I guess Satan is not the only thing with horns the Pastor should have been worried about.

The man of the Lord sounds like he was the real deal and preached the love of God from the pulpit. I think the goat got him and “Reverend” Wright mixed up.

First thing; Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.

Second thing; Goats make good bar-b-que if prepared properly. The hide can be used for a chair seat or drum head. Horns are just a bonus.

They should have had the goat introduced to Obama’s pastor before they shot him.

I’ve heard of a “goat rope” but this is
a cluster foxtrot.

Oh right the evil goat. Give me a break. I think they need to look a little deeper. Like maybe check how much he was insured for.

Who has ever heard of “Death by goat?” You gotta remember this is Tennessee, so the goat was probably exacting revenge for the Pastor’s past sexual indiscretions with it. The goat probably beat this guy’s sheep to the punch.

Of course goat is good eating. Its eaten all over the middle east…uh oh, maybe the goat was a sleeper cel for you know who… This is one of those stories that is just black. You would think God could have given a humble servant a little less humorous death, but that’s God for you. Goats will be goats. There is an intelligent livestock design in everything.

I bet he was a hit with the Sheep, too…….

I wonder if the now-dead caprine is being used simply as a scapegoat? Is this one crazy goat, or did it have cause for its behavior that the story ignores? For instance, how was the goat tied? Slip knot around the neck makes lots of animals crazy. Any evidence that the pastor knew anything about handling animals? No autopsy to be performed, so they must not suspect the pastor had a heart attack, and then get trampled by a goat that was trying to get away, who got successively crazier being inextricably attached to the dying man. (Or do they not want us to know that?) Lotsa possibilities left open that don’t go with old superstitions relating goats to Satan.
