Of course the President is sincere. He is the President for goodness sake. He will support the Constitution as best he can but in order to make things work, make his programs and his vision work he’ll need to take some liberties with it. You’ve heard of “liberties” haven’t you? It’s a part of word Liberty which is what this country is founded upon and something that Bush and his henchmen took away from us.

President Obama supports the Constitution but in some places, (2nd Amendment), it’s showing it’s age. It needs a major revamping but in the meantime I urge all Americans to give the President a little leeway to get his programs enacted and working.

Duh… people who have a difference of opinion about the role of government do not respect The Constitution and do not understand that it was written to LIMIT the role of government in our daily lives. Obama understands The Constitution full well but wants it rewritten(or ignored) to give power to the government. He’s just another in a long line of people who have been slowly eroding our rights and will continue to do so as long as we allow it. McCain shows his true colors by making excuses for a president who clearly wants more government power and less voice of the people. Republican or Democrat, the end game is the same. Summary:
Tim Walz town meeting last week in Mankato. Young girl asks a tough question. Walz looks to former senator Senator David Durenberger (who he asked to “moderate”) to bail him out. Durenberger cuts off the girl (2:39) saying her questions (he calls them “comments”) are critical of the current legislation so he is going to move things on. The crowd politely boos, and forces Walz to respond. Walz responds with some nonsense about commodoties.
