The professor that comments during this video stated that the cops were armed. So, I guess he would have preferred that the shoot this guy? The bottom line is that he was resisting arrest, so the cops did what they felt they needed to do to get him under control. Had they used brute force he would have been more likely to have suffered an injury. While the use of Tasers may seem cruel, it is often the most humane way to get someone under control.

Besides, anyone that acts as their own attorney can’t be all that bright (or sane), so I have serious doubts about this guys credibility.

This guy should be institutionalized. Seriously, look at what happens to him every time there’s conflict:

His original claim was for ’stress-induced disability’ caused by 3 other people (at work?)

Now, he claims the tazer incident has caused him brain damage.

He’s too fragile to be amongst us. I think a nice padded room is in order. (actually, I think he just doesn’t want to work and sees easy money)

that idiot is a menace to himself and all around him…it figures he teaches at a university…

Seems to me the professor thinks he is above the law, but wait dont most of them! This is what is teaching Americac’s kids….OUCH

Sturgis Drain   November 20th, 2007 - 9:13 am

For an insane person, he has excellent diction.

Dev Rios,
How right you are brother.

They should taze more professors.I’m sick of these leftist nutjobs brainwashing our kids.

Sue   November 20th, 2007 - 10:00 am

I’m in favor of the use of Tasers whenever necessary. I’m totally pro-law & order. I agree that there are too many leftist nutjobs holding professorial positions.

Still, this guy was NOT eluding. He was NOT struggling. There was more than enough manpower in the courtroom to control him.

The Taser was totally unnecesary in this case, so some sort of justice is necessary.

Was the guy “brain damaged”? Yes. By the looks of things, he was unstable BEFORE he was Tasered. There’s no evidence that Tasers cause brain damage, let alone any permanent injury.

He should have said,”don’t tase me bro”. That always works.

E390   November 20th, 2007 - 11:59 am

I think the brain damage happened long before this court date. Just another liberal wack with a mental disorder. Parents beware these are the freaks teaching our children.

That what we do when a fellow mormon get’s a little nutty, we taze the bro.

frank McDonough   November 20th, 2007 - 3:03 pm

Ever notice that people never get tased when they obey the police. Works every time!
