What Lie, loser ? the cost of healthcare was going to skyrocket and that is what he said.

My experience tells me that whenever someone blows up like that it is because they have something to hide and they are trying to divert the attention away from what they said and focus it on their anger.

The off-camera speaker rightly pointed out that the non-partisan CBO has revised the estimates of Obamacare's cost. She was right.

What's more, the original CBO estimate (like all CBO scores) was based on a 10 year period. The problem? The Democrats built into Obamacare years of taxes that start well before any of the major benefits kick in. So you're paying taxes for years, THEN getting some "benefits". In that first 10 year span, such shuffling of the numbers makes it look like the plan is "revenue neutral". In reality, it makes the deficit even worse.

So what began as a terrible plan built on fake, misleading numbers is now being exposed as EVEN WORSE than all that.

Of course Leftist politicians will get angry when called out for their lies. They like to think they are smarter than you, that they know best and can therefore rule you like subjects, rather than serve you as citizens.

Think of every supercilious leftist out there (in both politics and the media). Has any of them stood up to any real questioning or scrutiny?

Look at George Will's dismantling of Bill Maher on the Sunday talk shows.

Look at Al Gore dodging tough questions on climate change.

Tag, America has the best healthcare in the world when you look at survival rates for critical diseases and has the shortest waiting lines for things like MRIs and specialist appointments. Does this cost more? Yes. The alternative is rationing….like the disaster of a healthcare system in Britain.

I am a disabled veteran, I was recently turned away from a medical appointment because I have coverage through the VA and the Doctor's reason for refusing me service is that the government is too slow in paying and does not pay the prevailing rate. The local VA facility does not have the facilities nor expertise to treat me. In addition, my wife who still works, has health insurance through her employer. Has been notified that her premiums will invrease in the near future as a precursor to the costs imposed by Obama Care.

Where has common sense gone?? The majority of Americans took a look at this health care issue, listened, tried to analyze available information, probably talked to their doctor, etc. – and decided – WE DO NOT WANT THIS.
Common sense – a 2000+ bill that Congress does not even fully understand, 50 or so additional government agencies to run the thing, add 30 million or so people to government paid health care, cut medicare funding, put a greater health insurance burden on each and every state – and things will get better??? Doesn't seem to make any sense at all – why was it not possible to establish test areas in this vast country – a few states under the federal guidelines. Why did we the people have to swallow this entire bad, poison, socialistic pill?? And why do we have to be lied to and degraded to boot?? Throw the bums out!!! Everything that is good for us should fit onto two, three or four pages – 50 at the most – then we can understand what we are buying.

I don't mean to put a dampner on your comments as for the most part I agree. However, I am on Medicare and Medicaid due to a dibilitating terminal illness. Since obama care kicked in, My deductable for my Meds increased. I have to take seven different medications, and each now has a deductable attached to it. I was also informed that after May 1st next year, if I am still alive any medication that I have taken for more than a year will no longer be covered. So I need to have a different medication prescribed or pay full price for what I need. These are some of the "You have to pass to find out what's in the Bill" provisions that nancy spoke of. I don't expect others to pay for my meds. I worked all my life and payed into teh system and I know damn well that what I get in medical benifits and SSDI is no where near what I paid. My forst year of disability cost came out of MY pocket and MY savings.

When I was finally diagnosed with MSA I was already broke. My wife and family are the ones who suffered the most, We don't have cell phones or other hot items as we still have to save every dime we get. The internet is my sole sorce of entertainment. And I use it to keep track of slimy political idiots. But I do understand you points. Those who truley need the assistance are left silent by those who could contribute more to the system.
