Behind-the-Scenes Clips Show Process Behind ‘Lego Matrix’ Viral Hit

NewTeeVee: It took 440 hours for Boyd and Ilett to create Lego Matrix Trinity Help, which is a perfect shot-by-shot remake of a short but memorable scene from the Wachowski Brothers’ masterpiece, executed via stop-motion animation and a nearly infinite amount of Legos.

Editor's Note: The first clip in the playlist is the complete Lego scene. The second clip is a side-by-side comparison with the original. The rest are some of the behind-the-scenes segments released by the creators.

Bah! They tried tried to make Matrix out like it was the new Star Wars. I don’t see people being attracted to floating bondage people with techno basement music. That’s why Trek, Wars, and the like attract people, it’s got some sort of fuzzy message and they were originally fun.
