Shepard Smith has become quite the lose cannon. I actually find him a bit unstable and do not watch his program often. I really think that Shep needs a vacation; he is was to emotionally involved with the items he reports on.

wow   April 23rd, 2009 - 4:42 am

this guy is way too angry, what a baby temper, he just snapped. shame

I’ll have what he’s having

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 7:17 am

Good for you, Shep! I couldn’t have said it better.

His “temper” is a result of outrage and if that means that he gets “emotionally involved”, then that is understandable.

We ARE America. AND we DON’T F***ing torture!

Or at least we didn’t until recently…

jbh50   April 23rd, 2009 - 8:00 am

Uh, he was just mad with the way his makeup artist applied his eye liner…nothing to see here, move along.

Oblaima   April 23rd, 2009 - 8:03 am

uhm…yes, uh, uh, whatever shep said, i agree. We uh, uhm, are both panties boyz.

Far Reich Wing Wacko   April 23rd, 2009 - 8:33 am

Ah oh,…….He’d better start writing his apology letters to Limplaugh and Insanity Hannity, as both of those clowns endorse torture completely! (as long as they’re not the one’s being tortured of course)

And the Far Reich Rethuglican’t Hypocrisy Comedy Parade Continues……

Bubba   April 23rd, 2009 - 8:56 am

I think Shep was very sincere in the fact that America should not torture – did he ever say that we did torture anyway though. No, he didn’t. I am not cynical, but I have watched these folks enough to know how they operate and try to get viewers so that they can boast that they are #1. It is all about the money – Keith O even stated that after talking to some of those guys and Rupert himself – if they could make more money with a liberal talk show he would drop FOX in a second. It’s ALL about the money with FAUX NOISE! And you sheep take it hook line and sinker!

On the other hand, Shep is the only news anchor on any of the news stations who is worth watching.

Through the years, Shep has demonstrated his ability to comprehensively report on complex issues. He is intelligent, compassionate and will call out those who blunder, whether they are conservative or liberal.

His reporting from New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina was news reporting at its best. Particularly, when he issued an impassioned plea for the President to send immediate assistance, as he stood in front of the covered body of an elderly citizen, which was left abandoned by the New Orleans government and he kept repeating that this was unbelievable that this was happening in the United States of America.

Quite frankly as a moderate and fiscal conservative (not a nutjob neo-con like most of the weak sheep on this site), I’m surprised Shep hasn’t won any awards for his stellar reporting. Most likely because he works on FIX!

Jason   April 23rd, 2009 - 10:22 am

Shepard Smith has always been a weak link, and a bit of a loose cannon. Search for him on http://www.thsmokinggun.com. This weak kneed way of capitulating your aggressor is going to get many more Americans killed, but liberals don’t care. They are the end result of decades of conflict resolution style teaching in our feminized school system, and ideology trumps reality with these brainless followers. When were attacked again, this time under a President that liberals support, they’re going to wonder why there are so many silent “I told you so” looks on the faces of many of their fellow americans, and alot less people willing to stick their necks out to support their inane apology tactics abroad.

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 10:41 am

Jason,
How is Shepard Smith a weak link? Because he does not fall in step with O’Reilly and Hannity? Where is your “fair and balanced” FOX News if you cannot accept even a slight deviation from the official Limbaugh/Hannity/Levin/Coulter line?

Also, I was just wondering…where was the “reality” of WMD’S in Iraq and the contention that Iraq was a haven for al Qaeda? I mean, aside from the fantasy world that exists between that Dick, Cheney’s, ears.

You are correct when you state that ideology trumps reality but that sword cuts both ways—left AND right.

JDG   April 23rd, 2009 - 10:58 am

So Airwick, whats you brilliant idea on how to get information on planned terrorism from those whose intent is to destroy us?

Ho Dong Souk   April 23rd, 2009 - 11:01 am

We, the people of North Viet Nam, did not torture John McCain either. Torture is wrong even if does save lives. I would rather die and have my family die than have us use torture.

kmichaels   April 23rd, 2009 - 11:39 am

Is tickling a person torture? Some people say so. So, according to morons, tickling is just wrong and we just dont f****ing do it in America. So we should arrest Bill Murray, immediate to stop the spread of torture in America.

