to defend his bodyguard, but it just doesn’t look that bad to me. After the game, the cameramen and reporters get way too close for comfort, so this type of thing is not shocking… It can easily happen without malicious tendencies.

up by 6 points and 4th and 2, and you go
for it on your own 29 with minutes to play-
This proves you can be stupid and be an NFL coach

todd   November 16th, 2009 - 12:06 pm

Watch the camera wire / cable get very tight, I think it was more the wire snapping him back than being pushed down.

Airwick   November 16th, 2009 - 12:41 pm

J House,
I have got to admit that what he did was one of the stupidest things that I have ever seen in a professional football game. What was he thinking? His comment that, “I wanted to show the team (offensive) that I had faith in them”, is nonsense. What sort of “faith” did you show for your defensive squad, Bill? A successful punt would have required the Colts to go over 70 yards in about two minutes for a touchdown to win. Doesn’t show much confidence in your boys on “D”, does it?

Michelle   November 16th, 2009 - 12:44 pm

He’s a BODY GUARD – he did exacty what he’s paid to do.

danwhiteinaz   November 16th, 2009 - 12:46 pm

The guy appears to be a real Adam Henry.

von Graff   November 16th, 2009 - 1:11 pm

Wait a second ! Was that Joe The Plumber ?

MagicMan   November 16th, 2009 - 1:38 pm

There was a jerk/tug on the camera cable.

Perhaps the guy was just trying to tell the cameraman to come up for air???

Anyhow, should’ve been a flag on the play.

Kek   November 16th, 2009 - 1:41 pm

Typical. Patriots are sissy-girl cry-babies who deserve to have the cheater coach representing them. After Coach Cheater gave us the game as a result of his sheer stupidity and arrogance, I laugh my ass off until I started to cry. Laugh laugh laugh.

Boston sucks and its time they face it!!!

Other   November 16th, 2009 - 1:43 pm

I think he was pulled by the cable by the other bodyguard but not to hard. Looks like the cameraman got a bit dramatic.

RogerCfromSD   November 16th, 2009 - 1:56 pm

In every replay, it clearly shows the bodyguard pulling the camera itself down and caused the cameraman to fall.

kit   November 16th, 2009 - 2:00 pm

Look at the cameraman’s line! He was ran out of line!

Boi-yoing.

kmichaels   November 16th, 2009 - 2:48 pm

Apparently some viewers are too stupid to give an accurate comment. First off, several camera angles were shown. Secondly, it is clear that he was pulled down hard by the bodyguard jerking hard downward on the guys camera. He should be sued for assault, period.

kmichaels   November 16th, 2009 - 2:50 pm

Body guards are not paid to make illegal assaults on innocent people. Some of you viewers have serious mental issues.

CravingGod   November 16th, 2009 - 3:17 pm

The cable looked a little tight. I think that was the biggest factor. When people are pushed they usually dont go in the opposite direction of the push.

Debbie   November 16th, 2009 - 3:23 pm

The bodyguard just kept walking; it was the cameraman who tried to put his shoulder into the bodyguard and make his wishes a reality, but with the bodyguard moving on at such a brisk pace the cameraman took a dive all on his own. He should calculate a bit better when he’s so top-heavy with equipment.

Robyn   November 16th, 2009 - 3:26 pm

Really, it looks like the cameraman was pulled down by his own camera cable. The line goes taught just before he falls. It just seems to happen at the same time. It’s not like the guy pounded the camera man into the ground.

Will   November 16th, 2009 - 3:28 pm

Ok the cable was tight.
Ok the body guard gave the camera a little push.
Off setting penalties.
10 yards on the kick off.
Ps. be sure to supply lots of crying towels.

Other   November 16th, 2009 - 3:47 pm

So the camera was assaulted. No humans were harmed. Drama a-plenty.

kmichaels   November 16th, 2009 - 4:17 pm

Again, it is obvious that the body guard pulled the camera man down to the ground by tugging harshly upon his camera, which strap was around his neck.

BullDawg   November 16th, 2009 - 4:34 pm

Hey isn’t that Barney Franks boy friend, you know the body guard. I guess he’s upset with Barney for not giving up the rump Saturday night. Maybe he will get satisfied when he gets to the coaches hotel room.

Manhattanman   November 16th, 2009 - 4:57 pm

at the 12-15 second marks.. the bald dummy reaches up and grabs the camera man and tosses him to the side..

SUE THE BALD DOUCHE BAG!!

RobbieK   November 16th, 2009 - 5:38 pm

Wow, when did Obama’s SEIU start working as body guards?
