BBC News: Kenji Nagai, 50, was shot dead on Thursday as he filmed demonstrations in the main city, Rangoon. TV footage has emerged which raises the possibility that he may have been deliberately targeted rather than caught in cross fire.

Cowards – this man was shot nearly at point blank range if I’m seeing correctly.

What has been going on in Burma (Myanmar) has been going on too long and can no longer be tolerated. These recent event should be (I hope) a catalyst for change and put enormous pressure on the Burmese government for change – if not short of a complete overthrow of the Burmese regime there by way of clandestine operations or international military intervention.

The number one enabler of the Myanmar regime, and many brutal thugs around the world is CHINA.
The PRC props up dictatorships in Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Syria, Cuba, etc. simply in the name of trade, oil, and weapons sales.
And Russia is China’s co-conspirator in the UN in preventing any meaningful action to end the abuses carried out on these oppressed peoples by their own rulers.

Absolutely tragic. How long did he lay there dying?

It is always tragic to see the cold blooded murder of any human being. I’m an American and I lived in Japan for three years of my life. I can attest to the loving and wonderful nature of the Japanese people. This has to be a blow to the whole country. The heartless animal that shot this brave man I only pray will reap the whirlwind that will eventually come for him.

Remember this the next time you go to Walmart/Target/KMart and buy a shopping cart full of cheap Chinese crap. THIS is what you’re funding.

Hello, U.N.? Anybody out there? If we’d had more international support for the Iraq war, maybe we’d be OUT of there by now and IN Myanmar, giving these Commie SOBs what they’re asking for.

UN = Joke
UN Security council is being held up by the likes of the USSR (you’re not fooling anyone) and China. Time for a new direction. They are totally worthless on the world stage.

The entire free Western world will be at war with the coalition of China, Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, and a host of a few other rogue nations including those in the Middle East eventually. We Westerners had better start picking out friends and foes soon.

Jack – I say we stop funding the worthless and toothless UN before we stop buying cheap goods made in China.

Gratuitous murder in “war zones” is “so” common… Just look at Backwater… If you don’t like it, you are just going to have to go down there and “get some” for your selves…

These Bloggers are planning to refrain from posting to their blogs on October 4 and just put up one Banner then, underlined with the words „Free Burma!“.