And I agree with the poster that called Shep the weakest link at Fox. I have thought so for quite some time and this is yet another reason to think such.

kmichaels   April 23rd, 2009 - 11:41 am

Obama fully supports torture and death of unborn children, teenage pirates, terrorist families, wives, kids. But he does not appreciate the effectiveness of waterboarding known terrorists. Because have you ever had one of those stress blisters on your lips? Hey, those can really be painful. And every expert on earth knows that waterboarding can and does lead to stress blisters on a persons lip.

WE DO NOT TORTURE - WRONG WE NEED TO TORTURE!   April 23rd, 2009 - 11:52 am

IF IT WERE NOT FOR AMERICA AND OUR TORTURING PROCESS DURING WORLD WAR I AND II YOU MORON AMERICANS WOULD BE SUBMITTING YOUR WEAK AS! TO GERMAN OR JAPANESE DICTATORS.

WAKE UP IDIOTS!

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 12:20 pm

JDG,
My brilliant idea is to obtain information the way we always did it–through contacts, hard work, and intellect (as in thinking). For those of you who will now claim that it did not work before (9-11) let me remind you that it in fact DID work back then. Richard Clarke is on record saying that we had reliable information that an attack was imminent. I believe the words used to describe the atmosphere were, “all the warning lights were blinking and they were blinking RED”. So what happened? We ignored it! All the information you obtain via intelligence gathering is worthless if you do not act upon it.

What I think we should do is get rid of the redundancy in the government to make it more efficient. We do not need a BATF, FBI, and various other Federal law enforcement agencies. They have NOT worked together historically and they don’t seem to be doing so now. The result is that valuable information is not available to those who can act upon it. Get rid of ALL of them and merge them into a single Federal Law Enforcement Agency. Take the best people out of the previous agencies to staff it and lay off the rest.

The next thing that I would do is dump Homeland Security. The last thing we need is another layer of bureaucracy to muddy the waters. We didn’t need them before and we don’t need them now. Most of the people in this department are from other agencies that are now short staffed as a result. Send the good ones back and lay off the rest.

Torture is an instrument employed by small minded thugs who can’t figure out how to gain information by any other means. Find out who these people are via whatever paper trail exists and lose them as well. Replace them with people who are smart and are able to study not only our enemies, but our potential friends (and they are out there if we care to look for them) as well. Study their religion, their culture, their strengths, and their weaknesses. The way to beat these people is to out smart them, not out brutalize them.

mark   April 23rd, 2009 - 12:25 pm

Day to day Shepard goes along towing the FOX company line, until something like Katrina SO crosses the line, (which cost Smith dearly, FOX “outed” him as gay,) and he SNAPS and says exactly what he thinks. OBVIOUSLY the aggregious skewing of the Geneva conventions….was such a moment.

Dr.M.L.Kingfish   April 23rd, 2009 - 12:46 pm

I din’t think anyone had to “out” shep, keith, chris, rachael,or anderson.
shep makes 4mil. a year, I don’t think he gives a crap what anyone thinks.
And the simple fact is , if Katrina had been a fire , everyone would have left.
There was a time when black folks didn’t have to be begged to run from the lion.
They shouldn’t let terrorists live long enough to be tortured.

Mugsy   April 23rd, 2009 - 1:00 pm

Speaking of “a rat’s ass”. . . . . Move along, Shep. You’re boring on your best days – and this on your worst.

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 1:05 pm

We Need Torture,
Please review your history. Firstly, you have to separate the two World Wars with regard to cause, how they were fought, and results. You could accurately state that the Second World War was due in large part to the effects of the aftermath of the first war, but the similarities end there.

As far as torture is concerned, we did NOT torture prisoners in either war. Nor, in fact, did the Germans (with the notable exception of the Russian POW’s whom were officially considered to be inferior racially). The Japanese were another matter and they abused and mistreated their prisoners throughout the war. Many Japanese officers were tried, convicted, and executed after the war for war crimes because of this. The Chinese abused (and waterboarded) POW’s to force them to sign “confessions” during the Korean War as well. And, of course, the North Vietnamese did the same. Maybe that is why John McCain is such a vocal opponent of the practice. He knows what it feels like to be on the other end of “enhanced interrogation techniques”. It seems that there are some individuals who hold the Japanese, Chinese, and NVA to a higher standard than we hold out own people.

