Get illegal aliens to protect the borders…since they do the jobs Americans won't do.
All of us true conservatives want a secure border.

By the way, referring to my last post you saw, this is why "military guarding the border" even "national guard" guarding the border isn't going to work. They would first have to revoke the Posse Commitatus Act before any armed forces under federal jurisdiction could shoot at U.S. citizens.
Now, a State Guard (as opposed to National Guard) is under a Governor's sole jurisdiction and is not regulated by the Posse Commitatus Act that binds federal powers to use military force against citizens.

You want a border with a 2000 mile 18 foot fence? As soon as you do, they will use a bigger crane to put drug laden vans over it. Or use ultralight aircraft to drop 400# bales of product and return to Mexico without ever touching down or dig tunnels a hundred feet deep and 2000 feet long to cross the border. They already do. So what is your answer…a fence 50 ft high and 30 ft deep? Heck, y'all say we can't afford to fix roads and build bridges or have weather and earthquake monitoring systems or food safety inspectors or to keep college affordable. But the T. Party folksies wants to spend money on a taller, longer fence? and yet another war,,, with Iran?
I do think soldiers should be offered a chance to re-deploy as National Guard for use as a U.S Border Patrol partner. It could be wrapped into a form of military training too, but it would require a large strip of land to be obtained by eminent domain into one, long, skinny National Guard base.
Remember, your heroes of the private sector,,,these hotshot defense contractors like Martin Marrietta and Boeing failed at their task of a virtual fence even though they were paid hundreds of millions of $$$.

Our founding fathers knew their new form of government would fail if the people ceased to believe that God, not government, gave them their liberties to pursue happiness. How can minorities with opposing religions, language and culture, achieve as much happiness as white Christians in this predominately white Christian country with laws made to benefit the majority? A country fails when it's laws become so convoluted and contradictory by trying to benefit every minority as well as the majority. A strong country can support up to 20% of opposing cultures and religions. But when people do not learn English, do not put country above race or religion, we fail.
