I would venture to say, America, that certificate reveals two things…that he was born in Kenya and his mother was Jewish!

Here again lies another abuse of government. Moreover, until I hear the testimonies of the current and former Federal Reserve Chairmen, I will refrain from commenting. Testifying under oath assures no credibility, Ken Lewis is no exception.
However, I am livid with Lewis because for whatever reason, he chose to disregard the rights of BAC shareholders, me included. Although I am aware that risks are involved with investing, I prefer those risk to be economically driven, see Thomas Sowell’s Basic Economics or Applied Economics. I am even angrier because not enough shareholders voted to oust him as CEO. Nevertheless, I am pleased that we did exercise our right to vote.
Now getting back to the government. Watch out, we the [P]eople will make you rue the day that you failed to hear our voices as a nation. Both republicans, democrats, and independents, we will vote you out and replace you with individuals who have chosen allegiance to the people as opposed to allegiance to the most corrupt place in the world. Yes, I said it; the most corrupt place in the world, Washington D.C., its entities, and its megalopolis. The founding designers of the Constitution forewarned us this “Panopticon.”
Remember, let us not be deceived and not limit our focuses on the obvious scapegoats because Bernanke, Paulson, nor Lewis worked alone. The former and past administration worked conjointly and sought to deceive us, we must hold their feet to the fire. The government acted together, no one party, but all.
Again, I reiterate democrats, republicans, and independents are inseparable since they comprise this fallen government of our time. Do not be deceived by saying I follow this or that party. All of government has chosen to ignore measurable historical data [Wilson's, FDR's and Reagan's experience] and now they have chosen to make decisions and create policies without experience [history]. Yes, our government is imperfect; however, past experiences have shown us how to decrease our Nation’s imperfection. Assess history if you do not agree with my stand.
Again, especially to you “Eileen for Freedom”, both administrations worked together. Do not say this administration or that administration is free of fault. Even the Republicans chose to ignore their heritage and eschew the silent voices of reason.The only difference is that this administration is governing against time. They, as with other students of history, know that the 2010 election is going to diminish their power. With that being said, do not give them a pass regardless of what the “talking heads” are saying [this includes republican, democratic, and alternative media sources since they engender manufacture consent].
They count on the mass to be divided. We will be tested in 2010 and I hope that we as a [P]eople rise together and make congress shake to the core of their being and never forget that we will hold them accountable. So enjoy it while you can [aristocrats] because if history is any indication, we the [P]eople will have the last voice and this time no malaise will mute our actions or thoughts.

Fascism has arrived in America, my friends. Look at the fear in Lewis’ eyes, and his trepidation to even call it what it really is. I believe these financial companies have had the fear of God put into them by this administration – tow the line or you’re next.
Even just today, the plan to limit executive compensation all through the private sector took root. I notice Union bosses were not included in that list.
Mary is right – left, right, and center is not the issue anymore. It’s about WE THE PEOPLE vs. SOCIALIST OLIGARCHY. It’s way beyond who has an R or a D after their names.

Dear Mary M…thank you, first of all, for your enlightening comments!
You, perhaps, do not know of what I believe and have not read any of my comments in the past.
I call this new leader Bilderberg Bush-Obama for a reason…because they are one in the same.
They both work for the Bilderberg Society and have, and are, following their marching orders to usher in the New World Order.
You mentioned Bernanke and the Federal Reserve, are you aware that the Federal Reserve and Bernanke are the financial arm of the Bilderberg?
Just knowing that fact makes me believe what happened with this CEO, and possibly, others.
You need to read this Politico article on the last “secretive” meeting held in Greece just last month and how “our” US Secretary of the Treasury and others of our government went before the Bilderbergs to give them a presentation of where we are in our financial crisis and on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Knowledge is power, you seem to have alot of knowledge on some things, but you need to be made aware of the Bilderbergs and their stranglehold on American politicians and financiers.
That is the beginning of our fight for our freedoms, liberties and sovereignty!
The left likes to call us who believe this conspiracy…as crazies. If it is crazy, why are those in the President’s cabinet, reporting to them?

The worst part of all of this is that we were rushed into it. We were rushed to war. We were rushed to bail out the banks. We are rushed to save the car industry.
Obama is rushing us into socialism under the guise of change. No — you can’t run our health care system into the ground like you have done the banking industry and the railroads and the school systems! The government SUCKS at running anything!
The government didn’t allow the banks to fail because they have always told the banks — we will not let you fail. The government created this monster. This government is not “we the people” it is the political machines, the pollsters, the politicians who are the bait and switchers of our time!

No. 218, but serendipity or design, was Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), whose suspicion of big business is matched only by the libertarian Texas Republican Paul’s suspicion of big government.
“The tremendous grass-roots and bipartisan support in Congress for HR 1207 is an indicator of how mainstream America is fed up with Fed secrecy,†said Paul in a statement. “I look forward to this issue receiving greater public exposure.â€

Now I’m not a fan of the Obama administration, but you all need to realize the merger happened during the Bush administration. If you recall it was all going on during the election. First FREDDIE/FANNIE got bailed, then Bear Sterns, then Lehman Brothers and Merryl Lynch collapsed at the same time and the FEDS only bailed Lehman. So when he says the federal government pressured him to buy out Merryl he means he treasury secretary under Bush.
