How can anyone support the democrats in anything. This is a corrupt party, and they do not have the United States best interest in their hearts. Joe Wilson’s outburst last night was both rude and disrespectful to the Office of the POTUS. I’m glad that he apologized, because he was wrong. Not only that, I do not believe Obama was lying, per se.

Obama’s sleazy lawyer parsing of weasel words were meant to mislead on the subject of illegals (a la Bill’s definition of “is”), but they were not, in his mind, a lie. He ONLY stated that his plan (i.e. medical insurance) would not include illegals. Also, HR3200 states Federal money would be used to pay for their medical insurance. However, the real world results will be:

1. Illegals will still get medical treatment, but it won’t be paid for by insurance … and like ERs today, also not paid for by those that passed the law.

2. There will not be any provisions nor directions to check a person’s legal status. (The same as the EEO/Affirmative Action requirements to report applicant and hiring statistics, but are not allowed to ask or require declaration.)

3. More likely, there (soon) will be a law (or judicial ruling) to not delay treatment to capture insurance information. Logic – why put patient at additional risk by delaying treatment, when everyone is required to have medical insurance coverage anyway (yeah, right, just like everyone has auto coverage!!). By the time the Dr and/or hospital realize the person does not have the required coverage, it will be too late. What are they going to do remove the stitches, reuse the x-ray, untest the blood, repo the medications delivered, etc. etc. ????? AND, at that point, who will be responsible to pay for these uninsured services? I know, just a minor detail.

4. The ONLY way to cut healthcare costs is to require some form of co-pay and/or deductible for ALL. Anytime something, anything, is free from the government, the recipients do not care what it costs. You can not possibly reduce healthcare costs if those receiving the care do not have some financial skin in the game to protect. If people do not have the money, they are almost certainly then receiving some form of welfare, and it can be deducted from their next payment. I recommend a minimum upper limit of 8% to 10% of a person’s income, but could understand $1 per visit copay and 3% to 4% of income as an annual maximum. If people can find the money for drugs, cigarettes, tattoos, beer, wine, cell phones, iPods, designer athletic shoes, etc. etc. then they can pay something for their healthcare. If they don’t care enough to spend a max of 3% of their income, then they don’t really care about their healthcare, so why should we??? And that doesn’t take into consideration the various charitable organizations that would be willing to help subsidize their minor medical expenses.

Although Joe Wilson did not challenge Obama’s abortion comment, I expect it to be along the same lines … The Federal Gov’t will not pay for abortion, the medical insurance will … even the public option.

Obama briefly mentioned malpractice reform, but didn’t promise to do anything about it, nor require it to be included in ObamaCare. Even if he did, the subject shouldn’t be limited to JUST malpractice, when abusive extortion/lotto litigation needs to be “reformed” for all organizations, including up and down the medical industry supply chain.

BREACH OF MILITARY DISCIPLINE:

Retired Colonel (Representative) Joe Wilson’s conduct last night is a breach of military protocol and represents a further departure from the historic good order and discipline I expected, in the past, to see from the GOP, pre-conservative talk show entertainers. Recent GOP performers have proven embarrassing to the New Republican Party.

As a retired Soldier I expect better from our Soldiers, to include South Carolina National Guardsmen. But, those rallying in the blogosphere to Wilson’s defense claim that he has reason ‘to be stressed out’ because he has children in the military. Interesting defense.

Fully one third of Army General Officers have sons and daughters fighting in our Armed Forces. Every parent whose children are serving — as all three of mine are — can respect the strain retired Col. Wilson might be feeling, and thank him for his sacrifice. Yet I would never expect to hear anything but the greatest respect for the elected President of the United States from these men and women, regardless of their political persuasion. ‘Stressed’ or not by having military doctors and intelligence officers in the family.

I would also highlight Colonel, Retired (Professor) Andrew Bacevich who has proven a brilliant communicator on behalf of men and women critical of those incompetent warfighters who have handed off serious military dilemmas to President Obama and his administration. Colonel Bacevich lost his son in combat in Iraq a few years ago, and I doubt if the good Colonel would ever embarrass the United States Army or Armed Forces as did Colonel Wilson.

I expect Minority Leader Boehner to police his ranks and help get his GOP colleagues back into a regimen of good order and discipline.

Today at noon Barack Obama addresses the nation’s schoolchildren .. or a good number of them anyway. Many students won’t hear the speech because of a rather severe miscalculation from the right. Republican screaming and wailing made it sound as if Hugo Chavez was flying in via Aeroflot to speak to our poor, innocent, unsuspecting angels. School districts reacted … and millions of school kids will sit around picking their noses at noon instead of watching the speech.

