Feinstein needs a teleprompter.

Somebody check the back of her Volkswagon Bus (an old 57) but don’t smoke any of her Dubai’s.

With a laser like that, Pelosi can remain in Washington and still have her face lifted from Hollywood.

Dr Moroso   May 30th, 2009 - 11:32 pm

It should be able to reach North Korea. Sorry, Obamallah, I know they are commies over there. And you too comrade Jane Fonda.

Superman   May 30th, 2009 - 11:46 pm

Let’s aim it at the moon and see what happens!!! teeheehee

WHY are both the senators from California so incredibly stupid?

Diane Feinslime could not BEGIN to tell you the difference between fusion and confusion, fission and emission, and the idiot thinks lasers are some form of nuclear power.

And to think- these people are running the entire United States government, deciding your future, allocating trillions of dollars…

“…to create carbon-free energy that is, in effect, efficient and cost….*wait for it*…*wait for it*…acceptable.” Aahhhh, there it is. What a dynamic speaker. Truly inspirational.

Having read the article, and still not sure I believe it, it says the hydrogen particles hit by this laser generated more power than the initial ignition. Fundamentally, it created more energy than it used. If this is in fact the case, and given the hint of it’s laser background, theoretically it could be developed to generate an endless supply of energy. It also appears that it could also be used as a weapon. A laser, capable of instantly frying just about anything, being bounced off of satellites with precision accuracy against a military target. Now if we could just find Bin laden.

All we need now are the sharks.

Did you guys see the bunch of chinese “tourists” all smiling sitting in the audience???

Those “tourists” are so interested in science…
So nice of them…

If they have indeed passed the point where they create more energy than used up in the Fusion process, where are all the international headlines?! It would be the Holy Grail of Big Physics; as revolutionary as Tesla’s Alternating Current lighting up the Chicago Worlds Fair!! Sell your Uranium options. I hope it’s true; but it may be just another stepping stone in a decades long quest.

I’ll settle for giant sea bass.

Dr. Evil: You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have?
Number Two: Sea Bass.
Dr. Evil: [pause] Right.
Number Two: They’re mutated sea bass.
Dr. Evil: Are they ill tempered?
Number Two: Absolutely.
Dr. Evil: Oh well, that’s a start.
