Better line up the GOP for this one!

Whatwhatwhat   June 24th, 2009 - 3:40 pm

Oh yeah. That’ll work. The women are lining up for this guy as we speak. LOL!

Ted Haggard said it worked for him too but he had to repeat it 3 times a day.

What do they call this? H@m@-no-mo’?

Timuchin   June 24th, 2009 - 4:38 pm

Google “gay love spells”. These spells work; I have had to cast out these spells many times.

But those are not the only reason for homosex. People with Asperger’s syndrome are not accepted by normal society, but they are accepted in the gay community — at a terrible price.

Boys that were frequently incested by a male relative are given a homosexual orientation.

Paul   June 24th, 2009 - 4:49 pm

The kid’s fake writhing was obviously to play along with the nonsense.

This ridiculous voodoo ritual will of course be attributed by the media to “straight Christians”.

dukas   June 24th, 2009 - 5:14 pm

I thought it a little weird, but if it works so what. The weirdest part was the homosexual enabler saying, “This killed his soul.” Huh? What does she portend to know about souls?

Augustine   June 24th, 2009 - 5:28 pm

This’ll really get the Sodomites in a tizzy.

GDS   June 24th, 2009 - 5:58 pm

Hey Paul, Try reading the Bible. Casting out demons and sickness is in there. All Christians are to to such things as Christ did. I have seen people healed right before my eyes. Stop with the Christian hate. Voodoo is Satanic not Christian.

momofthree   June 24th, 2009 - 6:13 pm

I saw nothing wrong in the video. The kid was brave to admit that he has a problem and sought out deliverance. By the looks of the exorcism you can clearly see the evil spirit of homosexuality was trying to resist its expulsion. Read Matt. 17:14-18 in the bible about Jesus delivering a boy from an evil spirit.

Do they take private appointments for Republican Senators? I am NOT gay…but I’m just asking.

Barney Frank   June 24th, 2009 - 10:31 pm

They need to do this to Perez Hilton! Out deeemon! Out unclean spirit!

Robert   June 24th, 2009 - 10:36 pm

Why is nobody asking if this worked to rid the kid of homosexuality? Do they not want to know?

William   June 24th, 2009 - 11:13 pm

I’m not surprised at the outrage. I’m sure (today) if a healer spits on the ground, makes clay, and put it into a blind person’s eye will get arrested…wait a minute! Jesus did that when He healed a blind man. During these days and time they would even lock up the Son of God so, I’m not surprised if there is outrage about Christians casting out a homosexual demon. Shows how little some people know about the bible and why we Christians believe the way we do. Hate the sin but, not the person. Love you all.

John   June 24th, 2009 - 11:36 pm

It’s about time….

Bill   June 25th, 2009 - 1:23 am

I agree with William’s comment, this is nothing unusual for Christians and Christ’s Church. We should be exercising our authority over the devil in more areas than just this one but nevertheless, it is Scripturally sound.
We will always love the sinner but hate the sin.
Bill

Paulita   June 25th, 2009 - 1:42 am

First of all, this guy went there asking for help. I know it’s a threat to people who make their living off of “helping homosexuals” to accept their lot. There’s no abuse going on. He’s laying on the floor, and I’m sorry, when you’re wrestling with demonic forces, people do throw up & writhe. It should not have been taped because other people could be possessed.
There’s a passage in the Bible about a madman who lived in a cemetery that would cut & abuse himself & Jesus casts out demons from him. The city, seeing the man in his right mind and healed get scared & ask Jesus to leave! That’s prety much how we’ve become in America. A man cannot serve two masters & I guess the possessed guy would be real popular now in the vampire culture.

ewem   June 25th, 2009 - 3:29 am

It’s a free country, God Bless them. If you don’t like their church services, start your own church. Jesus cast out demons. If you don’t like that part of the Jesus story, you won’t like Jesus, who said “None comes to the Father except through me”
As for homosexual urges being bad, the young man believed so and wanted them out. Who has the right to tell him he cannot try. This congregation agreed to help the young man fight what possessed him.

tanya   June 25th, 2009 - 6:18 am

The people who don’t believe in God these days, therefore don’t believe in the existence of evil or the devil. Every perverse act has the evil one at work.

Pedro   June 25th, 2009 - 7:51 am

Luke 8: 26-39
“26They sailed to the region of the Gerasenes,[b] which is across the lake from Galilee. 27When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs. 28When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torture me!” 29For Jesus had commanded the evil[c] spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.

30Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”

“Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. 31And they begged him repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.

32A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them, and he gave them permission. 33When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.

34When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, 35and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 36Those who had seen it told the people how the demon-possessed man had been cured. 37Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave them, because they were overcome with fear. So he got into the boat and left.

38The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39″Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.

The power of the Holy Spirit can work miracles. To those of you who are not familiar with Pentecostle worship, this may look extreme. Don’t be so afraid of what you are ignorant of..Don’t let fear guide you. Everything on this video is done in love, and the goal is to liberate te young man, obviously he is seeking true freedom, or we would not be in the church, he was not forced to do anything, besides on our own nothing can be done….
Holy Spirit rain down on me!

What does the young man say? God will always confound the wisdom of the wise. If their is any damage to the young man’s psyche, it was done by the news media. The fact is, this guy wants to be set free from this destructive lifestyle. Every person has a predisposition towards certain behaviors. Society pushes a great lie onto the youth that homosexuality is just normal. Well, if so, lets all go that way right now, and see what happens to our world population. God loves each person just the way they are, but his will for each persons life is that they be changed to his likeness. The frustration for homosexuals and those trapped in all manner of sin is they can not break the yoke by their own strength. Only by submitting ourselves and seeking and worshiping Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth are the yokes of bondage broken from our lives. This young man wants to be made free by that which has entrapped him in a life of destruction. I pray he has been set free, but we do not hear from him. I will say this–it does not take 20 minutes of learned Pentecostal behavior to deliver a person from sin or sickness. If a person has faith that they can be healed, all I have to do is say the word if I am acting in the will of God. God hears us when we pray in his will, not necessarily when we hoot and holler. That is not to say that there will not be times when I may be led to do that. I pray this young man is delivered and comes into the abundant life of Jesus Christ.

And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. (Acts 14:8-10)

amyb   June 25th, 2009 - 9:58 am

What is the big deal? I agree with Dukas, I am not religious AT ALL, but if the kid is not happy being gay he has a right to ask for help. How come liberals think homosexuality needs so much protection? Some “straight” ppl aren’t happy being living straight so they “come OUT”, why can’t an unhappy gay person try to go straight if they want to?

Kevin   June 25th, 2009 - 10:13 am

I have read some of your posts and most of you sound like the dumbest people. This video and the idea of ‘casting out homosexual demons’ is absolutely horrific and wrong. I am a straight, married man, but there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. These acts and many of your responses are the reason that I choose not to follow a faith. You pick and choose what you think is right and wrong from the bible. Just because a person is gay does not mean they are dumb, wrong, ignorant or useless. They did not have a choice, they are who they are and there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is with many of you that won’t except their behavior, belief and feelings. Try talking to someone who is gay and learning about the struggles that they have had. It may change your thoughts and views.

Ricky   June 25th, 2009 - 10:16 am

Hey, the youth voluntarily wanted to be free… And with that, HE IS a candidate for liberation. Homosexuality is a spirit that needs to be case out… There’s nothing wrong with this video, and the teen was writhing because the demon didn’t want to get out. They were not punching him or cutting him or choking him. If you see, they’re just touching his forehead…

G@y groups have shown their hate for Christ and the Christian Churches…especially the Roman Catholic Church, for years and in every way they can.Their life style is dangerous…perverted,un-natural,and destructive to them and all they indoctrinate…like the 6 year olds in schools and the children their couples have.
It has NOT be proven that there is a G@y gene…no matter how they lie about there being one. If they have this temptation they MUST resist.Christ can cure them of this lifestyle. ..that’s a fact…it’s happened many times…but them and their cohorts in the Liberal Media and Hollywood will never admit that fact…they tear down anyone who disagrees with them…Look at P.Hilton and all his followers and what they did to Miss California.
This is a true Evil…as is all Abortions is a true Evil. The “Evil One” who tempted Jesus himself…is within these people. So, having an exorcism, which works, is a direct threat to their lifestyle..That’s why this woman was appalled. They didn’t kill his soul…They brought back to life.

