In the meantime I suggest you interview Col. George “Bud” Day [Medal of Honor recipient and former Prisoner Of War], and ask him what he considers to be torture. For over forty years he has lived with the permanent scars and pain which did not occur from a little water in his nose.
I had the distinct honor of shaking his hand last weekend, and his hands and arms still bear the disfiguration which occurs only from real, physical torture.
Imagine your elbows being drawn together behind your back until they touch. When this happens your sternum tears. Now imagine the bindings on the elbows being utilized to hoist you off the ground whilst you are interrogated and beaten. Bud Day endured this treatment, but thank God he didn’t have to try to withstand the rigors of panties on the head! My God, there is absolutely no justification for that kind of inhumanity! I asked how discomfort can be confused with torture. You, like every other anti-American liberal, tried to make this an issue against waterboarding. Waterboarding causes no permanent physical damage, therefore it is not torture. Col. Day withstood true physical torture and he lives with the consequences to this day.

BTW – You seem to think you know the true reason for the Viet Cong sadistic torture. I know you hate this country, but are you willing to now admit you have inside information regarding the Viet Cong motives, or are you just spouting your vile opinion? This is Memorial Day weekend. Oh, I almost forgot. If waterboarding isn’t torture, why did the US prosecute Japanese prison camp personnel who waterboarded US POWs in WWII under international conventions against torture? Is waterboarding torture whether done by Japanese against US soldiers or by CIA against Muslims, or were those Japanese prison guards wrongfully prosecuted? (Multiple choice, and there is no “all of the above”)

You should Google the USS Liberty incident, ca 1967, in which Israel deliberately attacked a USN communications ship, then lied and claimed that their pilots had mistaken it for an Egyptian flag vessel (Mule) to which it bore absolutely no resemblance.
