My question is did the Congresswoman talk to the reporter as promised or was it just a promise made to get her to turn the cameras off?

Jeez aside from any ethnic issues, can you imagine if the Congresswoman had been a Congressman?? Damn it’s be out as a CNN.com breaking news item!

I think the reporter was wrong. She ambushed the Congresswoman in the halls. The lady asked politely for the cameras to be turned off. The news woman and her camerman did not respect the request. In fact, when the Congresswoman tried to walk away Attkisson kept up the pursuit. So, she got what she deserved for being a rude and spoiled little brat. This is not a racial issue. It is an etiquette issue.

This is truly a non event except I think its entertaining when a democrat get annoyed with a teammate….the press or in this case a TV reporter. They normally work so well together almost to a script most of the time. My guess is this reporter picked up a joke script from her DNC handler and didn’t realize it and the poor congresswomen used too so much cooperation from the press was just caught off guard….oh those leftists…sure are zanny but darling don’t ya think ?

What a non issue. The Congresswoman did not lunge at the reporter, she did not use force or any other form of aggression. She simply put her hand out and touched the reporter. Geez, talk about over reaction!!! Isnt there anything more important on the news?

First off this congresswomen should know about thre free press and she should have answered questions instead of trying to lie. People in our government like Tubbs is the reason this country is behind in education, ethics, violence among blacks, 70% of black children are born out of wedlock. Viva Gore is either someone joking or a fool. Viva said the democrats have family values even though they are for abortion, and gay marriage. How can their be family values when they want to kill babies thru abortion?

CBS…make an appointment. If they won’t meet, then report that. Ambush interviews are done SOLELY to promote confrontation which the network producers can promote to increase RATINGS! The profit motivated, self-serving corporate media of today uses the “freedom of the press” to make MONEY. They just “dress it up” and justify it as “journalism.” It’s nothing more than STUNT journalism….and the public laps it up like kittens to milk.

If the Congresswoman did something wrong, investigate that, report the FACTS and post the whole story. The STORY shouldn’t be that she TOUCHED your reporter when she wouldn’t give into your ambush attempt.

What do we even need the American judical system for now anyway? We all know the network owners and producers are the judge, jury and executioners today.

I thought the democrat Congresswoman was not out of line. Some people mean no harm when holding your arm.

It was cheap attack by the reporter. I hate it when its done to both parties and I’m a republican.

I also hate when either party is lied about to make for cheap reporting. Since I do not know the facts on this case I will hold my opinion about the 2 mill.
