Obama Proposes Fewer, Lesser Budget Cuts Than Bush

Washington Times: President Obama announced fewer budget cuts and for a lesser dollar amount than President George W. Bush did in his final budget - and is counting on being able to eliminate some programs that his predecessor repeatedly tried, but failed, to slash. Obama administration officials said they're convinced they'll have more luck eliminating programs such as Even Start, an early childhood education program that Mr. Bush put on the chopping block year after year but which both Democrats and Republicans in Congress refused to cut.

We don’t need no stinkin’ budget cuts. How are we going to pay for these programs? More taxes, now.

Hey, why does Obama hate children? (Ha, just throwing some liberal mud back in O’s face.)

Obama already cut school vouchers for children in DC. This program enabled poor black children to get out of the hellhole DC public schools and into the high performing private schools–like where Obama put his own children. Obama’s own Dep’t of Ed. published a report that children in the choice program PERFORMED SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than the poor souls in public schools. But that was irrelevant to the teachers’ unions who regularly bankroll Obama and the Dems.

Choice for Me, but not for Thee.

Has anyone experienced those phony sales at stores where they jack up the price by 100 percent then cut it by 20 percent to deceive the potential buyer into thinking that they are getting a bargain. Well, those kind of sales often work, drawing in the less educated buyers into these evil sort of stores. That is what Obama does. He raises spending by hundreds of percents then lowers it by less than one percent to show that he cares about cutting costs. And the MSM eats it up and lines up with kneepad in hand to do service and honor to their secular messiah.

I think we all need to step back a bit. Americans were upset with George Bush for spending too much. Remember the democrat line “worst economy since the great depression”? And the reason for this bad economy was the weight of the debt on the economy. Everyone agreed – liberals and conservatives. So even tho I didn’t vote for Obama, imagine my elation when he announced he would fix the economy by spending even more. So, Bush was on the right track after all. He should have just spent more and the economy would have recoveed even sooner.
Obama is certainly the smartest man alive. No one could have come up with that brilliant solution except for his highness!

what a joke. just print more money barry, there’s no problem with rampant inflation that could ever happen from that. man, i wish bush had thought of just printing more and more….genius.

All I can do is laugh at the insanity as I’m shoving what little cash I have into my mattress….next to my religion and guns, of course.

Obama’s cutting out DC vouchers for public school children is just a plan to keep those dumb public school children out of his children’s class rooms
