Becoming a PC should be every conservative’s first priority. Blogging and carrying a sign at a Tea Party or attending a town hall is great, but unless we have better leadership and candidates in the main adversary party, the Debtocrats will get returned to power. It’s all about the Constitution and all about winning the elections. The best way to restore the Constitution and to have better candidates who respect the Constitution is to join the Republican Party at the grass roots and make it happen. It’s a numbers game. The more conservatives we have in the Party in the precinct committeemen ranks, the more likely it will be that we’ll get better elected leadership within the Party and in the general elections. Michael Steele was elected not by registered Republicans but by the precinct committeemen in all fifty states.

A major difficulty with blocking bills like this is that the tea partiers don’t have the intellectual or emotional capacity to block it: Barney Frank is probably smarter than all the tea party organizers combined and then some.
And, those same tea party organizers don’t realize that they aren’t in his league and instead think that loopy stunts, loopy signs, and throwing tantrums like little kids will be effective. Well, they won’t.

Michelle, I appreciate you “leading” the charge against a “government takeover of health care.” HOWEVER, that takeover began in 1965 with Johnsoncare (IE. Medicare). This entitlement program couldn’t exist without the support of “Conservative” voters and politicians. You can be very sure that President Obama is behind this because of a pending law suit filed on behalf of car dealers throughout the U.S. to have his decision to bail out the car industry null and void, and the suit is designed to force him to reveal his true identity, namely his birth certificate and other pertinent records. This is the standing that the other law suits did not have. I can assure you this is his plan to get this bill passed so the law suit cannot be processed. You people need to take stock of your lives, and begin to stop paying federal taxes in order to starve the beast. If not, all the complaining, caterwalling and Tea Parties don’t mean a “hill of beans”. There needs to be a national tax strike where people demand their employers stop taking out taxes from their salaries. In many cases you were told that the job you were employed for offered $50,000, $75,000, $100,000 or more. What they never tell you is that whether or not the amount was/is the gross, and not the net. Maybe we need to start suing employers for consumer fraud and demand all taxes back.
Further, if no one files tax returns, what is the government and IRS going to do? Arrest everyone? Good luck with that? Take your properties? Good luck with that. The streets will be filled with blood, and it will be IRS, ACORN, Federal Congressmen, and SEIU workers’s blood.

As a classical economist, I believe Michelle Bachmann “gets it” in terms of understanding the nature and gravity of the crisis enveloping America’s people, with one critical exception. The additional link is to the people who put Obama in office and who presently control his agenda and his actions. The same dominant elite who destroyed major firms under Paulson continue doing it, although they have taken a respite while Obama rams through the legislative agenda to destroy the middle class. Why destroy the middle class? Because we are the historic enemy and only real competitor for political and economic power held for centuries by the dominant elite.
It is the dominant elite who control media in the U. S. The media and not “state controlled” here; both the state and the media are controlled by the same master: the dominant elite. This connection must be understood if we are to confront and overcome this malicious oppressor.
