"Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of people in Congress and in the Senate, are they going to be willing to be on the same plan they're asking us to be on?"
Of course not. That would take a vote by themselves to do that. Fat chance. The Dems should for sure and some might but NONE of the Repubs would touch it even though they will vote for it in the end.
A bill has been introduced by a new congressman who is a Dr to require that but it will die quickly as you might expect.
Why do you think they are not under the SS admin? Because they know it sucks.
Instead of fighting for it to fail we should be fighting to put them under the same system as everyone else. That will guarantee it’s failure.

It is getting VERY boring hearing of Beck, Olbermann, O’Reilly, Malkin, Hannity, Lib Talker, Dobbs, etc. every time they pass oral gas…
These ‘commentators’ are all just biased lip flappers… They are NOT news!!!
It would be nice it Bart could just tune out the spin doctors and maybe concentrate on things that really matter…
There is nothing more boring than media types talking about and running stories on other media types… This is getting to be like entertainment tonight…
Do your really think that Beck talking about three creepy old ladies is more important than the “fact” now that a Latina Racist is “now” a supreme court justice of the United States of America!! :D
Or perhaps, you fools can’t stand anything but the fake candy news anymore :D

I went to Savannah, Georgia’s town hall meeting and it was filled with Senior citizens. Some citizens walked with canes and wheelchairs. Yes, they exhibited minor outbursts, however, they were outbursts of frustration and tears. I wanted to hug them and tell them that it would be okay, but I could not honestly take such a stand. Yet these are the citizens that congress has labeled as mobs. I am upset and frustrated. I know, however, that I must get involved. I will be their age 30 plus years from now and I will not be as lucky. Power to the CONSTITUTION. The only way for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing.

When petitioned to sign the Health Reform, congressional members on the finance reform committe refused to pass the bill through the senate. Do see the refusal on the home page. The refusal is the hypocrisy that has me steaming. If you continue to think that congress does not feel that they are aristocrats, watch and comment on the clip on the home page: dems refuse to sign amendment.

The Dems are trying to give themselves reasons not to listen to us. The Tea Parties, the Concerned Citizens, and those that just don’t like this option are speaking out and because the Dems feel intimidated they make excuses and close their ears. This is why we are not getting things done. The videos of people shouting happen only after much is already said. The yelling is always a last resort. Even Obama told his supporters to get in people’s faces and yell and argue with them. I keep watching clips of these Town Hall meetings on http://www.AmericanParchment.com and am surprised that the Dems are so stupid as to go national trying to defame those that are angry about this new bill.

The Klu Klux Klan and the Aryans have changed their names to BIRTHERS and TEA BAGGERS to hide their bigotry and get the ignorant to follow them. They’re using the same tired old HATE and FEAR TACTICS of their heroes, the nazis. They’re even using death threats on congress and disrupting town halls, and trying to cause chaos. They are aiming to send America down to perdition, and should be put in prison for their terrorist acts.

you are worse than they are. People like you that deny rights to people

What concerns me now is because of our govts attitude (repub/dem) about “us” mobsters, is the following.
1) They will laugh it off until people start to get violent.
2) The “left” will bring in ACORN and Blank Panthers to the “Town Hall” to intimidate us regular folk. That would be real freaking ugly. I HOPE I am wrong.

“Americans have a right to be bigots, or Klansmen.” You epitomize what the problem is with this country. You are saying that terrorism should be legal. You spit in the face of all of the Americans that fought in WWII. You should go live with the Taliban, they’re just like the Klan.
Do democrats pay taxes – heck no! Republicans are the majority of population carrying the tax burden. They have a right to voice their opinion. Politicans are too stupid to understand there is a difference between those who pay taxes and those who vote. It is all to easy to drag some welfare “victim” down to the polling site. That “victim” probably hasn’t paid a nickel in taxes in her/his lifetime. I’m sick of supporting these “victims” who perpetually make bad choices and expect the taxpayers to drag their sorry butts along.
For R.J. and other ACORN employees,
First, read (if you can) the 1018 pages of the health care bill, and you will understand (maybe) why most of regular Americans (not just Republicans) are so vocal in opposing the Obama’s plan.
Secondly, Nancy Pelosi’s intend in her remark was to implicate opposition as Nazis. She used “swastika carrying people”, she did not say that the swastikas were aimed AT her, and AT Obama as a form describing HER agenda. Let’s remember, that it was American left that used swastika, and photo-shopped Hitler look alike George W. Bush portraits. It was YOU, who called G.W. Hitler no matter how factually inaccurate your accusations were. You and the media WERE fine with this. You called it as a patriotic descent.
Well, what goes around, comes around. Today, you are the target of protests and ridicule – enjoy.
JWAugust 7th, 2009 - 3:56 pm
This bill, if signed into law, will give the government (and O’s appointees) complete (unconstitutional) control over every aspect of your life. Read it if you doubt me. Keep speaking up for your rights, protect our elderly at the townhall meetings, and send the weasels packing in the next election. If there was ever a time to speak out, it’s now.
Soylent Green…. Ahhh yes, how that has been lingering in the back of my mind. What a classic… Scary, but there’s no way anyone would believe it could happen in the old America. We have “Hope and Change” now. They want what’s best for us….rrrrriiight???

