The Steelers were a better photo-op for King Obama. He would rather hang out with the brothers instead of a bunch of white kids anyway.

I think we have a President that could actually play for the Steelers!

He’s so amazing!

Lady liberty   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:14 am

hmmm… perhaps when they are old enough to join “THE ONE”’s personal army they will be recognised & not snubbed…
Obama’s staff must be really incompetent if 10 minutes makes such a big difference in preparations…

Craig Allen   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:20 am

Get used to crying kids, the debt the Narcissist in Chief is creating will bankrupt you, and YOUR kids.

Grow Up   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:26 am

This is funny. Here Oooobama shows up late for every meeting with foreign leaders, late for every event here and they wouldn’t even let these kids in. This same rotten bunch along with the media won’t say anything here, but they all had weeks and months of negative reports of how Bush finished meeting with kindergartners after the attacks of 9/11. What a bunch of @sses. I hope the parents who voted for this clown and blew $20 sending these kids for indoctrinization will know what fools they are. I wouldn’t give 2 cents to see him.

Dave, Tn   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:35 am

Maybe this is why Obama was 25 minutes late for his own “I got to get out in front of Cheney speech” yesterday. I “feel” so guilty now. I was betting he was intentionally late to try and keep Cheney off the cable news shows. Those damn kids kept him waiting at the gate. Bahahahah

Now with The Official Channel of the White House on YouTube, I’m sure we will all get the real story… way to go Obama to avoid real press coverage….
anyone left out there who DOES NOT SEE where our country is headed?

Dr. Strangelove   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:57 am

Why does Obama hate children?

Just ask the school children of DC about being disappointed by Obama. He’s shutting down their private school voucher plan and throwing them back into the violent, drug-ridden, poor-performing DC public schools. Even after a Dept. of Ed. report showing significant improvement for kids in the program.

And all to please the teacher unions who help bankroll him and the rest of the Dems.

He could not scrape up $18M to extend the program, out of his $800B stimulus spending orgy.

Enjoy your Hope and Change, Comrades.

Pencey   May 22nd, 2009 - 10:59 am

It’s interesting that the Obama “Team” sends the Secret Service to check out 5 year old children on a class tour of the White House but at the same time Dr.Nummy himself has no qualms about schlepping scores of Guantanamo terrorists across the border and into the children’s communities.

This must be another facet of the education one receives from “Harvard University.”

American Liberal   May 22nd, 2009 - 11:01 am

Just a bunch of cry baby kids that shouldn’t have been born anyway. The President doesn’t need kids anyway, they can’t vote. I can see why he likes to see babies die if they are born alive by leaving them all alone on a table or putting them in brine water. He knows what’s right.

di butler   May 22nd, 2009 - 11:48 am

Like someone pointed out, this jerk is late every single time he’s supposed to do anything! I also read that they most likely won’t be able to make it up, as school will be out in a few days. This is stupid beyond stupid. How about having the Steelers meet the kids WITH Obama? What a**holes! Oh well, these kids are already saddled with Obama’s huge debt, no need to be nice to them.

Observer   May 22nd, 2009 - 12:01 pm

This is a President who can’t think on his feet.

Do you remember him going to vote? He was in there for an hour trying to figure how to fill in the form.

It took him six months to pick out a dog. A guy with a brain tumor finally had to do it for him.

He went on TV with Leno and dissed the disabled.

He’s got his government plane out on a 350 thousand dollar photo shoot.

It goes on an on.

If George had been there for this, it might still have been too late for a tour but he’d have recruited the Steelers to help out.

“Cmon with me guys, there’s a PR mess up and we’re going downstairs to talk with some kids.”

Obama could easily have been a super hero on this; but instead of that it’s one more day and he’s still a slow-wit fool and it’s only a matter of time before he does some stupid thing that ends up tragic.”

THE OBAMA WHITE HOUSE – BEST JOKE IN TOWN

Can’t even manage a late bus load of kids.

Anexioisanidiot   May 22nd, 2009 - 12:09 pm

Liberals Are Parasites   May 22nd, 2009 - 12:18 pm

Pencey, it is interesting. If obozo was a civilian he couldn’t even get a security clearence to be on a milital base with all the radicals he hangs out with.

Do you expect any better behavior out of this clown.

It's All About the "O"   May 22nd, 2009 - 12:48 pm

Headlines we should see in the NY Times, but never will:

“Obama Lied, Children Cried” or
“Every Child Left Behind”

How could “the most brilliant White House staff ever” blow this opportunity? Just invite the kids in to meet The Steelers for fun and an absolutely priceless Photo-op. Win-win. Duh.

I could never think well of a man’s intellectual or moral character if he was habitually unfaithful to his appointments. ~ Emmons

Isn’t it funny how THE ONE expects other people to be on time, but he’s soooooooo important he can exist on HIS TIME — which is continually LATE for everything!!!!

Old Man   May 22nd, 2009 - 1:39 pm

It’s time for POST BIRTH ABORTON!!!!

AtlasOjectivist   May 22nd, 2009 - 2:03 pm

Unbelievable. There is something wrong at the very core of the Obama administration.

Oh, I’m sure they will make it up to them on the tax payers dollar.

It’s a race thing.
Kids were white.
Parents were typical liberals, who voted for obama,so he knew he could crap on them and they’d still kneel before him.
Rooney gave big bucks to buy an ambassadorship.
barry knows where his butt is buttered.
besides, most the team are colored and barry likes to act like he is too.
