Actor Nicholas Cage Says He Is Broke

Bloomberg: Manager Samuel Levin’s alleged failure to pay the actor’s taxes, combined with poor investment decisions, sent Cage “down a path toward financial ruin,” according to a complaint filed in a California state court in Los Angeles yesterday. Claiming professional negligence and breach of contract, the actor is seeking $20 million in damages.

Poor Nicholas Cage…had to sell his $2.5 million Bavarian castle to pay off his back taxes. Now he’ll just have to make do with his $12 million mansion in Malibu, his ski-in, ski-out chalet in Aspen, and his $2 million castle in Ireland.

I think someone needs to inform him about what ‘broke’ really means!

He should have referenced Geitner and Rangle in his defense.

Wow, that is sad. The rule should be ‘watch your money’ and if you invest ’set aside a good amount to live off of’, but it seems to go bad in so many ways.

Gee…maybe you should stop collecting multi-million dollar mansions everywhere you go. Perhaps THAT is where all your money went. Ya think? Typical Hollywood Bozo!
