First, before this squeezix claims this is all HIS idea, anyone would be well served to go back into the archives of the Glenn Beck archives at Fox News, where this concept was first discussed as a solution to a national problem. But the only reason this is gaining traction in California is for gays to marry. The repeatedly stated will of the people in this one-person-one-vote Democracy is not good enough when some people don’t get their way, so whatever it takes to get things done their way and everyone else be damned, that’s what must be done. So this is going to be a completele bastardization of the original reason for having a COnvention, and unforunately it will fail for that reason, and sadly it will cause a national drive to fail as well, all over the same gay marriage thing. Modern American politics is pathetic.

NY-20 goes to the Democrat Scott Murphy :D

I guess the heavily Republican congressional district decided to make the right choice.
