LOL! Name one!… B. HUSSEIN IS ONLY WORDS!

Pam   February 20th, 2008 - 10:12 am

Matthews has been over the top at times about how wonderful Obama is. This is the first time he actually brought up a very important point and that is that most people supporting Obama don’t have a clue as to what he has done or who he really is other than his “inspiring” speeches. But the Press is the one responsible for creating this myth that is Obama, but not asking these questions earlier.

People are voting for a man just because he is Charismatic and a good orator, that’s not a good reason to elect someone President. MSNBC has been one of the most negative stations when it comes to Sen. Clinton. It’s about time that this was addressed. We already have a man in the White House who was voted in on his likability, we don’t need another empty suit in the oval office.

WTG! THIS is really the raw truth that he speaks or doesn’t speak for so many Obama supporters. This is what so many know but to many don’t see in this cult like atmosphere.

IalwaysVote   February 20th, 2008 - 10:28 am

Journalistic distinction here. = Obama backer hasn’t a clue

“Being caught up in the moment”

I’m confident the General Election will sort all this out when two distinct
Ideologies are presented.

Paul T   February 20th, 2008 - 11:01 am

Nice work Chris Matthews!

Obama is like the Hypno-Toad from Futurama. All charm, no substance.

Bosco   February 20th, 2008 - 11:02 am

Okay, so now name 1 accomplishment that Sen. Rodman has accomplished. Just 1. I see this woman taking credit for things she had nothing to do with, and refusing to accept responsibility for the failures of her husbands Presidency. Liberals are all flash, no substance.

Sidra   February 20th, 2008 - 11:07 am

Here, I have an accomplishment that the media will not talk about;
“While Hillary Clinton battles Barack Obama on the campaign trail, a judge in Los Angeles is quietly preparing to set a trial date in a $17 million fraud suit that aims to expose an alleged culture of widespread corruption by the Clintons and the Democratic Party. The Clintons have tried to dismiss the case, but the California Supreme Court, in 2004, upheld a lower-court decision to deny the motion.”

What an accomplishment. And she wants to lead my country.

Perrell Bess   February 20th, 2008 - 11:11 am

Of course coming from msnbc… the clinton media machine where on chris matthews show they put up a bin laden picture while talking bout Obama. It just comes to show that the media is bias. Chris I have lost all respect for you.

rvines   February 20th, 2008 - 11:18 am

It seems that all of these “Mistakes” are a convienent way of trying to slow the momemtum of that Obama campaign. The Libs. want Hillary so badly that they are ready to accidently prompt the public into a false belief about Obama. I am a life long republican, it is funny to watch them (the libs) turn on each other. It is just plain vicious.

Xavier   February 20th, 2008 - 11:20 am

Name one: how about the most sweeping ethics reform since Watergate. Is that good enough Chris. I swear, this supporter was a real douche. He does not represent the majority of Obama backers.

E390   February 20th, 2008 - 11:55 am

Wow, hell must have froze for a brief moment in time for this lefty to ask such a good question and push for an answer. Obama wants the government to control our lives, he also is a sponsor on a bill that would give Billions to the UN every year to try and stop Global poverty. He wants the American tax payer to support the whole world. Get ready for 70 – 80% tax bracket to pay for world poverty, universal health care, homes for the stupid who entered into a contract they could never pay. The burden on the backs of the tax payers will continue to grow until those backs are broken.

Steve Knapp   February 20th, 2008 - 12:17 pm

It was disappointing to watch Mr. Hardball allow the State senator from Texas writh about while the Congresswoman/ Clinton supporter piled on. If Matthews wasn’t so busy basking in his ‘gottcha’ moment he would have turned the same question on the Congresswoman. Good moment for Chris could have been better…

BILL5321   February 20th, 2008 - 12:43 pm

Obama has beaten Hillary’s huge political war machine. This action is an accomplishment that no one believed possible 12 months ago.