Taya   June 25th, 2009 - 11:18 am

This is merely a deliverance of what this boy must have thought was a demon. It’s common in a lot of pentecostal religions and can not be performed unless the recipient asks for believers to lay hands on him. Those of you who do not understand the Bible would not know that Jesus Himself cast out many demons. The writhing and throwing up is supposed to be the demon coming out of the person. I think the issue here is that gays do not think there homosexuality is a sin at all. It would especially be hard to think it would be caused by a demon. This particular church would probably try to deliver an alcoholic or drug addict in the same way. Most Christians think homosexuality is a sin like any other sin. Some denominations put a heavier penalty on the sin of homosexuality. This in itself is not Biblical as God sees all sin as the same. For instance murder is the same as lying in God’s eyes. A sin is a sin. In the long run the boy was not physically harmed. His reaction may have been real or faked. If he was demon possessed the demon does not want to leave the individual so they fight to stay in the person. That causes all the retching and throwing up. The church did nothing wrong. They merely were casting out a demon according to their faith. But again, I don’t expect any of you to understand it.

In Agreement   June 25th, 2009 - 11:41 am

Three cheers for this church.

Jay Brown   June 25th, 2009 - 11:43 am

Why is this such a shock? The church is casting out demons of homosexuality? It happens all the time. I know that gay groups want something to be accepted as normal when it has never been accepted as normal since the creation of man. After all every homosexual group will NEVER tell you how they propogate their species if they were born that way. They also know that if they were born that way then they would be along side the pro-life groups against abortion. After all why would they want a woman to abort a gay baby? Sounds like the ultimate hate crime. They are just angry that young men and women are being set free from the sin of homosexuality. It has been unnatural and sinful. Has been and always will be. Gay groups will never change the church on this issue. True Christians will never accept such deception and delusion.

Don   June 25th, 2009 - 12:02 pm

Xianity is a mental disorder.

These people should be arrested for assault on a minor. Pentecostals are dangerous, deranged individuals. The only thing missing was a snake handler.

Jon   June 25th, 2009 - 12:24 pm

So, where are all the gay supporters? One word about traditional marriage and the boards light up. Display evidence of the truth and mums the word! C’mon, a scan of the last fifty post and one person supported a right to live gay and he was straight. Rebuke the devil and he will flee:)

timmbo   June 25th, 2009 - 12:33 pm

Are these people really that ignorant? I mean seriously, do they actually think that yelling at some kid is going to make him straight? I find it funny that our society is so threatened by gay people. I myself am straight, but dont care one way or another what two other people do with each other. Its none of my business. If it makes them happy, then so be it. Who cares!

NDM   June 25th, 2009 - 1:48 pm

“Google “gay love spells”. These spells work; I have had to cast out these spells many times.”

Well of course they work! I cast spells all the time and that’s why I have won the lottery so many times. But it only works if I’m riding my flying unicorn.

“But those are not the only reason for homosex. People with Asperger’s syndrome are not accepted by normal society, but they are accepted in the gay community — at a terrible price.”

Um, Asperger’s patients are accepted by plenty of people, regardless of sexual orientation. The idea that gays are somehow open to Asperger patients in some nefarious way is simply idiotic.

“Boys that were frequently incested by a male relative are given a homosexual orientation.”

Incested? Do you know a spell for good grammar? Is there a demon for idiocy?

God gave you a brain-don’t insult God by refusing to use it. This isn’t the Bronze Age, folks; time to grow up and stop being superstitious.

ANDERSON COOPER….. ha ha ha…. your “panel of experts” is just what I would have expected….. ha ha ha

Are people here upset because this guy is a minor (16) or because the “exorcism” was done? I dare say a large number of people who are upset wouldn’t think twice if he were being “exorcised (?)” of his love for capitalism or conservatism. If someone asks for help then what is wrong trying as long as they know what they are getting into and it is not illegal? Did they ask for some type of compensation?

Marty Kay Zee   June 25th, 2009 - 2:24 pm

You may have the right to believe any old thing you like, but when you try to bring this brand of thinking to political leadership, you cross the line into trying to institutionalize superstition. This is the threat of the American ayatollahs of the Christian right that we must guard against.

So the bible has references to the casting out of demons? The same people who wrote the bible also believed the world was flat and that alchemy explained the physical world. Truth is, according to my extensive study of medical knowledge of the era, we just need to purge the homosexuals of their yellow bile to cure them.

Ted   June 25th, 2009 - 6:10 pm

to those who say this was wrong, lets try to remember that he went to the church. he is not held down, tied up or being restrained and prevented from leaving in any way. my guess is he has been having urges and desires he cant explain, and told a loved one about it who told him to seek help from the church. ultimately, it is his decision to have this exorcism, and whether the liberals who say there is nothing wrong with homosexuality are right or the extremist who say homosexuality is a the greatest sin are right is completely irrelevant. the young man felt something was drastically wrong with him, and sought what help he felt comfortable with. period, end of story.

ya never know…psychologically, it could be just what he needs..the heartfelt belief that jesus has driven the demon from his soul. we all know the human mind is an incredible device. self doubt / esteem can do wonders and whatever one needs to do to get right by themselves, who are we to criticize.

