High Court Blocks Chrysler Sale to Fiat

AP: Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Monday delayed Chrysler's sale of most of its assets to a group led by Italy's Fiat, but didn't say how long the deal will remain on hold. Ginsburg said in an order that the sale is "stayed pending further order," indicating that the delay may only be temporary. Chrysler LLC has said the sale must close by June 15, or Fiat Group SpA has the option to walk away, leaving the Auburn Hills, Mich., automaker with little option but to liquidate.

I thought we were told that those big evil hedge funds were all evil rich people? You mean to tell me that Big Gubermint has stuck it’s big nasty finger where it doesn’t belong and is pitting union members against union members? How Sad!!!

Harry above has it right!!

Chrysler… I never owned one, but that’s all my dad ever bought. He loved the auto transmission shift buttons on the dash and fins of the Desoto… How many of us tried to switch into reverse at 40MPH and found that they did have that figured out! :D :D

But now, Chrysler is a train wreak that will incinerate everyone and all the money on board.

The Fiat deal deal was a hard tough deal that “might” have saved the brand by burning everyone just enough not to kill them. But if it all gets wound up in the courts and such, the game is all over…