In short, the LAST thing that we need is torture. It is a stain upon the honor of the country and that honor is one of our greatest assets both here and abroad.

GiveMeLiberty   April 23rd, 2009 - 1:06 pm

Being a FoxNews junkie I often thought Shep was a lib collecting a HUGE paycheck from “the enemy”, so to speak. He did come unglued during Katrina and it was at that time I suspected he was showing his true colors for the first time on tv. He should be working along side Chris and Keith over on MSNBC…sounds like they have even MORE in common than I thought. I think Shep and Keith would be very happy together!

I’m all for whatever it takes to get info from terrorists…they have one goal in life..to KILL AMERICANS. Nobama playing nice with our enemies isn’t going to change their hate for us one single bit. It’s a neccesary element to the war on terror.

I’m reading “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell who was the only Navy Seal who survived a brutal battle with the Taliban in 2005. He states the following:
“In the global war on terror, we have rules, and our opponents use them against us. We try to be reasonable; they will stop at nothing. They will stoop to any form of base warfare: torture, beheading, mutilation. I ask myself, Who’s prepared to go furthest to win this war? Answer..THEY ARE. They’ll willingly die to get their enemy. They will take it to the limit, anytime, any place, whatever it takes. And they don’t have rules of engagement.”

If we want to win this war we must (sadly) stoop to their level in many ways, or we will be ruled by these monsters in our own country. The question is…does this obamanation have the b@lls to carry out what’s necessary for us to survive? Sadly they don’t!!!!

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 1:53 pm

GiveMeLiberty,
If we (sadly) stoop to their level “in many ways” then we will not have to worry about being ruled by “those monsters”; we will be ruled by OUR monsters.

By the way is this Marcus Luttrell the same guy who survived because he was taken in by a “Muzzie” shepard who welcomed him into his home? He and his fellow villagers refused to give him up to the Taliban fighters and protected him until he was rescued.

Larse   April 23rd, 2009 - 1:53 pm

Kingfish
You know how YOU can tell rove has gained weight, when he sits on YOUR face, you can’t hear the stereo.

btw WE took in 8 Katrina evacuees AND their pets into our home, several LOST everything they owned except what they packed in clothes for 3 days. People who worked in New Orleans had NO WORK for a year. Garbage was on the streets a YEAR after Katrina.
In the olden days the LIONS didn’t build horse sh*t levees, or NOT know thousands of elderly and women and children were DYING of dehydration and hunger…a WEEK after a natural disaster. They didn’t hire a dumba$$ arabian Horse Judge to provide emergency provisions, they didn’t leave elderly folks to DROWN in Nursing Homes.
Provisions got to Tsunami victims of Indonesia…faster than they did to New Orleans.

finn   April 23rd, 2009 - 2:30 pm

Mark….what the heck does your comment have to do with what Shepard Smith had to say about torture???? Stay on topic please. We all know you, AirWick and Larse hate Bush. That point has been made too many times to count. The hate blog you want is over at huff and puff…feel free to troll over there.

GiveMeLiberty   April 23rd, 2009 - 2:37 pm

Airhead,

Yes, Marcus Luttrell’s life was saved by a very kind Muslim village…and your point is???? The problem with you libs (one of MANY) is you think we can’t can’t differentiate good people from bad.

Did you even READ what Marcus said? It’s so easy for someone as pompus as you are to think you’re an expert on what our brave men and women who are ACTUALLY the ones fighting this war on terror, should do in life and death circumstances. You want our government, who live in cushy homes in D.C., decide the fate of our soldiers who are in harms way in Iraq and Afghanistan each and everyday, dictate the rules of engagement. The left are always so quick to blame our military and defend those who only want us dead. The way your president is governing this country it’s only a matter of time before we face another dreadful attack.

Other   April 23rd, 2009 - 2:39 pm

He is right we dont torture. The released documents prove that.

If only the press would read them….

America…our new Muslim President is selling America down the tubes.

He is singlehandedly destroying our defenses, psychologically and physically.

