A few things Wright does not know

The ‘church’, (called out ones) are to do this.

1Co 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ

Wright doesn’t know that, oso he can’t do that.

There is ONE thing Wright is to KNOW, if he claims the name of Christ,

1Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified

There is NO race among those in Christ.

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus

Wright doesn’t know that.

And if a ‘Christian’ doesn’t know those things…

One day that ‘Christian’ will learn that God doesn’t KNOW him.

After watching Mr.Wright i must admit that i like this fellow even more than i did once i saw him on Bill Moyhers program Friday.Can someone unbiasedly please tell me what he’s saying that’s so offensive?? have you not listened to his speeches and not the soundbites Bill Oreilly feeds you continously?? this country has lost so much intergrity and courage that you’d rather shun and condemn those that hold the mirror to your faces and challenge you to look at yourselves.The level of arrogance and ignorance amongst my fellow americans (black & white)is enormous.I cant wait for the inevitable conversion,debate or dialogue that Black America has with its historic enemy and oppressor the White power elitists,,although due to the threat of national security caused by such meetings i doubt i’ll ever see that in this lifetime.One theing i will continue to see in this lifetime is the villification,character defamation and misinterpertation of Anyone who raises questions and challenges the status quo of this Country.The powers that be will never allow the voice of the oppressed and exploited to be heard unless they shout loud enough for the world to take notice and i truly believe that day is coming.

I guess by “unbiased” you mean someone who agrees with you. In that case I am not.

But it doesn’t matter because if you need assistance understanding why Wright’s comments are offensive your moral compass is in worst shape than Obama’s. At least Obama is trying to get elected; what is your excuse ;-)

Way to go Phil Thomas. You really get it.
Unfortunately, not enough do.
Wright is actually a great American for trying to convey these messages.
The mirror illusion is extremely fitting. We’ve looked and then we keep looking away because we don’t like what we see.
It amazes me how many can look into the mirror and see nothing but good. Yes, the good is there but we are still overlooking the less desirable parts.
I don’t mind celebrating the great things about this country. It’s just we’ve let the shine blind us to the things we need to change.

The Reverend Wright seems to be stuck on an apology. From where I sit, I don’t see anyone that owes him or his congregation an apology. There is no slave trade reminiscence of the early days of this country in existence today. Our government does not and has not in any living persons existence sanctioned slavery and no living persons in the United States has been bought or sold in an open market to be apologized to. It appears the just like Sharpton, Jackson, and Farrakhan, The Reverend is nothing more than a rabble rousing individual that depends on his acid tongue to make his living.

He damns the policies not the people. Not consistent with his understanding of our political system or his perception of race relations.

It is the people who elect the rich white men who create the policies that grind people.

To not damn the electorate for doing so is a weakness in his position.

I think nearly every American is sorry about the institution of slavery. Many Blacks and Europeans came here after emancipation also. And many hundreds of thousands of Americans paid with their lives for emacipation. Will the nearly white preacher who had a privileged childhood and lives in a 10 million dollar house thank America for this? His big mouth has provided a great lifestyle in the cottage industry of hate entertainment. He’ll never thank white churches for the miracles thay have brought to Africa either. Educated black Americans have move beyond him.

Hes a Jew Athiest and a Muslim. Christians love their Country not hate it, the only thing the Country has ever done wrong was let the illegals come here and create the reccession. Big mistake but it was done from a kind heart, they just took avantage of our good nature.

“Reverend” Wright is looking out for “Reverend” Wright…if Obama is nominated, his money making shills blaming the USA for the problems of Black Americans and embedded racism goes out he window; ergo he WANTS Obama to fail! The biggest emeny of Black Americans is THEMSELVES. Listen to Dr. Bill Cosby, he has the solutions: marry the woman you impregnanted, get an education, get a job. Really simple stuff that doesn’t get the attention it should because it puts the onus of CHANGE on Black Americans themselves, its sooooo much easier to blame whitey and the government.

You said it! Wright is a raving maniac, and his ranting makes him sound like a paranoid schizophrenic. What a hideous, pathological narcissist, to treat the first serious black contender for the presidency in such a disrespectful, destructive fashion. Lunatic Wright, please just shut up and go away, and let Barak Obama continue the great job he has been doing in showing Americans a better way than the divisive cr*p that you, the so-called Reverend, have been spewing!

As Barak said in his response to Wright’s appalling display of hatred and ignorance, “IT IS IN MY [BARAK'S] DNA” to cooperate and draw together disparate groups. If anyone can do so, a person with both black and white genes can! Obama has LIVED both sides of the equation and has the insight, experience and motivation to find common ground among all Americans. Barak’s objective is clearly HEALING, not hatred.

Barak Obama inspires more “REVERENCE” than the loud-mouth Wright ever will!
