Rule #1 when dealing with the Clintons: “Don’t believe anything until it has been denied.”
Clintons are mad about this? It must be true. She is being pimped out.
Dave in NorcalFebruary 8th, 2008 - 3:22 pm
I loathe Hillary and Bill as political figures. They simply represent ideas I think are bad for the country.
Chelsea strikes me as a very well put together young woman. Always seems to conduct herself with grace. Her parents, I am sure, are very proud of her.
If she works on her MOTHER’S campaign…what kind of clown could possibly criticize her for THAT?
I would like that guy excommunicated from conservatism.
El GrandeFebruary 8th, 2008 - 3:42 pm
The truth hurts. The Clintons (Chelsea included) will stop at nothing to get back into the white house. They are all without morals, and are motivated by pure greed and avarice.
CrimeaRiverFebruary 8th, 2008 - 3:44 pm
Unbelievable.
Bill Clinton PHYSICALLY WH0RES around on her, but she blows that off as if it’s nothing. Then some hack accuses her of “pimping” out Chelsea (which, frankly, is true) and she throws a tantrum.
Obama must be having the time of his life watching his final Dem opponent go down in flames.
PTFebruary 8th, 2008 - 3:45 pm
Yes, Bill and Hillary are both shameless liars.
But I still plan on voting for Hillary … it’s the only way to stop Obama and get McCain elected.
Garnet SpyFebruary 8th, 2008 - 3:58 pm
Since when is MSNBC part of the “vast right wing conspiracy?”
louFebruary 8th, 2008 - 4:03 pm
like huckabe says when their kicking you in the rear it means your in front go Mrs. Clinton
eagle35February 8th, 2008 - 4:04 pm
When Bill and Billary apologize to Monica, Katheen Wiley, Paula Jones and the rest of the females they tried to destroy just because they embarrassed them then MSNBC should apologized. The Clinton’s selected outrage is astonishing!!!
Erikiq0February 8th, 2008 - 4:33 pm
What a pathetic lot the Clinton’s are…
rider237February 8th, 2008 - 4:59 pm
i wonder, if the same comment had been made about the child of a conservative candidate…would there be such outrage? i bet not. maybe an apology. certainly not a suspension.
in politics, if you put yourself or you child out there, they are a target. if you can’t take it. don’t do it!
DaveFebruary 8th, 2008 - 5:09 pm
You call that “pimpin”,wait till Bill gets back in the whitehouse (I’m afraid it’s inevitable)you aint seen nuthin yet.
RoverFebruary 8th, 2008 - 5:18 pm
Don’t worry Energy, Shuster just got “suspended” buy the NBC president. That means his is fired but they have not had time to fill out all the paperwork yet. Let this be a lesson to those that cross the Clintons!
jamesFebruary 8th, 2008 - 5:33 pm
The Clintons have managed to pimp out every womman thay have come across. So now it’s the daughter’s turn. When your a whore you always dream of your daughter following in your footsteps.
Could it be they are trying to duplicate the outrage over the comments made about Dick Chaney’s daughter last election.
mervFebruary 8th, 2008 - 5:42 pm
you think bill ever “touched” chelsea in an inappropriate way. she is never seen with her father…i mean what about late at night when he couldnt get out of the house to “touch” older woman? she didnt endorse him when he was running for office did she?
ben doverFebruary 8th, 2008 - 5:59 pm
I loved the comment that said that msnbs was part of a vast right wing conspiracy! HA HA! Yea that was rich! msnbc is just a bunch of lib talkin heads, mostly to sub 30’s bunch of know nothing, imature, NO experiance pie in the sky ding-a-lings.

“She acting no different than had her parents been Kennedys.”
Except shes not always super intoxicated and embarassing herself, no she behaves much better than a Kennedy..or a Clinton.
Bye the way its “pimping out” rides wasn’t too bad of a shows title, where was the outrage then. “Pimping out” in the colliquial sense in which he used it was accurate. It means to shamelessly use someone to your own end. Which is clearly the case here.
JoserFebruary 8th, 2008 - 7:48 pm
Chelsea WAS pimped by the dirty duo of politics. Bill looks just like a pimp, and Hillary like the brothel manager. But, alas, Chelsea’s face could stop a clock, coo coo, coo coo. Funny how Chel was off limits from everyone when “Billy the cigar” was in office, now shes everywhere you look- even inside polling places when voting is going on. Gross!
Dave in NorcalFebruary 8th, 2008 - 11:18 pm
ps
Obama should demand an apology from MSNBC on behalf of the Clinton’s. He should refuse to be on their network until it happens.
Excuse me, but after what bill clinton did to the young monica, this is nothing. did he apologize to her, no, he destroyed her.
And, bill clinton tried to sue the restaurant that showed chelsea’s pic as a customer to protect her ‘privacy’. Now, she’s being used by the clintons. Any influence on super delegates is an attempt to ’select’ the next nominee, not ‘elect’ one. hillary says Bush was selected, not elected. She’s doing the same thing, using her daughter. MSNBC should NOT apologize. It’s true!
Its hard to believe the mean spiritedness of most of these comments.
Vod at least has a brain!!! I’m happy that the parents (Hillary and
Bill) are practicing righteous indignation.
It seems some of you could get into counseling for anger management…your holding on to the past. Maybe its just your
primal misogynist selves. If you want to elevate your thinking try
reading some letters from the Civil War Era. Beautiful writings….
beautiful Americans caught in a horrid war. A time when the average citizen could communicate!!!
Sheldon HaseltineFebruary 9th, 2008 - 12:04 am
Wolfson should be FIRED for such outrageous comment …. if this kind of verbiage is sanctioned by MSNBC you will have lost this viewer, family and a host of friends … this is yet another example of the declining mentality of america – SHAME ON YOU AND GET RID OF THAT MAN ………..

