Beck on H1N1: Who Do You Trust?

"I think that's the main question. Do you trust your government in a couple of things: A, that this crisis is even real, and B, that they have competently worked with the best medicine to develop, distribute and administer a potentially lifesaving vaccine? Do you believe that?"

Easy. When it comes to H1N1, I trust the GOVERNMENT over talk show hosts. I never trust the right-wing because you all wouldn’t know the difference between a fact and an opinion if it smacked you in the &$$.

WhatWhatWhat…your an idiot
Name one thing that Beck has said that isn’t true !!!!!
I dare ya
Go ahead and take the flu cure…last time the government did this 72 people died and nobody got the flu…lol
You be first and Ill take my chances by washing my hands every day
matter of fact I feel liking do that right now after talking to you

Whatwhatwhat   October 9th, 2009 - 9:38 pm

Nobody got the flu? And you call me an idiot? My friend you’re not only an idiot you’re a bald faced liar as well. The U.S. government has the brightest minds the world has to offer in research scientists. These people who have studied hard all their lives to become MD/PhD doctors compete to be able to get fellowships at the National Institute of Health and the Centers for Disease Control.

What are Beck’s qualifications to judge the scope of an influenza epidemic? Where did he study? How is he qualified to judge the need or effectiveness of a flu vaccine? Whether a person decides to get a flu shot is a personal decision but if Glenn Beck or any other unqualified talking head is the source of information for your decision, you’re a moron.

Yeah, your chances are pretty shaky when you weigh government incompetence against government nefariousness. Emergencies in a syringe, straight from Uncle Rahm’s laboratory

BS. Try facts, not conspiracies.

Please research   October 10th, 2009 - 1:27 am

Dear Whatwhatwhat,

I’d love to see some of the research you have done that makes you such a believer in getting this flu shot. Please, post it so others can understand where you are coming from.
I have done my own research, (not listening to Beck, I think the only time I ever listened to him was twice, last year, on a couple of long trips in the car). And, having managed a pharmacy department I experienced plenty of peoples’ personal results after they talked to me.
So, please enlighten me on your knowledge on this shot. And, why we need it.
Thank you sincerely.

Also, whatwhatwhat…where in this clip did you hear beck tell anyone to get or not to get the shot or the mist? he even went so far as to say it was YOUR decision and judgment that should be used since it is YOUR health on the line. not like the poor health care workers (like my wife) who are being forced into being vaccinated.

keep the change.

Consider this, the 2006 Patriot Act removed your right to sue the pharmaceutical companies should you be harmed. If you did want to sue you would have to petition the Dept of Homeland Security for permission, like that will ever happen. But let’s say you got permission, you would have to prove the drug company sent out the vaccine ‘knowing’ if was unsafe with side effects. So, we encourage them not to run long trials to find out how safe these vaccines are, because the less they know the better it is legally for them. All they have to do is say, ‘Gee, we didn’t know that would happen.’ Research done on this current H1N1 says that it contains high levels of Squaline (sp ?) which can trigger a paralizing Guerre-Barre Syndrome. It can be mild in your hands and/or feet to your whole body. I know medical doctors who are not endorsing this vaccine. A friend of mine in the Marines who was required to got the vaccine had such a severe reaction to the vaccine that he ended up in the emergency room that night with intervienous drips to counteract the effects. He is fine now, but I wonder the long term effects?

And as for those scientists who get to work for the Government, follow the money. Most Government studies are ‘Outcome Studies’ meaning they are skewed to get a particular result. This enables them to get more government grant money for research. You know, job security. Just like the government study that came out recently that said vitamins didn’t make any difference in your health. The research was so flawed my 10 year old could of seen through it. There were no controls as to what kind of vitamins (natural / synthetic), doses taken, or how often. The participants were not monitored and only asked the question, ‘do you take vitamins?’ Yes or No. Follow the money, the drug companies who donate large amounts of money to politicians election campaigns, don’t want to you to ‘healthy’ because then you won’t need there ‘drugs’.

As for myself, I choose not to get the vaccine or any flu vaccine. Some independant studies show that older people who get the flu vaccine regularly for several years have a higher risk at getting Alzhiemers. Do your research on flouride in the water. Flouride is meant to be a ‘topical’ treatment, NOT ingested. It is like having a cut on your finger and then eating the Neosporin. Flouride in drinking water is linked to many things such as lower IQ’s in children, low sperm count in men, and so on. But the government mandates it in drinking water. Flouride is a by product of the fertilizer industry of which they didn’t know what to do with, so some gov. Einstien said, hey it helps prevent cavities, let’s put it in the drinking water. Trust the Government? I don’t think so. Too many special interests groups/lobbyists/backroom deals that are not in the better interest of We the People.

Swine Flu Cases Overestimated?
CBS News Exclusive: Study Of State Results Finds H1N1 Not As Prevalent As Feared

(CBS) If you’ve been diagnosed “probable” or “presumed” 2009 H1N1 or “swine flu” in recent months, you may be surprised to know this: odds are you didn’t have H1N1 flu.

In fact, you probably didn’t have flu at all. That’s according to state-by-state test results obtained in a three-month-long CBS News investigation.

In late July, the CDC abruptly advised states to stop testing for H1N1 flu, and stopped counting individual cases. The rationale given for the CDC guidance to forego testing and tracking individual cases was: why waste resources testing for H1N1 flu when the government has already confirmed there’s an epidemic?

We asked all 50 states for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July. The results reveal a pattern that surprised a number of health care professionals we consulted. The vast majority of cases were negative for H1N1 as well as seasonal flu, despite the fact that many states were specifically testing patients deemed to be most likely to have H1N1 flu, based on symptoms and risk factors, such as travel to Mexico.

With most cases diagnosed solely on symptoms and risk factors, the H1N1 flu epidemic may seem worse than it is. For example, on Sept. 22, this alarming headline came from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.: “H1N1 Flu Infects Over 250 Georgetown Students.”

H1N1 flu can be deadly and an outbreak of 250 students would be an especially troubling cluster. However, the number of sick students came not from lab-confirmed tests but from “estimates” made by counting “students who went to the Student Health Center with flu symptoms, students who called the H1N1 hotline or the Health Center’s doctor-on-call, and students who went to the hospital’s emergency room.”