Hillary mismanaging her compaign by running out of money at a crital time. Hillary raised more than $90 million dollars and wasted it everywhere. Last year, she spent $500,000 on parking and then over paid her Marketing Agency by millions of dollars. Waste not want not.

Her economic program was only 13 pages long! What a joke. After two years and $90 million dollars this was the best she could come up with? No one is that stupid.

Her run for president ended in Wisconsin! She is unfit for leadership. Time for Hillary to move on because Obama is running this ship.

Obama will heal the nation and stop the infighting.

Chris Matthews who?

Obama 2008

Jeff   February 20th, 2008 - 1:06 pm

NAME ONE CONGRESSIONAL LEGISLATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF GEORGE W. BUSH BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED, NAME ONE FOR JIMMY CARTER, NAME ONE FOR BILL CLINTON, the list goes on.

Come on Hillary, come up with a better slam than that.

the Dude   February 20th, 2008 - 1:12 pm

Obama is a bag of wind – get a clue.

hernando   February 20th, 2008 - 1:26 pm

name one president since jfk with one legislative accomplishment.

Bob   February 20th, 2008 - 1:26 pm

What in hell has the bushman did in the last 7 years beside screwing up the country. There isn’t a good candidate in the crowd.Bleedat.

Clayton Bigsby   February 20th, 2008 - 1:37 pm

I’m just waiting to see Chris Matthews walk into a Dateling program with Chris Hansen, me thinks CM has some ghosts in his closet that he might not want out…….Not to mention his good buddy Keith Olbermann and throw in Bill O’reilly that also have a few “Issues” in their past

Lee   February 20th, 2008 - 1:54 pm

What that Video does not show is that right after Chris Matthews digs into the Texas Senator, His Co-Host asks if he could name any of Obama’s achievements. Matthews fumbles and says no he cant. Then he says that the Texas senator should have been ready. And that “this is hardball”. His co-host replies saying, No actually this is MSNBC Primary Coverage. Matthews looked pretty powerless after that. The video lacks this rather great ending.

J   February 20th, 2008 - 2:05 pm

Well folks, I am a registered republican from the state of South Carolina, and I am supporting Sen. Obama. The selling points for me are his well developed constitutional philosophy, his ability to usher in a new era in Washington D.C., and he most certainly is inspiring. Here are a couple other accomplishments of Barack’s: He was elected and served in the Illinois State legislater–a legislature that presides over Chicago–and he has been sent to the U.S. Senate by the people that elected him to state office. He must have done something right.

Lynn   February 20th, 2008 - 2:18 pm

The problem with Obama is he talk aaallllooottt. Oh and did I meantion he is an elitist. I’ve looked at his propasals and they are mediocre, not what you would expect from an agent of “change.”

Cris   February 20th, 2008 - 2:22 pm

Do your own research at the library of congress. My research found that both candidates have impressive congressional records. I do however, realize that regardless of anyone’s, including Mr. Matthews, personal opinion or attempts to force perception, who I choose to vote for is still my choice.

The deciding factor for me is this campaign’s turn of events revealing the character of the candidates under fire. Obama has held up much better than Clinton and continues to makes strides during what is factually the largest effort either candidate has had to lead.

John   February 20th, 2008 - 2:22 pm

News Flash! The fact some SUPPORTER can’t name some legislative bill Obama was responsible for does not mean he has none. Blame the messenger for being a dolt if you like but it’s not Obama’s fault. I can name one (ethics reform) and I live in another country. That Texas guy is not up to speed on current events. And message to Chris, okay you got him, he could not name one, do you have to ridicule the poor guy. It’s not like this guy is President and he names the leader of Pakistan as “Umm General”. Bush is so lovable.

Derek   February 20th, 2008 - 2:23 pm

“The more the world learns about Obama and his whacked out white hating Church and pastor the more theyll be shocked.”

Way to be objective here Tom. It is good to see you haven’t forgotten about the first amendment.

