The allusions to violence are even worse. Ronald Reagan and William F. Buckley are perhaps the two most effective proponents of the conservative philosophy in our time, and neither felt the need for slandering of their opponents as individuals. We will prevail, but not through hatred or personal denigration of others. We’ll prevail because America is about liberty, not the statist approach being advocated by the current administration.
