Auburn fan   November 27th, 2007 - 6:45 am

As an Auburn graduate, this makes me so ashamed. Why are attack dogs on the field? To attack fans? Little children? Old people? Disgusting.

The dog is an officer of the law the same as the deputy “controlling” it. The player bit should swear out an assault warrant and lawsuit against the deputy for negligence and the sheriff or chief. If the player had kicked the dog, he would have been charged with assault on a law enforcement officer. This “Swat Team” mentality with cops has got to stop. If the cops cannot control a crowd with their presence, then perhaps they should ban 90,000 people from congregating in one spot.

There is a real problem with corrupt and arrogant police in this country. Hardly a week goes by without some little old lady being shot by the cops in a botched drug house raid — followed by stonewalling, planting false evidence, and the cop perpetrators going free. The Cato Institute web site has a Google map showing where dozens of such incidents have occurred — and those are just the reported ones.

The police are clowns with guns. They think it’s too hard to earn respect, so they just act like schoolyard bullies. Too bad our municipalities let them get away with it.

What if the dog knew current crime statistics? By biting an African-American player, the chances are quite good that he DID his job!

Security is handled by Pinkerton at Auburn. Auburn has turned very fan-unfriendly since the 80’s.

Sue time! Sue time!

The dogs just pick up on the attitude the cops have toward absolutely everybody: all civilians=enemy. The dogs tune into the hostility.

Hey Whatever you nailed it, and SKD great comment. PD’s need to get back to some PR education for their officers and stop with the I’m above the law mentality. As far as the doggie bite get rid of the wannabe rental cop, they won’t though they cover up their f—ups like any other PD.

I was once “patriotic,” whatever that term really means. Volunteered for military service, tried to be a good citizen, civil to neighbors, etc. etc.

But, over the decades, as I shed the brainwashing of youth, the public schools, the mass media, etc…

I now view the federal government as a greater threat to our liberties than all foreign terrorists combined.

And, the law enforcement agencies as lackeys of the ruling class, designed to maintain the status quo that keeps the elite class in their lofty positions.

The elites want the citizenry divided, one reason MILLIONS of illegals are allowed to enter and stay.

A house divides can not stand, Lincoln said.

Well, the elites are dividing us among many lines, race, religion, ethnicity, and cops versus citizens.

We ARE in the midst of class war and the elite class is winning.

Hey everyone, it wasn’t the police. It was a private security company, Pinkertons. Can you pinheads understand that?

SKD   November 28th, 2007 - 11:52 am

Hey, dipstick, in terms of attitude toward the public there is often very little difference. Besides, a lot of Pinkerton personnel are ex-cops.