It makes you look smart when you refer to Barack as “Hussein” and his church as “white hating”. You hit some good keywords here and someone may be dumb enough to drink your kool-aid. Self Righteous A$$.

elderlymanriver   February 20th, 2008 - 2:26 pm

Would like to have seen the full interview to see if Matthews asked the Clinton supporter the same question – probably would have gotten a similar answer. .

John   February 20th, 2008 - 2:28 pm

Hey web site guy, why the heck does my post end up in the MIDDLE of the page? If it’s the latest to be posted should it not be at one end, the recent end???? Some how someone posted 5 hours after me when it was 5 minutes. Maybe you do crap web programming?

T3h_Mast3r3r   February 20th, 2008 - 2:43 pm

Pwn3d!

Ray Blehar   February 20th, 2008 - 3:42 pm

Matthews and Lanny Davis also pulled this “stunt” on the governor of Wisconsin (who couldn’t name an Obama accomplishment either).

Given that the media is (allegedly) unbiased, the governor should have been asked to name one accomplishment by Ms. Clinton. I’m pretty sure he couldn’t have named one (real) accomplishment for her either.

Extinguishing “Bimbo” eruptions is the only achievement I can think of for Ms. Clinton. Legislatively, she’s accomplished nothing.

Saralyn Rowland   February 20th, 2008 - 5:01 pm

Chris is a “foaming -at-the-mouth” liberal who is so biased against conservatists ,it’s not even funny.I saw him one night last year talking to Michelle Malkin. He would not even let her finish a sentence. The worst interview I have ever seen (and I see a lot.)He bullied, shouted and tried to humiliate her just because he disagreed with her answers.I have never watched him since. He has made a U-Turn since he said Hillary was only where she is because Bill fooled around. He got his butt kicked by management, now that he knows which side his bread is buttered on ,he is cosying up to her and her minions. They all deserve each other. They are all jerks….

grik   February 20th, 2008 - 5:08 pm

I guess Chris has something to prove after MSNBC told their staff to kiss the Clinton Campaign’s butt so their debate will take place.

Willywags   February 20th, 2008 - 5:11 pm

I like Chris, but he often gets too enthralled with himself. Last night he was a bully.

Today on Morning Joe, he said history demonstrated that legislative accomplishments shed light on ones future success or failure as President. Really? Abe Lincoln served in Congress for two years and all he really had to show was opposition to the war with Mexico. He won his party’s nod because of his fine speeches in Illinois and Coopers Union.

Ron Reagan had great success in forien policy, what in his record as governor pointed that. Kennedy put forward the first comprehensive civil rights legislation after often siding with southernors in the Senate.

Lately, Chris has been playing hardball with the locals from the heartland and serious suck up with the Clinton folks who brought down his buddy Shuster

sarrowland   February 20th, 2008 - 5:21 pm

Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s mentors were Saul Aulinski and Frank Marshall Davis, respectively. They were both Socialists. The two Democrat candidates are a combination of socialist, fascist and communist,Either of them will take this country to a place it has never been before in short notice.Beware of the great orator.Remember Hitler and Fidel? They were also speakers who could whip up the crowd in a frenzy. It’s gonna be a wild ride with a one-way ticket….

Sarah   February 20th, 2008 - 5:24 pm

SHAME ON YOU, CHRIS MATTHEWS! What a sadistic,

brutal attack on that state senator. That was

not a Hardball program and you went WAY too far.

Thank goodness for Keith who tactfully called

you out and got you to shut up.

Michael   February 20th, 2008 - 5:27 pm

Which line will Barak be added to by History and is it worth the risk??? All appealed to popular movements……

Lenin,Hitler,Mussolini,Mao,Arafat,Khomenei,Akmadinejad,

Adams,Lincoln,Ataturk,Roosevelts,Churchill,Truman,JFK,Nixon(yes),Carter,Reagan,Gorbachov,Clinton

Oh, and can’t we just get entertainment tonight to host the next debate with offsite questions from the “stars” we can’t get enough of and the paparazzi that cover them???

