Yes, I am a dumass. I voted for Obama because I was angry at Bush and wanted to punish the Republicans to throwing away their opportunity while in the majority. Seems the arts community has fumbled the ball. No speaking the truth to power since January 20, that is, can’t think of anything to CRITICIZE in the Obama regime…. that’s why the conference call… the regime knows that the artists are too stupid to realize they are being used. We need to go out and find the Con-artists, that is, the CONSERVATIVE artists and ENCOURAGE them to use their unique voice. Just as there was a ‘BUY-cott’ at Whole Foods this week, so there needs to be active support of the CON(servative) artists. Artists really are ‘brilliant’, just misguided at times. Would a ‘true’ artist go where the money is, prostitute their art for a sandwich? What does the term ’starving artist’ reflect? A person who is not paid for their art. I love the concept that artists who get paid for creating Obama-friendly works are really just doing political advertizing, even propaganda if you will, NOT art.