They’re black so nobody will say too much. If it had been white churchfolk there would be real outrage. This voodoo black flopping around is viewed as a cultural black thing and as such can’t really be criticized by the gay community much unless they want to be called racists!

Oldbluesboy   June 25th, 2009 - 10:07 pm

On the other hand, exorcism would have more impact. Or, possibly a lobotomy. Whatever works.

Adam   June 25th, 2009 - 11:24 pm

Homosexuality may either be demonic in origin, or a learned behavior from childhood experiences (molestation, abuse, low self esteem), or from plain and simple lust. Homosexuals hate videos like this because “gays” rejoice in their chosen lifestyle. I think more of them ought to go for counseling or prayer – whatever might help – to escape the homosexual lifestyle; just as a pedophile or adulterer should seek help and not willingly remain in their perversion.

u3i   June 25th, 2009 - 11:37 pm

THE DEVIL IS ALIVE AND WELL. THE YOUNG MAN’S soul was not “murdered”.
this True Colors chick thinks his soul has been murdered? Excusse me, we are all walking dead people without JESUS Chris. Exorcism was a huge part of Jesus’ ministry, and the world and worldly unsaved people don’t understand. It looks ugly… it is fricking ugly…. but exorcism is NORMAL PART OF A PERSON’S LIFE THAT IS TRULY SEEKING THE LORD. and this YOUNG MAN APPARENTLY WAS SEEKING RELIEF FROM THE SPIRIT OF HOMOSEXUALITY. PEOPLE!!!! LOOK UP DEMONS ONLINE!!! LOOK UP DELIVERANCE!!!! SOON CHURCHES WON’T BE ABLE TO EVEN PRAY FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS, when they want it!

No free speech huh moderator? I forgot this is the New Amerika. Someone offended? Gooooood.

What’s wrong with a dude’s a$s hole? huh? It’s a beautiful thing that was placed upon the Earth by Darwin. Ahhhhh the pleasant fragrant smell of a MAN’S a$s hole, such a beautiful flower, like a morning dove, so pure & full of life, a life-giving hole that produces so much stability here on Earth, the family unit, the guiding morale principles, the nurturing bond that we all share. Ahhh fruit that the bond between two men produces, such a lovely smell that i could only imagine. Now if only the gaping 0 passes his gaycare package for all.

jack pollack   June 26th, 2009 - 2:34 am

The comment that stuck with me was the activist who said that they had murdered his soul. Imagine if you are the kid and you hear this – not only are you wrestling with your sexual identity, but you are now soulless. Way to help the kid lady. I thought you ran an organization to help youth deal with complex identity issues.

Charles Darwin   June 26th, 2009 - 6:25 pm

Looks like Perez Hilton

KHMA   July 1st, 2009 - 7:13 am

Since the world does not believe Bible, it is an affront event to mention certain life-style is unacceptable in the sight of God. I guess the lady who said, “they just murdered his soul” failed to realize that the young man was tormented by his choice, and yes, the propensity driven by a demonic power. I find it ironic that she assumes and used term “soul”, and yet, she failed recognize the meaning of the word. I can see, if she said, they murder his “personality” or “person-hood”. Then, I would grant her that she is a Humanist, but since she used the term “soul”, I’d challenge her to do some digging on the meaning of it. I would refer her to the passage where Jesus used the term “soul” as in “For what does a man profit, if he should gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul?” Matt. 26:16

Anyways, for Christians, it is a grievous and tormenting to our souls to see such an opposition from the world against the truth that our Lord Jesus paid the precious price for it. This kind of things should drive us to pray even more so than ever for the lost: that God may remove the blindness off their eyes…..

Johann   July 7th, 2009 - 4:40 pm

Homosexuality is wrong- yes. But Pentecostalism is just plain stupidity.

Brian   July 13th, 2009 - 11:42 am

America, this is why the rest of the world thinks you are stupid.

Apologies to the 15% or less of US citizens for whom these morons give a bad name.

Its a sad fact that relgions can not simply live and let live. Ofcourse we are left with those that actively spread their lies. For if they did not attempt to spread their influence, they would be selectivly “bred out” over genarations in favour of other religions that do, or better yet, people who value logic and reason of superstition.

This video is a poiniant example of this quote:

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you’d have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”
- Steven Weinberg
