Now this is a great story. Forget about “innocent until proven guilty”. This perp was dealt with swiftly and properly. Unfortunately the gator was murdered…for being a gator and doing what gators do. That line
“this was a nasty gator…”, well duh…they don’t have those teeth to hold cigars.

I wonder if they would allow me to purchase this gator and bring it back to Texas. If it can stand a little cool weather I have a perfect environment for it live in. The Rio Grande is teeming with native species that are apparently part of this gators dietary preference. It could restore a natural balance to that area that contains a species that tends to overpopulate and migrate to the North excessively and seems not to have a gov’t approved natural predator to keep it in check.

Wonderful justice has been served.

There’s an old song about criminals fleeing justice in the Everglades: “Where a man can hide, and never be found, and have no fear of the baying hounds; but he better keep a’movin and don’t stand still, if the skeeters don’t get him then the gators will.” Quite prescient, that.

Too bad the gator had to die. It was just doing a law mans job! As for the robber, I think there was somethin’ wrong with his medula oblongata!
