Obama Warns of U.S. ‘Air-Raiding Villages and Killing Civilians’ in Afghanistan

Bookmark and Share

Asked whether he would move U.S. troops out of Iraq to better fight terrorism elsewhere, he brought up Afghanistan and said, "We've got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we're not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous pressure over there."

If ever there was a useful idiot, it has to be Obama, who is managing to make Hillary appear presidential by comparison.

Other than political correctness, Obama’s fabricated relevance as a contender for Hillary to defeat may be the primary reason the press continues to maintain his candidacy on life support.

Every time he makes a statement about foreign policy, Barack is learning- learning he better keep his mouth shut. His “invade Pakistan” comments almost toppled Musharraf. Think about it- a bunch of Islamic lunatics with their own prepackaged, ready to launch nuclear weapons. And his wife Michelle, not to be outdone, came up with a classic quote this week regarding the “is he black enough” question: Mrs Obama angrily decried, “We are messing with the heads of our children.” They should charge admission for this show.

Well looks like he just lost the support of the armed serivce mens’ vote. What a jack ass.

May the good LORD save us from Obama…what an idiot.

Anyone with a sliver of sense and without an agenda can see he was referring to the lack of enough troops in Afghanistan and how this results in combat missions consisting of bombing enemy “sites” from thousands of feet away instead of having ground forces that can go in and be more precise & deliberate with their assaults.
Cheapening the debate by misrepresenting one’s comments serves no one. Sadly it’s seemingly required these days on all sides.

People need to realize that Obama and his wife hate America and also he is a closet Muslim. But 99.9% of Liberals hate America so he fits right in with their beliefs. I say give the Left Coast and the East Coast to the Liberals so they can start their own county. They can call it Liberal Land and tax themselves to death. They can use UN troops and let in all the illegals they want. Their tax rate can be 90% and they can put everyone who doesn’t want to work on welfare. There would be no crimes because anything would go.

David said: Cheapening the debate by misrepresenting one’s comments serves no one………

There is no misrepresentation. Listen to and read the quote. He didn’t say it “would cause” enormous pressure, he said it “was causing”. Meaning, that is what we are doing.

Nice try though… The usual Obama campaign spin… it was taken out of context. No, sorry David, it was not taken out of context. He said what he said, whether you like the facts or not.

Oh, and by the way, I do agree that we need more troops on the ground in Afghanistan.

I just don’t like the Looney Left’s clear contempt for our military personnel.

Research the activities in San Francisco and Oakland, CA if you want proof of my accusation. I would link the news stories, but I do not save those links because it sours my stomach to see the way our troops are treated by the likes of Code Pink and their ilk…

Far Right lunatics’ protesting at troops’ funerals are included in my disgust, also.

AbuBakerSmith   October 3rd, 2008 - 4:33 pm

the reason “more troops” are needed in afghanistahn is because the EU FAILED th provided the PROMISED Troop Levels and FUNDING they agreed to. They were supposed to do things and simply did not, the dutch britd and a scant few others are even doing anything. most are doing nothing or their presence is merely laison offices. this lack of troops is because europe was cowed by threats from Osama BinLaden and did not follow through with their promises. If you are too stupid to believe it do a little research, Obama and McCain neither the MainStreamPress will tell you this truth because they are spineless cowards afreid to hurt some piece of garbage’s feelings

David you lose……put lipstick on a donkey..it’s still a jackass

HWP   October 3rd, 2008 - 7:00 pm

Not only did he say that..he also voted NO “twice” not to fund the military. What do you expect from someone who has no military experience…probaly was never even a boy scout. And to top it all off he didn’t even remember the name of the soldier, who’s bracelet he was wearing the night of the debate. By the way the honorable soldier’s name is David Ryan Jopek
