I think they call this “racism.”

I’m starting a campaign to buy from only white businesses. Am I a racist now?

Sick of the racist hypocrisy/time to shut this scum down   May 13th, 2009 - 3:30 am

This interview was a complete farce!
Cavuto, as he usually does, threw softball questions and almost completly ignored the blatantly racist nature of this so-called ‘experiment’?

Did anyone at Fox News bother investigating the background of these people to see if they have a history of participating in racially divisive stunts like this one and spreading racist demagoguery ala rev wright and his bigoted flock?

How the hell do they expect this proposition of theirs to create more wealth in the black community when they are in effect shutting down investment and closing access to capital ventures in their community even more than it already is?? If they want black business people to re-invest in their community then they are going to have to pool the resources of that supposed 1 trillion dollars in buying power and offer reasons for those business people to do that, which as it stand now they have little reason to do so.

This does nothing but create another illusion amongst black consumers who buy into this nonsense that they will be increasing their community wealth however while that might have worked to a limited extent in the pre ww2 era, circumstances now are very different and will require a much more systematic and integrated approach to community reinvestment establishing capital for revival efforts in large dilapidated predominently black areas. They should also realize the effect that these sort of racially charged expirements will have on the non-black residents/business owners in their area. Again shutting people out, closing doors and effectivly hanging signs on the windows that proclaiming; ONLY BLACKS WELCOMED – NON BLACKS NEED NOT APPLY will not only greatly damage the black community’s financial recovery & disrupt any wealth attainment but also piss off, in general, alot of people subsequently creating alot more hatred against black people everywhere. Only an absolute suicidal fool would comdemn thier commmunity to self exile and banishment from the rest of the world then call that progress.

If Fox News is now in the business of giving low life racists a forum without challenging them just because they come on camera wearing business suits and talking about a supposed business venture then Fox is now just as guilty of spreading the hatred and evil hypocrisy that rev wrong & his racist acolytes like obamba have been guilty of doing for decades.
They are then truely part of the MSM and are no longer fair and balanced as they claim. I truly hope this is not the case but they will suffer the same backlash and rejection as all the other biased media networks have if it does proves to be the case!

I am glad this came out. I have made sure for the past 9 years, to only buy from non-black owned businesses. The database list they are coming up with is a good start for whom not to buy from, but there will be a lot of stealth companies that choose not to be listed. As a small business owner myself, I hire no blacks or illegal immigrants, I have vacation rental property that I would never allow blacks to rent, and any services I require from tree cutting and landscaping to home remodeling to repairs on the car, are strictly off limits to blacks. The companies I deal with are made aware of this and they don’t mind doing work for me under those conditions. I have had blacks tell me they wouldn’t do business with other blacks, they said they didn’t trust them to finish the job or that the job would be done properly.

I have an idea for an “Experiment”

Let’s give an entire town to blacks. So it’s 100% BLACK and they run EVERYTHING from the local gov’t, to the local commerce. We give them some seed money to get things going and we’ll check back in a few years.

The results are predictable.

Just look at the blacks in South Africa killing white farmers. Not a good idea, if you like food.

Two Way Mirror   May 13th, 2009 - 9:09 am

Even though that couple’s reason may not be racist.
My reason for not doing business with blacks is due to the fact that I am a hard core racist and very proud of it.Oh,I made that up about blacks telling me they wouldn’t do business with other blacks, because I do not associate with black people period.

JP   May 13th, 2009 - 10:00 am

Hold on! I am as conservative as you can get, and I think this is great.
Every ethnic group supports their own retail business.
Blacks have never been loyal to their own local business.
Look at every ethnic area and you see stores that cater to their type of items.
Italian, Korean, Spanish,…
I believe this is the most important thing any ethnic group can do to move up and out.

Stop the race consciousness!!! America is a multicultural nation where race isn’t supposed to factor in the discussion. No more race-baiting, or affirmative action, or special programs that highlight race or ethnicity. This is what is dividing America, not uniting America.

duncan   May 13th, 2009 - 11:19 am

Hey Anon,
Race IS a factor as long as we have Native American month,African American month, GLBT month
Hispanic week Whats going on now Pacific asian Islander month All pushed by the Federal Govt
When you put a group on a pedestal at the expense of another, There will be problems.
Weather deliberate or not Its the begining of Balkanization of the United States

Dave, Tn   May 13th, 2009 - 11:34 am

I’m with JP on this. The biggest threat to what they’re trying to do though will come from groups like ACORN (chasing business out is their job), and the so called local leaders who are more loyal to DC and NY than their own people. They’ll make it impossible for start ups and people who can’t get along without a klingon (lawyer) to translate the language.

WOW   May 13th, 2009 - 11:41 am

What a surprise! More racist crap from the black klan. Blacks are maybe 15% of the population but they expect to be represented 110% of the time. They do not want equal rights, but rather, superiority. Blacks tossed a fit about segregation and now they spend every waking moment trying to achieve segregation. I never bothered checking skin color before deciding which company to do business with, but I darn sure will now.

Just another fed up lady   May 13th, 2009 - 11:41 am

This is sicking. They are trying to act like they are not racist but they are. America is beautiful with all the different colors but to keep dividing the line so that we always see color in everything is just despicable. I hope their “experiment” fails. It is because America chooses to be what it is that they are able to do this experiment. They America I know wants people to succeed despite the color of their skin. Shame on these people. I hope they are proud of the racism they promoted.

WHO CARES ABOUT THESE BABOONS ANYWAY?   May 13th, 2009 - 4:15 pm

White People Unite   May 13th, 2009 - 4:16 pm

White people need to come together and buy only from white people. We all ready have a black president and look how screwed up he is. Give to the poor and make the whites work to pay for it. To everyone who has kids, guess who will pay for all his spending. You guessed it, your kids. This country is going to socialism and we will soon have a king, or maybe he’s there now.

Go to a govt building and see for yourself.
Its really bad in my area. Right in the main atrium a HUGE display case with Gay/Lesbian/transgender material in your face, just what a old vet wants to look at while he waits for his appointment.

Oak tree   May 14th, 2009 - 12:24 am

I do business with whomever can do job or provide the goods and services in a superior, timely and cost effective manner, period. Sometimes I find white business do the better jobs, other times a minority does a superior job. I find that blacks tend to want to do business with black businesses anyway. That is way short sighted, I think, and they probably end up, at least some of the time, getting an inferior product or service. Same goes the other way. For example, if I purchased exclusively from white businesses. I would expect to receive a percentage of poor quality, and end up paying to have the service or product replaced. Think the experiment is way dumb, and in a way, racist. But that is just my opinion. Carry on.

how about keep the 40% of your young males out of prison, stop having out of wedlock babies, and quit your victim mentality.
this is a pseudo-intellectual libtard experiment. try fixing your culture from the family unit on up.