When do we get to start talking about McCain’s kids!
McCain/Lieberman 08
louFebruary 9th, 2008 - 12:08 am

SO SO Sorry …. it was SHUSTER’S name i meant to write and not Wolfson … since writing however, i gather he – Shuster that is – has been suspended ……. well done and DO NOT let him back in, EVEN through the back door and may i extend my apologies to Howard Wolfson ……..
daveFebruary 9th, 2008 - 12:22 am
ok…will “being USED” be a better way of saying it? Yeah, a poor choice of words, but overall meaning was more or less true.
Why the hell is Chelsea Clinton calling Super Delegates anyways? Those elitist snobs should vote according to their constituency or reflect the wishes of the delegate winner.
Anyways…wasn’t Hillary dragging her poor mother around NH to various campaign events?
Lets see how many tears the Clintons can sqeeze out of voters on this one…maybe they should call their delegates Sympathy Delegates. Nothing like voting for someone because you feel sorry for them.
SanzaldoFebruary 9th, 2008 - 12:28 am
Believe me I’m no fan of the Clintons. It will be a cold day in H*** before I vote for the HillBillys. But, ‘pimping out Chelea?’ They aren’t doing anything any other political family would do – foists the rest of the family out to stump. I think what Bill did to those women is much worse than this unfortunate comment, but it had nothing to do with Chelsea. She acting no dfferent than had her parents been Kennedys.
RickFebruary 9th, 2008 - 12:39 am
But she IS being “pimped out”. Maybe not for cash, but certainly for votes. No different than some welfare queen pimping out her daughter for drugs. What’s the big deal. Call a spade a spade.

Before you accept western pandering to Islam, consider this:
Islam is b-astardized religion, that claims a shared lineage with Judaism through
Gabrial, Abraham and the God of Abraham.
In reality it has its roots in the worship by ancieant Arabs and Egyptians of the
pagan Moongod Allah.
Islam abopted certains tennants of Judaism and Chritianity in order to assimilate and
control the people of Arab conqured countries.
Modern Muslims deny this, but it can be proved archaeologically and through ancient

Lou,
I can tell you’re a Democrat. You spelled the contraction of ” you are ” with ” your ” when it is supposed to be spelled ” you’re .”
Democrats want to distribute my hard-earned money to stupid people who don’t have good jobs be because they want the government to take care of them. I can tell why you want the Democrats to win.
PepeFebruary 9th, 2008 - 4:27 am
Yet another example, for the bizillionth time, of supposed outrage by the white trash clintons. It is “outrageous” only because it serves their purpose, and only because it serves their purpose.
Is she helping her mother – of course she is. Is it a tacky comment – of course it is. Is it worth getting upset about – only if it advances your cause. Remember, with the clintons the ends justifies the means.
P.S. If this about a Republican, especially a Bush, it would not even make the news.
SamFebruary 9th, 2008 - 4:43 am
I’m no fan of Hilary, but it’s ridiculous to jump on her or her child for this. Lots of adult children help out their parents who are running for office. Chelsea is on her own. She doesn’t have to do anything for her parents if she doesn’t want to. There are current examples — I won’t mention names, the candidate has dropped out — of adult children who aren’t supporting their parent’s quest for office. In general, that’s probably a negative. But for a child to help a parent has to be a plus. And I’m someone who would never vote for Hilary.
SoCal PatriotFebruary 9th, 2008 - 5:09 am
Ice-T couldn’t pimp that ugly wench fo nothin! What an ugly, overpaid brat.
VodFebruary 9th, 2008 - 5:50 am
Sorry, but maybe some of you don’t know what “pimp means, so you are unaware that the boradcaster was suggesting the daughter was being used like a prostitute.
Trust me on this: had anyone suggested JFK or Reagan was pimping out their daughters, each of them would loosened the commentators teeth.
Those of you who can’t disengage your disdain for Bill or Hillary long enough to take affron at this, are either too juvenile or lacking enough morality to understand it.
Trust me: if this does not offend you, then you are more messed up than them: they are putting on an act, you aren’t.
MikeFebruary 9th, 2008 - 6:49 am
Big deal, how many rude comments were made about President Bush by the Clintons and the Dems and the media and the left. If you can’t take the hits, don’t step up to the plate.
TimFebruary 9th, 2008 - 7:44 am
The temerity of MSNBC! Don’t they realize this is only allowed with the Bush twins or Cheney’s daughter?
Norcal GFebruary 9th, 2008 - 8:56 am
Bill Clinton-Womanizer, cokehead, drunk, liar, organized international criminal, pimp.
Hillary Clinton-Weak, conniving, contrived, enabler, untrustworthy, socialist, marxist, liar, pimp.