Michael   February 20th, 2008 - 5:42 pm

This reminds me of the Luntz interview with a devout group of Obama cult members. Of the 30 supporters in the room, not one could name a piece of legislation authored or supported by their Messiah Obama. “He is for change!!!” is all they could muster. B. Hussein Obama is a complete fraud and a large portion of the American “sheeple” are buying into him hook, line and sinker. I cannot believe how gullible the mainstream American electorate has become. We are electing a President people, not an American Idol, regardless of what Opera tells you.

Kimo   February 20th, 2008 - 5:46 pm

What else would you expect from Matthews????

Jack   February 20th, 2008 - 5:56 pm

The mentor Hussein Obama refers to as his memtor when he was growing up in Hawaii has been identified as Frank.

Obama’s mentor “Frank” is Frank Marshall Davis, who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

What more needs to be said about lack of media coverage of info voters need to make their decision about who they will vote for.

Laughing@Democrats   February 20th, 2008 - 5:57 pm

Affirmative action does not apply to the Office of the President of the United States. We the people kinda expect the people that want that job to have accomplished something of value other than “was elected to so and so”.

For the first time in my adut life Im proud of Chris Mathews.

fishnuts   February 20th, 2008 - 6:06 pm

Nice job Chris Matthews… finally a direct question to substantiate this “rock star” of a Presidential candidate. I also appreciated not letting the usual “hope, change, inspirational” BS slither away undefined.
I’ve admired many a “rock star” over the 40+ years of my life. Most of them “crash and burn” very hard at some point. Do we really want our country to go through the “crash and burn” when the reality of what this “rock star” really stands for hits us square in the face? He is vague and deceptive for a reason…. even he knows his agenda is not electable.
Same goes for Hillary. What specifically has she accomplished in her “vast experiences” as a US Senator?

[...] folks, THIS MSNBC CLIP is worse.  The moment this unwitting state senator from Texas starts talking, you know where [...]

beverly   February 20th, 2008 - 6:49 pm

ok…..now how about hillarys accomplishments?
neither one of them is worth a &*@% …just empty promises and guarantees to spend our money
on useless programs to furthers their socialistic
agenda.

Stephen   February 20th, 2008 - 7:01 pm

It was a fair question, and cudos to Matthews for not allowing the Obama supporter to slither away – unfortunately, the Clinton supporter undeservedly got a pass. She probably would have answered “Health Care” but of course that was Hillary’s biggest failure. That being said, Obama is not running on his record as a Senator, it has even been said that his lack of experience is his greatest asset because he is clearly not a Washington crony. Obama is running on character and judgement – two essential qualities of a leader. In contrast to Hillary, the way Obama has commandeered his campaign provides ample evidence of both.

Chris Pereira   February 20th, 2008 - 7:01 pm

This is real journalism.

[...] once, Chris Matthews is right. Watch. He basically destroyed the entire Obama campaign with one question. Don’t get me wrong, Americans [...]

Laura   February 20th, 2008 - 7:30 pm

Good job Chris, but I really wish someone cared that Obama voted “present” on BAIPA.

Darwin   February 20th, 2008 - 7:47 pm

I wish Chris would have then asked the Clinton supporter to name one thing SHE has done!!!

Christine   February 20th, 2008 - 7:58 pm

Matthews obviously adores being in the position of humiliating good people. That is not real journalism but is plain old fashioned sensationalist trash.
I supported Hillary a long time ago. However, the Bill and Hillary show changed all that. Both she and Bill shamed us publicly in our country and on the world scene. The last 35 years are not loaded with her accomplishments so much as they are filled with her efforts by hook or by crook at hanging onto Bill’s coattails long enough to make it to a presidential race.
She showed poorly on efforts towards health care by alienating the other party. And she dug herself a deep hole. Do we really need to list all of those issues and projects which she sent down the tube by her divisiveness?
Did any of us really think that she was going to be satisfied with being the “junior senator” from New York?
She should have made an honest woman out of herself a long time ago by quietly separating herself from Bill and then begin to build her own political capital.
She is stuck with “Bill baggage” and will never be able to scrape it from her shoes. And she is not the one to defeat the Republicans in November. They are waiting for her unfortunately.