Do democrats pay taxes – heck no! Republicans are the majority of population carrying the tax burden.
This is the craziest part, ever wonder why college campuses tend to be so Liberal? Here is a though exercise, if college educated people earn more money than say non-college educated persons, and the college educated skew democrat – who is paying more taxes?
It’s idiocracy out there, the health system is a complete mess why can’t we talk about doing something about it. It’s not getting better – the insurance co’s interests are to maximize profit by limiting losses. It is really this simple, maybe health care should not be the realm of capitalism or maybe it should be a co-operative where prifit is not the #1 factor in decission making.
Another thought experiment – imagine the police, fire, and public education system were all run like healthcare. Can you imagine your the police putting you on hold for 2 hours only to tell you your claim is out of coverage.
The greatest part of America is how if something is not working we change it. The silent majority want to change Healthcare and it cannot be stoped.

“What I see is a bureaucratic nightmare, senator. Medicaid is broke. Medicare is broke. Social Security is broke. And you want us to believe that a government that can’t even run a ‘Cash for Clunkers’ program is going to run one seventh of our US economy? No, sir!”
RJ as much as i despise flag burning the KKK and other like orgs, they are and always will show the ultimate freedom of the American people. People like you are more worried about what other people are doing instead of taking care of yourself. It is time for people like you to wake up step up and take responsibility for your life and not want the Gov. to take care of it for you. A truly great american once said the following ” Those people who chose security over freedom deserve neither” these words were said by Ben Franklin . If you want security and no worries about health care there are plenty of socialist countries in the EU that would love to have you. Read the Constitution the real one not a paraphrased outline that you get on so many sites, and maybe just maybe you will wake up and become a real american.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and many of their cohorts (weak ass repubs too) will soon be in those long unemployment lines with the rest of the Americans that they helped to put out of work with their out-of-control spending (fiscally abhorrent repubs too) that was supposed to keep unemployment below 8%. If that were true, could you imagine the scene at that unemployment office!! lol…

Thank you for your comment; Well said, I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Benjamin Franklin also said…
…when asked by a woman at the completion of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia “What have we got, a republic or a monarchy? “A republic if you can keep it” responded Franklin.
People, now is the time to start taking your republic back to its constitutional roots. Write your representatives and attend your town hall meetings and let them know how you feel about the direction in which your republic is being lead. Then vote for or against your reps according to the response (in action, not just words) you receive.
Remember, you (we) have the power (for now) so use it before you lose it. In 2010 VOTE out the reps who aren’t working for you and/or the republic!

RJ you said…
“You are saying that terrorism should be legal. You spit in the face of all of the Americans that fought in WWII. You should go live with the Taliban, they’re just like the Klan.”
Once again the left interprets (skews) the statements of concerned citizens who defend the Constitution, *along with* the brave Americans who fought in WWII.
The comments you are referring to do not say that terrorism should be legal! Open your eyes! The rights these comments defend are the right to assemble legally and have a belief that may go against the majority and the establishment.
While the Klan is detestable and goes against common sense and decency, they are American citizens and have the right to assemble. They are afforded this right BECAUSE of those who fought in WWII, including my Grandfather. When they cross the line and commit illegal acts they are tried, convicted and jailed like any other criminal and lose that right since they are now behind bars and have lost the right to vote.
Dissent is a right *and a responsibility* of the American people, especially when the people believe their rights are being eroded, whether you agree with their point of view or not.
I ask you to sit down and actually read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence for yourself, without your left-colored classes, and try to understand what it is that you are losing with the policies that Obama and the congress are trying to RUSH though. It’s not just the rights of those that are speaking out that are being attacked.

Walt, you did say one thing I agree with…
“The greatest part of America is how if something is not working we change it. The silent majority want to change Healthcare and it cannot be stopped.”
Unfortunately for you what you think of as the silent majority is in fact center-right Americans, who are starting to not be so silent, that do not support healthcare reform the way Obama and the left has proposed it.
The healthcare in this country is the best in the world. That fact cannot be refuted. That being said, the system the way it is now IS broken, and needs to be repaired. But creating over 350 new “bureaucratic agencies” (can you say red-tape), hundreds of thousands of “administrative” (without adding doctors and nurses) positions, and spend almost 1.5 Trillion dollars doing it is not the solution. Look at England’s HC system. It employs over 1 million people but grandma needs to wait 11 months for a hip replacement. I don’t know bout you, but that does not sound like the kind of HC reform America needs.
Why doesn’t the proposed HC reform mention one word about Tort reform? Frivolous lawsuits and medical malpractice insurance have driven up the cost of healthcare, yet there is nothing in the bill that addresses this major issue. Maybe because most of the members of congress are lawyers are supported in a huge way by lawyers… think about it.
Go to hell DNC!