So now the speech is out. As of yesterday afternoon you could read it on the Internet. I’ve read it, and if there is anything in there that I wouldn’t want my child to have heard from a U.S. President, I certainly couldn’t find it.

Egad! The speech is innocuous! What are we going to do now? I know! We’ll all claim that Obama changed the speech after the uproar from the right! Well, duhhhhhh. Of course he did! Why wouldn’t he! Well, actually he really didn’t have to change it. It probably wasn’t written by the time conservative boxers bunched up en masse. So Obama’s speechwriters took their cue from the right and made the speech essentially bulletproof from the get-go. One sharp mind in a Republican strategy session could have seen this one coming from the next galaxy.

Now how easy was that? For about three days we have parents, the Republican Party and assorted odds spinning around on their eyebrows and spitting wooden nickels over Obama’s speech. He’s going to indoctrinate our children. He’s going to fill them full of socialist ideology. They’re all going to come away from school today singing Kumbaya and waving red flags. They’ll probably stop on the way home from school to buy a Che Guevara t-shirt from vendors the Democrats will have waiting out in front of their schools. Then the hopelessly indoctrinated kids will come home and destroy all the incandescent light bulbs and turn the spare bathtub into a recycling bin. Before they do their homework (reading The Communist Manifesto) they’ll hide the car keys so daddy has to take mass transportation to work on Wednesday.

TeamObama must have loved this one. Talk about a hanging curveball. Once the manic inanity started all they had to do is sit back, prepare an innocuous speech for The One, and let the people scratch their heads wondering what in the hell the Republicans were so upset about! Now the next time the right comes up with an objection to some Obama concept, people who last week might have been on board will stand back and look at the Republicans with a jaundiced eye.

This one was so easy for the left I can’t even think of another 300 words to fill out this column. So just move on to the next one. Two steps forward and three steps back. Unless PrezBO really messes up his address to Congress tonight watch for his popularity ratings to rise. Thanks, Republicans! If we continue with our existing healthcare, whereby only those who select insurance get it, according to the Constitution, we do not have to provide insurance to illegal immigrants unless we choose to do so!

However, if…if…they pass a bill that says…that “all” have to have insurance…then according to the Constitution…it must include “illegal immigrants” also!

So that is how they are spinning and moving the shells in the game!

He dropped…the numbers of uninsured to cover only what is required now under our Constitution.

And he is saying that in their so called bill…illegals are not included…and that is somewhat true according to the above description.

But since they are trying to pass a bill to cover “all”…according to the Constitution they must provide it for all…legal and illegal!

So they are covering up and spinning…again!

I have to wonder just how long before we witness another civil war. Actually, Rush is a brilliant commentator and a true patriot. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly uninformed and simple minded. If that offends you, rather than get into name calling frenzy, listen to the man for a week and learn what you can and I am convinced that you will come to the same conclusion… if you are a reasonable, open minded person.

The whole thing is blown out of proportion. As a population, we have to stop allowing ourselves to be distracted by the headlines of the day, while the government sneaks something in right under out noses – like the Senate confirmation of the Bolshevik Cass Sunstein – a whackjob who thinks your pet dog should be allowed to bring lawsuit against you – to the unconstitutional position of regulatory Czar.

What Wilson did may have lacked decorum, but what’s far more important than what any public servant says – is what he does. This is a concept lost on those who do not yet realize that Obama is an absolute catastrophe as president. There’s no doubt about it – everybody talks too much in Washington. Everybody grandstands when they think it will bolster their numbers. Every so often what a public servant says will resonate, as is the case with Wilson’s outburst. I have no problem with a citizen doing this to a lying official during a town hall. But Wilson doing this scores no points with me. I am done favoring any public servant, until this government once again becomes responsible as a whole.

Calling a liar a liar should be the bare minimum of responsible Representation, but look how many promising Republicans end up being dirtbags in the end as well. The Republican versus Democrat BS has to end – although I fully understand that there are unreconcilables out there. For the majority of us, it is WE THE PEOPLE versus an out of control government filled with progressive sleezebags on both sides of the aisle. No public official is worthy of praise or support until they prove to me otherwise.

When a person knowingly and repeatedly makes statements that are half-truths or not true at all, that person is in fact.. a LIAR. This is difficult for many to understand apparently.

If someone would list all of the concerns we have with Obama’s background, his associations, his statements, his beliefs, his proposals, his czar list, his supporters and his LIES all in one list, would the liberals still choose to ignore it or disregard it all? Really?

was that doctors rather than properly (his opinion) treating diabetes would prefer to cut off the patient’s foot for a fee of $30K, $40K or maybe $50K.

a question: if there were NO death panels then how could they be removed from the legislation? they were either in the bill or they were not. which is it?

