After all that has been happening with ACORN, these people were not too smart to come to the belly of the beast and then to slip up so badly as to tell the people they were from ACORN. To admit it in ear shot of any of these people was a very poor judgement call. But just like them, ACORN has never been found thinking too deeply. There needs to be an investigation into ACORN, they need to be found for all the fraud they have allowed and built-up in their organization. There is no way, that after all that has happened this past week that there shouldn’t be an investigation, especially after the government recognized their illegalities by severing ties with them (Census). Sadly, some how some one will find a way to get out of an investigation.
I just woke up from lots of worry (and a bit of indigestion) over how I’m going to to able to keep every employee I have working into the fall up to Christmas- then I did something really dumb…I ‘acted stupidly’ by putting the news on to hear anti-American rants and attacks on business and capitalism from Obama (what did he do again before he became Prez?) and that tax-cheat (oh, that’s right- I need to be more specific and single out which tax-cheat I’m talking about) Geithner.
America, I became so angry about hearing what those idiots say over and over again and about what those fools have done and are still doing to hurt our country’s economy and most businesses in America that I had to come over and get on this computer to say to you all, “This tax-paying small business-owner is mad-as-heck and not going to take it anymore!”

On one level, was ACORN breaking a law by selling the flags? I am white – but it jarred me when he called the boy, “boy” even though he is technically still a boy. However – someone of that age would also address as “young man” and it would have been much classier and cleaner to have done so.
Such aggression (and I am BIG supporter of the tea parties and I went to one on April 15) is unnecessary. It can be viewed from many levels – one man against a huge organization that has been given a ton of our tax money, and has indeed committed serious fraud concerning voting matters.
On another level – it is a black Mom and her kids selling flags at a rally. (I’ve sold popcorn before)…”Don’t tread on me flags” – brilliant idea. And the black mom and kids get chased off by a white guy…so he feels victorious.
I understand his need to “act”. However, unless they were breaking a vending law – they were doing no harm and maybe it would have been good for them to stick around, sell flags, and hob nob and get to know people, and the issues. Believe me – they are now turned off for life.
Pick your battles…and remember that they are Americans, too. They probably had a right to be there. Sometimes at these events you can only sell on behalf of an organization – not as a private citizen. I don’t like the idea of the money going to Acorn – but I do like the thought of the Mom and her kids getting out there and being entrepreneurs. That is what the liberty movement is all about.

My point is that any American should be allowed to sell there. And since the cop asked her who she was with – it tells me she can’t be there as a private citizen..it has to benefit something. So my guess is that – looking at them – I bet you they were there as private citizens – but their “lie” was it was a benefit for Acorn. I bet “not” because you don’t make that much from flags at a rally -especially compared to the billions we just gave them.
Even so – it is nicely capitalistic of her to go out and sell a product that the people there would want. That is the American way. She just had the vibe of someone selling trinkets at a parade, to me. So – even if she doesn’t believe in the rally, per se, it doesn’t bother me if she wanted to sell flags. For instance -some Jewish business people might own a store and sell things for Christmas.
So – i don’t like ACORN and I’ve kept up with all of their scandals even back in 2008 when they stole the primary from Hilary – but I kind of liked seeing this woman selling flags with her kids. It is such small potatoes, that I think most of it was actually for her and ACORN was the organization she had to name.
I used to sell popcorn at the county fair – (It was good money when we really needed it – maybe $400 in a day or soemting) then they changed the rules to where only organizations (non-profits) could sell. It seemed unfair – but that was what happened)
So – I bet she was using their name, and may work for them OR NOT – But I bet the money was for her and her kids (or most of it.)

I too wish to fight for freedom and the American way. I too am a white man. I served my country in the US Army. I vote. I write to my congress men. i pay my taxes and have had the same job for 20 years.
