America…Democracy along with it’s freedoms and liberties is the best of all possiblities of rule.

That is why so many people under dictatorship and oppressive regimes fight so hard to achieve those same values and freedoms!

America has never “sought to impose” these values on the world…we have offered to help free countries under oppression so that they, too, can enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we here in America have always enjoyed. We have never sought to “rule” those countries!

What is his problem? Why does he continually diss America and it’s freedoms and values?

Now that we have gone bankrupt and are in debt to other countries to the tune of trillions of dollars, America will have a much harder time controlling the rest of the world. A few years ago the term “imperial overreach” was heard quite frequently, but it didn’t really mean that much until our whole economy started to really implode.

With our economic collapse, do we really need to get involved in another war or ten to make these military contractors rich? Probably not. But this is America, and we’re crazy for war. Batten down the hatches, there are more funny looking brown people to murder and rape in far-off lands.

Technically, the only thing you can do short of everyone in the U.S. dying somehow, is not doing anything for anyone, that’s the only way you cannot impose your ‘values’ on someone else. You don’t send food, you don’t get presents, and you don’t get the U.N. to write a stern letter of warning. Otherwise, if you want to be one of the leaders of the world…. yes, you have to impose some sort of ‘values’ on some other countries, the same way some try to impose their ‘values’ on us via suicide bombers.

Good point, Alex, but don’t you think we would also try to attack a foreign occupier if troops came into the United States and started telling us who we could do business with, how we should live, and who we could elect? I think we would.

Imagine foreign troops busting in your door in the middle of the night and making everyone get on the ground, maybe disappearing with your wife or your daughter for a little while. What kind of values would really be on display?

Who gave you that new catch-phrase of “Universal Values”, Obama? Was it Axelrod? Soros? Rahm? Did you test “Universal Values” with a liberal group to ensure that it meets their level of sensitivity?
Can you give us an example of a country that exhibits these Universal Values, Obama? N Korea? China? Syria? (Pelosi loves herself some Syria!) Iran?