fishnuts   February 20th, 2008 - 8:13 pm

In response to Pam’s “…we already have a man who is in the White House who was voted in on his likeability, we don’t need another empty suit…” Are you kidding us?
Did I missunderstand the Micheal Moore’s, Rosie O’Donnell’s, Al Gore’s and Jimmy Carter’s of the world? There is ample evidence showing that GW is not the most likeable “empty suit”, nor was he the second time he was elected. If he was so likeable, what about the polls with low popularity numbers?
Hillary is in trouble too, but then again, the numbers don’t really mean much.

bobo   February 20th, 2008 - 8:17 pm

fishnuts, if you give the Moores, O’Donnells, Gores and Carters of the world ANY credibility, then you’re a retard.

Neither Clinton nor Obama have accomplished ANYTHING. They have ZERO credibility with thinking people, because they have ZERO accomplishments.

Obama has NEVER given anyone even a hint about his plan, never mind how he’d accomplish anything. He’s truly an empty suit.

Notice the Obama supporters spend a lot of time whining, but NOT A WORD about their basis for supporting him.

Bah. Losers.

fishnuts   February 20th, 2008 - 8:39 pm

My dear friend Bobo:

I was merely questioning Pam’s “theory of likeability”, and proposing that she look around and see just how many really like GW.
I don’t give the aforementioned people any more credibility than used toilet paper. They think the US is the source of all evils of the world and that our government- controlled and run by them- is the answer.
I agree wholeheartedly, neither of these two Democratic Senators have accomplished anything of value. Obama did give quite an earful last night of his intention to bring more government into our lives. Reagan said, “the scariest thing in the world is being approached by a man who says, I’m from the government and I’m here to solve your problems”.
Ditto Ron, we miss you.

Vince P   February 20th, 2008 - 8:56 pm

Another little known fact about Obama is that only ONE of his GREAT-grand-parents was ethnically black. On his dad’s side, all the other great-grandparents were Arab.

Obama is
50% White
43% Arab
7% Black

James   February 20th, 2008 - 9:02 pm

Doesn’t matter. I won’t be voting for either of them.

Jason X   February 20th, 2008 - 9:08 pm

Obama has one major accomplishment. He is both a socialist and communist. Must be exhausting.

Sherry   February 20th, 2008 - 9:13 pm

Why is this “BRUTAL”?

It is an honest question/request that I have heard of guests and focus groups on more than a few news shows that goes without answer. I watched a moderator ask that same question of 30 Obama supporters in a focus group, one after another, and not ONE could answer the question. NOT ONE!

He was very civil in his questioning…Firm, yes. Insistent, yes. Brutal? Absolutely not.

Jeb   February 20th, 2008 - 9:35 pm

Obama was able to buy a million dollar home on the south side of Chicago for a $1. That is a pretty big acomplishment. If I had Chicago Dem Machine friends like Resko giving me things for free I would demand the same for the rest of the world since I never earned a dime on my own.

Mr. Rick   February 20th, 2008 - 9:43 pm

It’s quite easy for a television host to demand an answer immediately and stridently when he realizes the guest might not be prepared to answer that particular question.

Like a shark sensing blood in the water, Chris Matthews immediately savages the guest. The guest tries to answer why he supports Obama only to be harrased into looking silly.

Perhaps he was trying to say that we need a charismatic leader who can say more than three words and use words with more than one sylable without embarrasing all Americans with his stupidity, as our present “leader” can’t seem to do.

Perhaps as a leader Obama will be able to get concensus on issues from the legislature and thus create a real working government.

