All these supposedly intelligent Noo Yawkas are not bright enough to discerne the most famous paint scheme in history – Air Force One – which can be CLEARLY SEEN in the friggin’ videos of this “incident.”

I hope the panty-waists all pi$$ed their pants.

There are still a lot of raw nerves here in the NYC area. I think that it is pretty arrogant of who ever approved of this that the peoples safety was not even considered. How many comments have I read of people being rushed out of their buildings, or possible panic this might stir.

Wrong time for this non-sense, and definitively the wrong place.

Cant really see lettering when its 4000 feet above you. And since it was tailed by F-16’s the fearful leap is justified.

I’m surprised that the DoD told NYC police and mayor to not announce that this was going to happen.

PLUS…the plain flew outside of the agreed upon flight pattern.

What 9/11 ??
For the longest any attempt to show anything about the Saudi IslamoFascist attack on NYC was suppressed by the “families of 9/11″. No pictures of the buildings in flames, no collapsing buildings, no nothing. You would think it was just another mugging that had nothing to do with any one else in the country. I guess it was just not PC to criticize the people who were responsible for that attack in the holy name of multi-culturalism. The NYC police were protecting the storefront mosques and the muzzies standing on the sidewalk cheering the attack from New Yorkers.
So stop your NYJ whining and go back to your bagels and creme cheese where you have been since all this occurred.

Dugan – what did you see that day? Or were you sleeping?

Who was the brilliant one not to inform anyone of this? Photoshoot over NY with AF1 and jets? I find that hard to believe. Sounds like Obama’s brain might be riddled with fever and whoever made this happen should be canned. How about if someonew screams “GUN!!!!” at a political rally?? Would that be ok too????? Wake up the brain dead!!!!!

FOCUS ON THE SERIOUS CRISES, PLEASE   April 27th, 2009 - 3:39 pm

With all the SERIOUS CRISES going on, should they really be wasting time, energy, money and people’s NERVES over NONSENSE like photo-op planes buzzing Our Lady of Liberty??

I wonder how much CO2 emissions were exhausted with this flight?

Will one of you green lefty gasbags tell me how this is OK in your mind?

What the satellite images are not good enough? What is the purpose of a fly over in Air force 1 to take photos? Could they have not had better photos from a helicopter?

Warren   April 27th, 2009 - 4:26 pm

It is quite understandable for NYers to have been startled. Jumbo jet flying low over Manhattan skyline? The initial subconscious reaction for any eyewitness would be 9/11 all over again. Definitely a faux pas on the part of whoever planned and OK’d this.

Aren’t there a couple movies in the works about the great “One”?

Another example of NO transparency from the Obama administration….

“A Pentagon official confirmed that while the Presidential Airlift Group, which is based out of Andrews Air Force Base, did inform the FAA and New York City officials about this morning’s aerial photo op. But THEY ALSO TOLD BOTH AGENCIES NOT TO INFORM THE PUBLIC about it. The NYPD confirmed this.”

I’m not quite sure how, but I know, this has to be George W. Bush’s fault! It must be, because the Obuma White House still hasn’t come up with an excuse. Darn Airforce Crazies! Must have been the military! Yeah, that’s it! The military wanted to make Obuma look bad, because they miss G.W. ! That’s it! Everybody got it? Okay! Now, put it on the teleprompter!

That didn’t take long to turn into someone else’s fault, now did it? This BS is going to be so worn out by 2012!

Conservatives Are Morons   April 27th, 2009 - 6:09 pm

Heck, this reminds me of Shrub spending a half million $ of taxpayer money to fly onto a US Aircraft carrier stationed off of San Diego for a photo op to announce “Mission Accomplished”!

Ah,……wait a minute……aren’t our brave men and women still being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan??

Uh Oh,……..

Yep! Tax dollars well spent, huh?

And The Far-Reich Wing Rethuglican’t Hypocrisy Comedy Parade Continues………

Well, what about you boy increasing troops in Afghanistan?

Neo-Cons Are Predators   April 27th, 2009 - 8:30 pm

@Neal E

Firstly, the differences are, he never wanted to take his eye off the ball by going into Iraq in the first place and thus letting the real perpetrators escape in Afghanistan. Secondly, I don’t recall him photo-opping with a stupid statement such as “Mission Accomplished in Iraq”

Hopefully your smart enough to figure those differences out, however I sincerely doubt it!
