This story is not in the NY Times. Why? Is the fate of this unfortunate Pakistani couple unimportant to them? That sounds racist to me. Don’t see a spec of coverage on msnbc. They’re saying Pakistan is launching a new offensive on the Taliban, but these two unfortunates didn’t make the grade I guess.

As with most things in life, failing to address a problem, allow it to fester and grow. The world is much smaller than it once was, we do need to be concerned.

Presently, political correctness has been used by the left to dismiss and bludgeon any dissent from their misguided plans. Ms. California says the same thing as Obama, yet is excoriated. Gore’s science is shoddy, but a genuine atmospheric scientist who differs is silenced. Most of the American liberal agenda is about grabbing power, and money. While the media paints a picture of the republicans being fat cats, the truth is quite the opposite. It is the dems sidled up the big bucks trough. Look at Feinstein whose husband makes a fortune off of a deal she brokered in congress. The dems have been able to buy and sell the GOP for years, but yet the republicans are fat cats?

This story communicates an obvious atrocity, also a less obvious one. If the media you watch does not give you better, unfiltered news, then dump it. Filtering the news is the same as telling a lie. Breitbart, drudge and other news aggregating sites get it. This is also why the libs attack them. Not so much for a political stance, but rather, because they show us the world without the politically correct filter. To show the truth–outside their control–is to be right-wing by their twisted standards. This is why, on their broadcasts, MSNBC always has slogans like “fair & balanced”, “news you can trust”or “no bias” plastered on the corners of their screens. And you thought O’Rielly bragging about his audience numbers was bad. If you have to tell us, with a slogan, you’re fair and balanced, then it stands to reason that you’re either insecure or covering up your bias. I’m thinking they feel pretty secure, so you can puzzle out the rest.

Even if you’re a mentally deranged liberal, you ought to loath this pervasive media bias, rather than pamper your own ideological goals and narrow self-interest. If, for example, the truth hurts a liberal candidate or incumbent, so be it, the replacement must be better and certainly aware that the media will provide no special treatment. These two died meaningless deaths at the hands of radical Muslims. Not quite though. If we see this then we can in some small way effect change. We can demand of our officials better foreign policy with Pakistan, call upon Muslim leaders to condemn such evil. That would mean that these poor souls died providing us an awareness of Muslim evil and that is something.

I’m retired Army major and I once had the chance to see these “1 shot wonder” spec-op guys up close and personal. They all ate bugs and had serious mental issues; very nasty personalities. But, they certainly were not losers. I for one hope that these pissed-off former soldiers never join the Taliban or any other radical group that wants us destroyed. If they do, we are all in deep sh*t. But of course, we will always have plenty of Jim’s and similar clueless dumb*ss to pop off and show the World how dumb Americans are.