Obama may be able to relate to foriegn leaders to better the world rather than just kissing Saudi Shieks and feeling good about traveling in Africa, because the people there have no clue what King George is about, and thus believe Shrub’s promises.

tom   February 20th, 2008 - 9:54 pm

Man that just about sums up Husseins koolaid drinking cult zoombies.I saw on one show where a moderator asked that same question and the quest said “hes Black”The moderator said “thats an accomplishment?”Too funny. The more the world learns about Obama and his whacked out white hating Church and pastor the more theyll be shocked. All flash/no substance.

lorenzo sonobuono   February 20th, 2008 - 10:19 pm

I couldn’t understand Mtthews through all that spit coming out of his mouth. But I think he asked for Obama’s accomplishments. The only answer necessary is HOPE.

Natasha - California   February 20th, 2008 - 10:22 pm

I think the public needs to really take a look at Obama and what his world-view is. You can tell by the people he models himself after and says are his mentors. His Pastor, the controversial racist so-called christian, Rev. Jeremiah Wright who says “White American got what it deserved in 9/11″ and his mentor “Frank” who he wrote about in his autobiography…who is a communist once paid by Russia.
Yeah, Obama’s a great speaker, but if he becomes president, America will pay the price for his world-view.

Jim   February 20th, 2008 - 10:26 pm

This was kind of a cheap shot by Chris Matthews who was trying to overcorrect. This poor Obama supporter was ambushed and was the victim. The Clinton’s had put a lot of pressure on MSNBC, and Matthews, who I liked and watched, showed that he caved easily. I didn’t like it an don’t respect Matthews for it.

JKC   February 20th, 2008 - 10:42 pm

Although I dislike Chris”NO BALLS” Matthews, I did enjoy him making Kirk Watson look like a fool, which he is.

Obama has no accomplishments, period. Being elected does not count as one. He can only give a good speech.

The Emperor wars no clothes!!!!

Derick626   February 20th, 2008 - 10:54 pm

I found it interesting how the black female congress woman from Ohio(?) was allowed to ramble uninterrupted on her “opinion” of Sen. Clinton and the white male congress man from Texas(?) was required to provide only specific legislative achievements for Sen. Obama. As a black man, it was transparent what was taking place. It is obvious to me that Mathews supports Clinton. Can you imagine that same exchange taking place with the black congress woman supporting Obama? By placing a “white face” on Obama, the actual visual of what Mathews was doing was avoided. I am a not a democrat so neither one are my choice but I can recognize fake balance and blind-sided attacks.

bbinsf   February 20th, 2008 - 11:01 pm

That liberal Texas senator meat puppet looked like a buthead. He probably thought he would be getting the usual softball lib questions. Humiliation!

Ant Minnie   February 20th, 2008 - 11:47 pm

Kirk Watson is a bore. He is a past mayor of my city, Austin, Texas. During his mayoral reign he was an embarrassment to most thinking persons. Except, of course, Watson was a favorite of the folks involved with “special interest” agendas whom he chose to pander to. He was big on “deals”, including some enormous real estate deals that ended up costing the city and tax payers mucho dinero. Unfortunately he has managed to get elected to the Texas senate, via his democrat devotees. He has proven himself to be dedicated to party politics and one of the all time, biggest opportunist ever elected to public office. This national exposure on television, showing his dumfounded, and pathetically “lost” reaction to Chris Matthew’s questions were quite telling. Watson is greatly prone to shameless cliches and contrivances. Frightening to think that his mindless devotion to the “hot-ticket” candidate, may be representative of many of Obama’s growing flock. Or, perhaps Watson is more accurately representative of our mindless politicians- Always dressed up and ready for more “face time” and attentions from the cameras of mass media, but dramatically lacking in genuinely thoughtful substance.

P.S. I once found Chris Matthews to offer some interesting points of view. However over the last several years I have increasingly found his “TV” personality to be highly offensive and tiresome. There is a difference between playing “hard ball” and being obnoxious and pandering to your own biased ideas. So it is with great pleasure that I happen to find this gem of an interview on the internet tonight. And I must say, noting my own prejudice, that I loved seeing Kirk Watson speechlessly gasping and so nakedly exposed!

