Iran’s Supreme Leader Declares ‘How Can Vote Rigging Happen?’

The New York Times: In his first public response to days of protests, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, sternly warned opponents Friday to stay off the streets and denied opposition claims that last week’s disputed election was rigged, praising the ballot as an “epic moment that became a historic moment.”

We have to eat u know!!!! And that one dude in Chicago gave us ten bucks a head for doing so!! I now have a nice little house between Father Wright and Father Pfleger and we do the Lord’s work the best we can!!! Can I get a Amen!

It is harder with hand-counted paper ballots. With electronic voting, it is a snap!

Easy. Just say whatever number you want and seal the ballot boxes. Electronic or paper ballot. It doesn’t matter when you have complete control over the reporting of the final numbers.

I’m betting the results are legit though. The largest active voting demographic in Iran is middle aged and very religious. The very same people who created this gov’t in 1979.
The youth sputter and shout but they do not vote in large numbers…sound familiar?

Other – I don’t think the “youth” aren’t voting in Iran, but I think they aren’t 100% for Mousavi, either. America (and Israel) continue to try to manipulate Iran, so that gives a good bump to Ahmadinejad. Bush authorized illegal activity to disrupt their election process – this was reported in the news cycle recently.
