Obviously a republican. Priceless.

mmm   February 1st, 2008 - 5:38 pm

he said bad words. ow.

Bobo   February 1st, 2008 - 5:47 pm

So what. These things happen in the real world. If you think that it makes him a Republican or a dips*t, then you’re a moron.

Usaq Madik   February 1st, 2008 - 5:49 pm

“Obviously a republican. Priceless.”

Obviously. He’s pissed people are messing with his livelihood and responded strongly. If he were a Democrat he would have whined about it, but ultimately capitulated.

That is what you meant right?

james   February 1st, 2008 - 6:25 pm

How dare he hold people accountable for their actions. He should have been fired for this. Who cares if he is the voice of ESPN. Who cares if he turned down very lucrative offers to stay at ESPN. He yells at people and said mean words.
I’m going to need a valium after watching this video.

OH, the Horror!! The Horror!! Please, hold me.

Rover   February 1st, 2008 - 7:42 pm

Having worked in the “real world” for 30 years…
Everyone has that one day when they just have to let it all go :D

Fun to see “just this one” caught on tape. But everyone understands… He’ll be normal again tomorrow ;-)

But… Yawn…

Texan   February 1st, 2008 - 10:20 pm

Chris needs to hire H. Ledger’s PR firm so that they will strong arm the media from showing their client doing anything untoward.

SKD   February 1st, 2008 - 10:42 pm

I’m sure you’re accomplished at working on your knees, Bobo.

JimAlbertson   February 1st, 2008 - 10:56 pm

and Tom Brady IS Jesus (at least these people think so)

libsukbad   February 1st, 2008 - 11:27 pm

He was obviously telling those unionized libtards how to do their jobs because they couldn’t read the procedure manual for libtard dumasses. I’m surprised they weren’t all fired for being stupid.

Yelena   February 2nd, 2008 - 1:17 am

He reminds me of John McCain.

SKD   February 2nd, 2008 - 1:50 am

I can’t imagine the crap the people who are really low on the totem have to take from him. Gofers and assistants could probably tell worse stories than this about him. People who get to a certain level are almost always b*stards, but they always have brownnosers like Bobo to count on.

Skin   February 2nd, 2008 - 2:07 am

Other than miss using the Lord’s name repeatedly, he of course has a point. Although, I have never worked at a studio, I imagine it is a legitimate complaint if people are running around while you are trying to “do a show.” Certainly, not going around the camera, but instead ducking beneath it would be rude and unprofessional, not to mention distracting. Lastly, why do people have a problem with prima-donnas? He he a man of significance to ESPN; has probably worked his way from the grassroots level, and the “workers” that support him could probably learn a thing or two from him. Getting chewed out every now and then is a good thing, and only a Democrat would complain about that.

SKD   February 2nd, 2008 - 2:31 am

So, Skin..what you’re saying is that republicans like to be dominated.

neo   February 2nd, 2008 - 3:13 am

No mike quigly he is a registered democrat, And it’s funny that a flamin lib socalist like yourself always has it wrong!

SKD   February 2nd, 2008 - 3:37 am

Must be a bad time of the month for you, Shadenfreude.

tony   February 2nd, 2008 - 4:12 am

Chris Berman is why we need female newscasters (with big floppy breasts, i may add)

Bobo   February 2nd, 2008 - 4:49 am

SKD, you’ll always be a peon. Go back to your trailer park. You’ll never amount to anything.

Lucy   February 2nd, 2008 - 7:40 am

This is great. Can’t we all relate to moments like this! He had a bad day. Big deal.

Greg Newsom   February 2nd, 2008 - 9:32 am

Is this from six years ago? I suspect we are
being manipulated again by those in the ivory towers
He probably is in a contract dispute with someone
and they released this to pressure him.Welcome to
the Brave New World.

TheConeOfSilence   February 2nd, 2008 - 12:06 pm

Don’t ya just love a kneejerk like Mike Quigley (first post) who quickly whips his tongue out to lie that a crass Berman is Republican. In fact, he’s a registered lapdog Dem and gives 100% donations to them. Here’s proof, you dipstick Donkey.

Gina   February 2nd, 2008 - 2:08 pm

Gosh, I hope he’s Republican. Pointing out someone else’s collossal screw ups that threaten not only his job but the viability of the show is totally appropriate. In most circumstances if you are nice and say, “pretty please can we, with super-special friendly sprinklies on top, not walk under the camera lens or cross in front of the ‘promter during my segment.” No one will feel like they have done anything wrong and it will happen again. Media is VERY high pressure and talent gets all the money, but they get fired first if the show does poorly or if management thinks they appear ill-at-ease on camera. No one should distract talent during a segment.

squabbler   February 2nd, 2008 - 3:08 pm

A studio is a busy place. People run around. This guy should be singing arias in a frilly skirt. What a prima donna!

mIKEY   February 2nd, 2008 - 4:14 pm

Hey…. I’d be pi$$ed also !

mIKEY   February 2nd, 2008 - 4:16 pm

Obviously he’s a Democrat like John McCain….
errr… he’s not a Democrat? Oh, that’s right. He claims to be a Republican. Well Hells Bells … Go Figure ! :>)
