Barney Frank: Career politician and typical Democrat. He and Dodd slept at the wheel along with the rest of us, then assigned blame across the board, and now heads the ‘rescue’ of the problem he oversaw the development of in part. I admire his respect for the Constitution and regard for Maryland law, etc., although this may be the first time a Democrat cared more about the absolute interpretation and respect for law over ‘by any means necessary’

O’Reilly: Just an actor and a good one at that. An entertainer who gets under people’s skin as a profession. I doubt he’s really a Republican, but he and Fox prove the imbalance of traditional network news coverage – when something right of center is presented on the news, everyone watches. Surprise! America is right of center; sorry to burst the bubble of those ‘who know all’

Good for Barney for not letting O’Reilly reduce everything down to a dumb statement. Barney’s point was simple: rooting out corruption is good, but breaking the law to do it shouldn’t be condoned. Unfortunately that’s not simple enough for O’Reilly and the stumps who watch him with religious devotion. Talk about worshipping false idols.

At the town hall meetings Barney Frank talks over citizens so they really don’t get a chance to finish there point or argue against Frank points. He can’t talk over O’reilly. I love it. It’s beyond me how the good people of MA vote this guy in every election. Hopefully with his track record on Fannie Mae, the MA voters will vote someone else in the next election.

Barney Frank diminishes the “rooting out corruption” part of discussion but makes a big deal about following the Constitution by saying those two young people should not have broken Maryland law?

Since when did Barney Frank start caring so much about following the Constitution?

Breaking a state law is more important, to Barny Frank, than exposing and stopping large scale national corruption?

Here’s a biggie for you:
Bonnie Fwank had a male prostitution ring running out of his D.C. townhome by his “Live-in lover.” Bonnie claimed he had no knowledge of it, (And if you believe that, I’ve got a bridge you can have real cheap) but ignorance is no excuse of the law.
Bonnie probably not only knew about it, but was giving his “World Famous Denture-Free Hummers” to customers.

Didn’t a news program video countless child molesters going to the home of a fake “child” they met on the internet for s3x? Could you imagine the outrage if any of the alleged child molesters then turned around and sued the news program? They were doing a public service. I don’t remember anyone bringing up the laws protecting those disgusting perverts.

Where are the people that should be protecting our children? If Acorn is involved in this lawsuit, they have no shame. The people in the communities that these videos were taken in need to speak up. You can’t complain about crime in the neighborhood, and then turn around a protect a group that wants to support the set up of a house of prostitution next door. They should be asking why a couple of independent investigators had to come into their neighborhood and do the job that the neighborhood itself and their own States Attorney should have been doing.

There are always new “massage” parlors (with prostitutes) opening up in our neighborhood, except we have a States Attorney in our county that is actively working to shut them down as soon as they open. I would expect them to go after anyone that helped them set up shop. The citizens here are very active in reporting this illegal activity, it is probably why the crime rate is low. We aren’t trying to protect the criminals.

Great points Justine. I wonder if Chris Hanson from Dateline’s To Catch a Predator ever exposed one in Maryland? What’s going on with Maryland makes me
wonder if state officials there have any ties to ACORN. Maybe some officials there are getting kickbacks from this corrupt group. Why is Maryland taking a
stance against those that expose corruption, misuse of our tax dollars and ACORN’s willingness to help set up an underage brothel using illegals? I think Maryland
has to be investigated. Hell, I think some of those in congress are in bed with ACORN. Hopefully maybe the discovery process will help unravel
and corruption within that state. The State of Maryland sickens me and I just hope its citizens wise up and get these azzwipes out of office.

I find it interesting that it was liberals in Congress who championed and got passed a whistleblower law to allow people to come forward and blow the whistle on corruption without fear of retribution. But just like the lefts cries of it being their right to call Bush every name in the book and protest everything Bush did, you guys showed a very ugly double-standard face once your guy was elected. Now protesting is hate and racism and I guess blowing the whistle is a crime. When it favors you and your party its a right, when it doesn’t its a crime. i’m sure legislation is at this very moment being crafted, as a matter of “national policy,” to ban video cameras in the hands of whistleblowers. freedom to steal is obviously a core belief of congressman, and that right shall not be abridged by the like of peasant citizens. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