An Open Letter to Congress
The real American people are in open revolt against your misguided, odious and “evil” plan to “reform” healthcare. They are in a state of rebellion and revulsion because the U.S. Government is aggressively pursues policies that threaten the rights of individuals, and openly pursues economic policies that attempt to replace American capitalism with European socialism (or worse, corporate dictatorship and crony capitalism NWO style).(As Mayor Daley would say; “It’s all about the contracts.”) What did you think would happen?

Pelosi, Hoyer and Reid are attempting to label tax paying voting Americans as “un-american”, and plotting the next steps to demonize them and negate our inalienable rights given us by the Creator, not any government. Durbin won’t even meet with the voters because he’s such a weasel and coward! [He doesn’t want to be “sucker punched”] No wonder unrest is setting in when our elected representatives insult us and act to our detriment, or ignore our real, legitimate concerns and opinions.

When governments become totalitarian and dictatorial, ordinary, law abiding citizens become the enemy. The more our government attacks certain cultural or other groups with real American values, reducing their estates by fraud and deceptive ways and means the more likely it is they will rise against all you. They will not let you get away with this. They will take to arms, if necessary.

Most of them are ordinary Constitution-loving citizens that are mad as hell about the wrong headed ideas and policies of this current Marxist/Nazi administration and the previous three lunatic regimes of Clinton and the two Bushes. You Senators and Representatives seem unable to handle the fact that ordinary American citizens are up to their eyeballs with loathing and distrust of the federal government and their little sub-governments -state and local governments. We have had enough!!!. And we cannot even think your proposals, action and policies are benevolent. We know you all better than that. (Ask the American Indians or victims of Hiroshima or the Taliban if the U.S. government is benevolent) Anything you say to the contrary must be considered either an outright lie of convenience or politically motivated fabrication designed to circumvent opposition in a misguided attempt to pass some bill or legislation that can be later amended to conform to what is being proposed now only as a starting point for negotiation. Regardless of how you try to pitch this plan is or what is being promised to the public, the misguided, illegal and unconstitutional healthcare legislation now being proposed is yet another instance of big government taking another piece out of our lives and pocketbooks, making us pay for the privilege; again having the unmitigated gall to tell us what we can or cannot do. And even when we will live or die! Oh yeah, and one more thing citizen; Those things you thought were yours (medical records, bank account, living will documents), well, we own them now.

For my part, I can see that this government is out-of –control and must be scaled back. The best government is the least government (T.Jefferson), not an all controlling Big Brother Nanny state. The CHANGE we need, want, and demand, is less government, not more. We want the unconstitutional all pervading government started by the Roosevelt administration dismantled and the money returned to the people who earn it through a lack of taxation. CUT THE SPENDING!!! We want you to be subjected to the same laws to as you impose on the rest of us. We want a Republic, not a corrupt insane national security state kleptocracy ( gov’t of, for, and by klieptomaniacs) that thinks that everyone who disagrees with it is an enemy, a security threat, or “potential terrorist”. [Such rich irony there because, as it turns out, Congress and other governmental officials are the real “threats to security” of the general populace.] What ever happened to the concept of the “loyal opposition”?

Everything for which America has stood for the last 230 years is under attack – not by angry mobs, not citizen lawlessness, not from threats by external enemies, but from those in charge of government. And you are aiding and abetting the evisceration of the controlling documents on which our government and society are based. You are perpetuating and facilitating by what can only be described as a criminal conspiracy bent on the destruction of all we hold dear. We are being ruled by what is essentially a criminal syndicate no different or better than La Cosa Nostra. You even kill people who get in your way or are a “problem.” Only you are much more dangerous because you have the coercive power and force of law to back you up. You can bet people are going to be angry. And they have to fight you so you don’t wreak total havoc. Normal Americans have recoiled at this attempted and illegal coup d’ etat, and have pulled their First Amendment freedoms off the shelf, while they still have them. In town halls and tea parties, formerly disengaged citizens have begun to remember what it means to “peaceably assemble” and use their “free speech” to “petition their government for a redress of grievances.” This has you all in a tizzy. The intense opposition you are facing to socializing American society from the general citizenry is obviously an unwelcome surprise to you. You thought you “had it in the bag.”

