Wow! Sotomayor is sexy in this footage, like porn-star sexy!!!

Other   June 19th, 2009 - 2:26 pm

Still is.

Can't you find something more recent?   June 19th, 2009 - 2:26 pm

I’s a Republican so my math isn’t that good but isn’t that 23 years ago?

CommonSense   June 19th, 2009 - 2:33 pm

WOW! Based on that footage – I can’t believe she felt like she was ever discrimanated against as a woman – I figured she would have been invited to join the boys club.

This woman is stuck in the 60’s – she’s an anachronism like Jessie Jackson.

What does this have to do with her nomination? Majority of the population believes this statement. Furthermore, we have research and footage that supports her claim. Come on you have to do better than the above to deny her nomination. If not, she deserves to be confirmed.

Do remember group dynamics prevail in the Supreme Court as well.

“When a man calls you, and you say you’ve got to work late, or travel here and there, he might think you’re not interested in him.”
Yeah, by the looks of her 23 years ago, I bet she was really in demand on the dating scene. Time has only aggravated what was a fugly women back then.
The link below shows her moonlighting as a spokeswoman for a prominent fruit company.

Anexio   June 19th, 2009 - 2:43 pm

You know, she’s right.

Fortunately this country is not run by old fat white men anymore. We have our first real President since Jimmy Carter and he’s not going to waste a lot of time nominating the same ol’ same ol’.

It’s time for some new blood and it’s time for change.

We all voted for President Obama. Now it’s time to put our trust in the person we choose to lead us.

“We all voted for President Obama. Now it’s time to put our trust in the person we choose(sic) to lead us.”
Anexio,
We did? I thought only 52% voted for this charlatan. BTW, you should think seriously about enrolling in an English As A Second Language course, you imbecile.

Other   June 19th, 2009 - 2:55 pm

I don’t see any spelling or grammatical errors. “Choose” is valid because the present tense is still valid

mary M.   June 19th, 2009 - 3:06 pm

Anexio

Trust is in the people’s vote, not the government. If you look at his voting record, he is no different than [using Anexio's verbiage" " old fat white men". Now your definition of such verbiage eludes me. These men were quintessential thinkers and majority of what they wrote is applicable today. Nonetheless, just because we have a black male orchestrating the strongest nation [at this time] in the land, he deserves no special pass. Our country was built on dissension. Dissension is healthy for any administration. As far as Carter being a real president, the history books and even his books would disagree. He was one of many World leaders faced with problems and settled them with limited forethought.

Obiter Dicta   June 19th, 2009 - 3:08 pm

Anyone who tries to equate the behaviour of male lawyers with the behaviour of ANY other human being, is, I would say, STUPID.

BUT, she thinks she’s smarter than all the rest of us combined.

Who has ever met a wise man or woman who has referred to him/herself as such? The humble never claim to be humble; the wise never never claim to be wise.

@Other

(”Choose” is valid because the present tense is still valid)

If it requires argument it’s likely ungrammatical.

Unfortunately for Anorexio and his limited sense of the arrow of time, the choosing was last November.

Anorexio the Affliction – zero marks
Senator Klit – a pefect score of 100

Other   June 19th, 2009 - 3:54 pm

I have been smited.

Larse   June 19th, 2009 - 3:59 pm

Looks like the right wing nuts are still trying to make a big fight over Sotomayor. Too prove that they are not just a bunch worthless fools nobody cares about anymore. I hope they fight really super hard!! That will just make the crushing defeat of the GOP even sweeter!! The GOP is even burning significant cash over this :D

CommonSense   June 19th, 2009 - 4:10 pm

I’m going to just say “TROLL”
feel free to apply that description to either MR. Sotomayor or Ms. Larse.

Rodger Harris   June 19th, 2009 - 4:33 pm

This woman is terrible – she is a bigot racist and says things that had a white male conservative mentioned the left wing morons in the country would have wanted him, tarred, feathered and run out of town. They always want a double standard for themselves. She is exactly what Obama the fascists pig would be happy to have in our great court. The left wing media got this Obama the traitor to America elected. They pushed this guy morning, noon and night and idiots all came out of the wood work with their hands out and voted for him. Now he is going to bring this country down more by appointing a Judge who is a racist and has a history of it. Anti-white racists are prevalent on the left. She is a terrible choice but just what Hussein Obama wants so he can give our country away.

Hickok   June 19th, 2009 - 4:40 pm

I would have to say this hag’s ex husband is one of the luckiest guys around. Ugly Betty looks like Angelina Jolie compared to her.