ObamaMyFatherFigure   February 20th, 2008 - 11:55 pm

This is very cruel, intolerant, and rude.

Obama will save us and fix our collective soul. No more “terrorism”, no more global warming, no more war, no more need for the military, no more poverty, free health care, no more hunger, no more homelessness, jobs for all, retirement funding for all.

WE NEED OBAMA! He promised he would take care of us!

Chris   February 21st, 2008 - 1:17 am

I think both of them are a joke but why didn’t Matthews ask the Hillary supporter to name some of her legislative accomplishments?
Aside from having a few post offices named, what the heck has she really done as Senator?

HJM   February 21st, 2008 - 1:20 am

Matthews did exactly what he had to do. He asked a question and wanted the answer to it, not some politician speak. Very O’Reilly of him.

BANE   February 21st, 2008 - 1:58 am

obama supporters cannot stand ANY criticism of their candidate furthermore many do not care about his stances on anything beyond being black , sad but true. i asked 3 black folks i work with why they are supporting B. Hussein Obama , they all said because it’s time a black man was in the white house….

Why does B. Hussein Obama call himself African American and make no reference at all to being raised by his white grandmother ? Alsmost seems like he thinks his caucasian heritage is something to be ashamed of….why can people only be prideful of their race if they are BLACK ? wake up Obama supporters , you’re all so transparent. Just admit your bias !! Just admit your racist “We need a black president !” views !!!

Garrett   February 21st, 2008 - 2:26 am

Barack Accomplishments?

How about the fact that while Bush and Co. and running around acting like no one could have predicted the Iraq civil war, Barack predicted it in 2002, in a interview that you can youtube. This was a year before the Iraq war EVEN BEGAN.

How about the fact that his campaign does not take ANY money from lobbyists? Hilary and McCain’s campaigns DO. In fact, Barack is looking to become the first presidental nominee to have over 1,000,000 different donors; all of them just regular people.

How about the fact that no only does he write his own speechs, but they are BRILLIANT, proving that the guy is sharp as a razor blade.

Should I go on?

libsukbad   February 21st, 2008 - 3:17 am

Garrett, Obama does NOT write his own speeches. This stupid country probably will elect this empty suit and could ruin us forever, because of a bunch of college aged liberal-indoctrinated dolts (I can’t call them educated, they’re too stupid) who spend most of their time salivating over such “important” things such as mtv crap, reality crap, American idol crap. I only “hope” that China takes us over before the islamofascists, at least China has economic free markets, they don’t even give a damn about the global warming hoax. At least they are smart enough to realize from thousands of miles away what a fraud algore is.

Ian   February 21st, 2008 - 4:11 am

“Accomplages?” 2:32

Tony Pistone   February 21st, 2008 - 4:14 am

Here’s a question…who really cares what Chris Matthews can or can’t answer? Matthews may be a liberal chump and a shill for Hillary, but his job is to ask questions, not answer them.

These criticisms about Matthews are an attempt to deflect attention from the far more serious issue: one of Obama’s vocal supporters and fellow Congressman could not name anything Obama has accomplished. As other people have demonstrated, this is a problem many of Obama’s supporters have…they can’t tell you anything he’s ever accomplished.

Matthews was right, Obama is an empty suit, being funded by crooks, foreign money and ”america” hating liberals. He is hot air, nothing more. Obama has shades of Hitler, scary man! Irresponsible Americans are next ”Nazis”?

There was once another “leader” who “inspired”. His name was Adolf Hitler. And for those that don’t know, Hitler had a number of economic ideas which he shares with Obama. Look before you leap. Obama has nothing to offer. And for people who people believe in nothing, they will aceept anything.

So Obama inspires voters for change. So did Adolph Hitler in Germany during their time of need for change and look what it got them.