This is exactly what you get with the clintons and the entire dem party and the looney left,if you speak out and tell the truth or oppose them in any way,you have to be silenced. This party and its candidates are more like the gulag and nazi’s then even some of them were.Shame on msnbc for caving, just to please this witch.Do we need 4 or 8 years of this again after the first clinton reign of terror, silencing the press, giving away american jobs,ie nafta..gatt,selling out our national security to islam-rads and allowing them to train to kill americans on our own soil for 5 years??WAKE UP you mind-numbed imbeciles on the left and cast a vote that stands for freedom not tyranny, isn’t that what you have been preaching to us about for the last 8 years.First they attack fox ,now msnbc and most of the other networks went along with it because it gave them favor in the eyes of the party elite. Now the chicken has come home to roost, whats next. The fact that hillary thought she had the power to shut them down tells you everything you need to know about how they discern truth and how they wanted it painted, freedom be damned.
DaisyFebruary 9th, 2008 - 11:01 am
Shuster’s comment was vulgar and stupid and therefore, inappropriate. If the man can’t figure out how to express himself more intelligently, he needs to resign from his public position as self-elected rep. of Conservatism. Real Conservatives ought to demand his (and other blow hards like him) resignation. The Neo-cons can go back to world wrestling as entertainment, or, take some solid anger management classes and, while they’re at it, read up on what the Conservative movement is all about. National Review would be a good starting point.
I strongly object to Conservatism being hijacked by salaried vulgarian hacks like Shuster et al. They do not belong in the same company as Abraham Lincoln, William Buckley, Ronald Reagan – to name just three.
raymondoFebruary 9th, 2008 - 11:49 am
If Hillary’s “outraged” at this stupid little comment, what was she when Bill banged Monica? Extremely outraged? Let’s put things into perspective here.
If you are “offended” by a comment like this, you need to toughen up. Sticks and stones…
Glenn FriedmanFebruary 9th, 2008 - 1:35 pm
I see; he wasn’t being pejorative when he said that Chelsea was being pimped out in a weird way. He was being neutral, even praising. And we are so unhip as to not see that this was all just harmless slang.
A tip for Shuster: When making an apology, try not to embed another insult.
Glenn FriedmanFebruary 9th, 2008 - 1:43 pm
Someone wrote “i wonder, if the same comment had been made about the child of a conservative candidate…would there be such outrage? i bet not. maybe an apology. certainly not a suspension.”
The point is that we’ll never know, will we?
georgeFebruary 9th, 2008 - 5:21 pm
That “pimped out” comment was orchestrated well before air-time. In pre broadcast meeting, producers get togetehr and dicuss ways to ‘engage viewers’ and respons’ online. This is all in an effort at driving revenue to the network and cross brand their properties. IE Seeing eye candy Campbell Brown on one network, hopes viewers will follow her to other network owned properties. The more buzz, the greater chance viewers will move across the dial to NBC.
Shuster is a light weight, as is Matthews and Obberman, these guys know how to parse words and direct interviews for greatest max. buz. Look at Matthews style 4 years ago on CNBC, read his columns, now watch him currently, he’s an attack dog, women hatter, troublemaker. If your looking for a target, its the producers and sales departments that should be excoriated.
BrianFebruary 9th, 2008 - 6:16 pm
When I saw Chels being trotted out with her spruced up looks my reaction wasn’t “pimping” but close to it, wit the Clinton’s it is so obvious versus other candidate’s kids who seem to be there without the emotional angle.
If Obama doesn’t prevail, I’m McCain all the way.
RyanFebruary 9th, 2008 - 6:56 pm
Shuster’s comment was out of line, no question. While his point was fair, the language he used was inappropriate.
Of bigger note in this story is Hillary’s supposed outrage. In a letter written to NBC president, Steve Capus, Hillary argues: “I would urge you to look at the pattern of behavior on your network that seems to repeatedly lead to this sort of degrading language.”
Perhaps this line isn’t striking to anybody else, but what it says to me is that this whole Chelsea incident is serving as sort of scapegoat for the Hillary campaign to slam MSNBC for its coverage of her.
Hillary has probably been waiting for MSNBC to make a mistake so that she can jump down their throats and threaten to walk out on the MSNBC debate on Feb. 26. After all, she’ll probably get more favorable coverage on a channel like CNN.