Mary M.   June 19th, 2009 - 5:19 pm

Rodger

Please do not say that we the people can do nothing. This administration is scrambling because they no history. The Nation has an election in 2010 and if history is true to experience, many Democratic Senators will lose their positions. For this reason, this is why they are pushing these bills through Congress. However, you have to do your part as a voter, and vote your conscience.

Remember the populous voted and he is our President for four years, give or take some months. Nonetheless, you seem to take the blame away from [c]ongress when you place everything at the President’s feet. We have a check and balance of powers, that’s why we have the three branches. He, the President, can only do what [c]ongress allows him to do [see Jimmy Carter's term in the White House and how his own party turned on him and worked with Republicans].

[c]ongress is not living up to their part, which is clearly stated or implied in the Constitution. However, it is the people with the power. The power of the people is something that our Nation has forgotten: “We the People”. Read the Constitution or better yet, read the Great Rehearsal, or Madison’s and Jefferson’s correspondences to see the agony that went into creating this document. If you seek philosophy, read Locke, Hobbes, Hume, Machiavelli, and I am sure you can name many others.

Again this is why I reiterate it is of the utmost importance to read these, again using Anexio’s verbiage, “dead old white men”. You have to know how government is abusing its powers. The only way to know is to look at history written by these men. Also, we see the struggles they went through when decided these laws. For the people

Carmela41   June 19th, 2009 - 5:30 pm

I’m surprised Soto woman was not in People Magazine’s Most Beautiful people issue.

Foster Brooks   June 19th, 2009 - 6:06 pm

Sotabisc says: “I found men unconsciously discriminate against women.”

She’s flattering herself. Can you imagine waking up sober to that. There’d be nothing “unconscious” about it!!!!

CHRI$TOPHER DODD   June 19th, 2009 - 6:11 pm

She’s got my vote!

And I don’t care what http://www.dumpchrisdodd.com says about me.

Foster Brooks   June 19th, 2009 - 6:17 pm

The guy that married that thing must have been in worse shape than I was here:

Larse   June 19th, 2009 - 6:56 pm

@Rodger Harris

I think you pretty much summed up the right wing attack against Sotomayor… But you forgot to add that she is Latino, sort of like a Mexican…

:D :D :D

Thank You Anexio   June 19th, 2009 - 7:08 pm

Anexio stated, “We have our first real President since Jimmy Carter and he’s not going to waste a lot of time nominating the same ol’ same ol’.”

Thank you for the funniest line I’ve read all day. My sides are still hurting from that laugh. I needed it today, again, thank you.

Davidtoo   June 19th, 2009 - 7:25 pm

this woman is offensive in an unwashed fishy smelley trailer park sort of way.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   June 19th, 2009 - 7:26 pm

Wow…America…this woman’s past just keeps giving and giving!

Much like Bilderberg Bush-Obama’s would if only somebody was brave enough to investigate it!

So now I suppose she wants to be a Supreme Court justice so that she can get even with men?

This woman should never, ever get near the Supreme Court except to be an observer in the gallery!

====================

JUST ANOTHER PATHETIC DAY IN THE DICTATORSHIP OF BARRY HUSSEIN AND HIS HOPES TO GET AN ULTRA-LIBERAL, BIASED WOMAN ON THE HIGHEST COURT IN OUR LAND OVERSEEING THE GOVERNING DOCUMENT OF OUR GREAT NATION…THE CONSTITUTION…IN THE HOPES OF PICKING IT APART PIECE BY PIECE BY PIECE!

Laffing at (L)Arsehole   June 19th, 2009 - 8:52 pm

She looks rather “butch” in that clip but that’s her mind set then and I doubt if it has changed at all!

Republicans need to filibuster if they can or has the “stones” to do it!!

jonra   June 20th, 2009 - 5:52 am

So men discriminate when “unconscious?” Like when knocked out, or passed out, or does being asleep count? Is unconscious (the state of non-consciousness, is suppose) the same as sub-conscious? She didn’t say that, right?… only the headline writer I guess, but not sure, since I’m conscious at the moment.

Hickok   June 20th, 2009 - 8:22 am

Breitbart, spare me the random censorship.

American Libeal   June 20th, 2009 - 5:22 pm

A liberal women racist bigot is alright with the rest of the liberals. She needs to go before she comes.

Bill   June 24th, 2009 - 3:17 pm

I think she means sub-concious since un-concious is the part thats breathing for you and regulating your body temp.Skilled persons can play with both but she is obviously not good at mind control. How does she expect to neuter society and destroy the family if she hasn’t got a clue. With judges like her nobody is going to take their vitamin flouride.