Many of these folks who are protesting your crusade for socialism were among those who actually fought the Nazis a few decades back. They know a Nazis or Marxists when they see one. So do I. In case you haven’t noticed, the current Democratic Party frighteningly mirrors the Nazi Party platform (rabid environmentalism, abortion and euthanasia rights, nationalized healthcare, government works projects, anti-profits, anti-big business, animal rights, etc.). And you are a principal in this, be ye Remocrat or Depublican. If you think these things are right and “O.K.” , you’d better review the situation. You’d better wake up and smell the coffee.

On the campaign trail, the perjured usurper whose now sits in the White House (Where is his birth certificate and other records? And why hasn’t there been a Congressional Investigation of this? Until he proves it, we must assume his is not legitimate.[if I am stopped for a traffic violation, and don’t show proof of insurance, it is assumed I don’t have it. And you have let this person assume the highest office in the land without verifying his eligibility to hold the office] seemed to understand the significance of grassroots activism. He said at a September campaign stop, “I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors… I want you to argue with them and get in their face… You are my ambassadors. You guys are the ones who can make the case.”
One can only assume that applied only to those who agree with him. To those who don’t, the message is somewhat different: “Try any of this at a town hall meeting on healthcare, and our union thugs (Nazi brown shirts) will kick in your teeth.”
Well, now normal Americans are arguing with you and getting in your face. You’d better listen. You are accountable to the voters whom you represent. Not special interests, lobbyists, or worse the Bilderburgers-CFR-NWO luciferian cabal. The American people are NOT liberal leftists or elitists. [only a small minority] We don’t want socialism, communism or state determined anything. We want government out of our lives as much as possible. We only put up with government as a “necessary evil.” The current out of touch Congress and government seems to think the opposite. Pelosi thinks ordinary citizens are “villains” for asserting their civil duties and rights. We are only starting to realize who the real villains are. You have awakened a sleeping giant, and it is going to crush you and your minions.

All of you took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, as it is written, not how you want it to be. If you cannot do this, you should remove yourself or be removed, by force if necessary. We, as the American people, have a duty and sacred honor to overthrown the usurpations of an oppressive government, by the wording of the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution itself allows the U.S. Government only the specific enumerated powers stated within the document. All other powers are reserved to the States and the People. Please dissuade yourselves of the fantasy that the “Necessary and Proper Clause,” or the “Commerce Clause” grants the federal government unlimited authority. They do not! These clauses only give some leeway for certain things – and only as long as those actions apply directly to the Constitution’s specifically enumerated powers. Healthcare does not, by a stretch of the imagination, qualify. Medicare and Medicaid are best defined as gigantic Ponzi schemes. The initiation and continuance of these programs can only be described as a criminal fraud. And you are aiding and abetting these frauds. These are the charges which will be brought against all of you in the new “Nuremberg” trials. As well as sedition and treason.

The current configuration of the federal government goes way beyond those enumerated powers and must be scaled back, for the common good and general public’s safety. You are endangering the very fabric of society by your “programs”. But then, you know that! That is their very purpose. To make things so unlivable, to create and amplify “crisis”, that we will call for –oh, wait- CHANGE. But what you are dispensing is chump change. The rest of the people’s money, rights and prerogatives you are busy “reforming” for yourself and your crony friends. Yes, “Its all about the contracts”.

I suggest you reread (or perhaps read for the first time) the Constitution and Declaration of Independence and the Federalist Papers, attempt to understand these fundamental documents, and reconsider your positions based on them. You must relinquish, at the office door, your personal opinions or what those who put you in office think you should do. You do not work for yourselves, the NWO, the CFR, or the U.N.. Personally, I think this is too much to ask. You don’t and won’t do the job you were hired to accomplish. You don’t even read the bills you pass into law and impose on the rest of us, all the while exempting yourself from the onerous provisions within. When the people cannot receive redress for their grievances from the government, they are honor bound, as Americans, to revolt against the imposition of oppression upon them. This is what you are seeing now
Get with it or get out-while you still have your skin- and it hasn’t been tarred and feathered.

It amazes me how all you rude, crude, sarcastic foul-mouthed people who believe yourselves to be Christians and wrap yourselves in the American flag & the Constitution – forever quoting ‘our forefathers’ and ‘real Americans’ – can at the same time blaspheme the Lord, make mockery of his name, actually bastardize his name and toss it around to be ridiculed and shamed, all for the purpose of showing hate and disdain for the POTUS. Rush talks a lot of good sense. Obama is a liar, a bold face dirt bag liar. True Americans know he’s a liar and don’t trust him. Keep in the back of your mind when he slipped up during the campaign and said “My musllim faith” and the fact that he still refuses to show his real birth certificate.
