The Saudis seem to be praying for higher gas prices. Guess who’s prayers are bing answered!

Rover, the Saudis don’t have to pray for higher prices. They set them, or at least the price of oil.

They don’t even have to pray that the US debt to them continues to grow to the point where interest payments to them per day are in excess to what the richest poster on this board makes in 10 years. It’s already happening, and on his last visit to that country, President Bush asked them to buy up more of the United States’ debt, and in order to do that they must keep gas prices high.

It’s not what Bush did. It’s the greedy Wall Street speculators that are pushing the price up,,the Arabs, the fact that Tree-Huggers won’t let us drill our own oil. Also, China and India are sucking up more and more oil etc..
But to pray for lower gas prices is not what I think prayer is all about. Prayer is for strength to resist temptation of sin….for the souls of others….for the poor to eat..for wars to end…Not so you can drive your SUVs.Or to go to a Church soup kitchen…which I don’t believe is their real dream for these prayers.

Prayer is for those that refuse to get off their knees and on their feet too help themselves. If their real concern is to get people to help the unfortunate why not pray to eliminate the social ills that cause hunger and poverty? Supplication to magical invisible sky deities never solved anything.

What kind of God would let gas prices get so high?

PolitiP   April 26th, 2008 - 11:53 pm

How about we pray for lower grocery prices as well?

Yay, though I walk down Aisle 9 at Food Lion, I fear no food item that I can buy with a coupon.

Exxon 3:16 – He gave his stupidest son to President and oversee the worst US economy since that when he was President. Saved by thee, by the power Exxon (hollowed be thy name).

Oh PLEASE My Lord GOD JESUS!!! Allow me to fill my truck up with less than $3.00 a gallon Saudi Soda!!

May your angles in Heaven allow America’s ‘dick’ Cheney and Bush to kiss King Abdul’s a** all it takes to get these prices down!!!!! UNLIMITED ARMS to them too!!! In the name of Jesus, of course…

And may God bless the home of Mecca and the 911 terrorists!!! Let bush and Cheney spend more quality out of country time “there”, than almost every other country on this Earth! If just to go fishing…

Let’s go blow out Iran and Seria that takes care of our “suspects” from our gulags!! May our “dick’s” false claims purify us to deserve these fluids form God’s body!!

And maybe we can get five gallons out of Iran too that our “volunteers” are fighting for there… Darn shame that Osama is still alive after all this s***…

“Heck of a job” Republicans, Bush, Cheney, and neocons…

In most traumatic post war situations, we would drag you bodies out for mass burnings…