We do not torture in America…and just the fact…that these things are being discussed in public and in full view of our enemies…is a disgrace to our military and our great nation.

America…just a little over half of our American citizens put into the highest office in our land…the most inept, inexperienced, naive, candidate that has ever, ever campaigned in our country.

Now, we are paying for the stupidest mistake in the history of our country.

AMERICA…SOMEONE IN THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO PROVE THIS MAN IS A FRAUD SO WE CAN GET RID OF HIM.

WE NEED THAT BIRTH CERTIFICATE…WE CAN WAIT NO LONGER…IT MUST BE CALLED FOR!

CALL/EMAIL CONGRESS AND TELL THEM WE ARE LOOKING FOR A BRAVE AMERICAN IN GOVERNMENT TO STAND UP AND INSIST THAT HE PRODUCE THAT BIRTH CERTIFICATE BEFORE WE ARE ALL DESTROYED UNDER THE HAND OF SAUL ALINSKY OBAMA…AKA…THE NATION OF ISLAM’S MESSIAH…AKA…THE FLIM FLAM OBAMAMAN…AKA…THE SERVANT OF HIS KING ABDULLAH…AKA BARACK HUSSEIN SOETORO OBAMA.

IT MUST BE DONE!

We are the laughing stock of the world and our enemies. He has put us in a vulnerable and dangerous position!

AMERICA…JULY 4TH, 2009…INDEPENDENCE DAY IN AMERICA!

This unimportant sac named ‘mark’ is just one example of how some people in this country think they know everything and that the world revolves around them. Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 4:15 pm

GiveMeLiberty,
Actually, I did read what he had to say. I simply disagree with some of the things that he says and the conclusions that you draw from them. For example, he states, “In the global war on terror, we have rules, and our opponents use them against us”. Really? What “rules” do we have and how has our opponents “used” them against us. We clearly did not follow the international (and US) rule to refrain from torture. Perhaps he should be a little more specific. He also states that “they will stop at nothing”. Gee…that sort of sounds like Rumdummy’s crowd and that Dick, Cheney, doesn’t it? Another of his quotes is that “they will stoop to any form of base warfare: torture, beheading, mutilation”. OK…so I guess one out of three is a good start, right? I mean…why stop at torture? Since we are letting the enemy dictate our conduct, why not go the full route? THAT will show them! His last question is the most telling. “I ask myself, Who’s prepared to go furthest to win this war? Answer..THEY ARE. They’ll willingly die to get their enemy. They will take it to the limit, anytime, any place, whatever it takes. And they don’t have rules of engagement.”. He is correct. They have no rules of engagement, morals, or standards of decency. THAT is their real weakness, not their strength. I have always thought that al Qaeda’s worst enemy is not the United States; it is al Qaeda. Their uncompromising fanaticism and brutality has turned a lot of people in the Muslim world against them. That is why Gen. Petraeus has been successful in forming the Awakening Councils in Iraq. The last time I checked we DID have rules, standards, and morals…or at least I thought that we did. We can beat these creeps AND follow the rules.

You wondered why I referenced the village that saved him when you stated that, “Yes, Marcus Luttrell’s life was saved by a very kind Muslim village…and your point is????” My point is that too many people who place comments on this site have NOTHING positive to say about Muslims and use the term as a pejorative. Just read Eileen’s posting following yours. “America…our new Muslim President is selling America down the tubes”. This sort of nonsense appears on BB constantly and serves no constructive purpose. We can not win this fight against radical Islamic elements without help from the rest of the Muslim World. This is their war, too, and they may have more to gain, or lose, with its final outcome than we do.

kmichaels   April 23rd, 2009 - 4:51 pm

Yes mark, tickling a person like bill murray does really is torture in some peoples minds but I still manage to sleep quite well at night. Thanks for asking. Btw, blowhard mark, how is that relationship of yours going with muffy your male dog friend and hopefully future marriage companion? Is he house trained yet? Speaking about how one sleeps, does muffy your male dog companion know how to steal back the blankets that you steal during the night with his teeth? Without thumbs makes it a bit more difficult and you do come across as quite a selfish partner so I suspect that that puts muffy at a bit of a disadvantage.

In any case mark, since your hopey dopey Obama is ok in torturing nearly born human babies I would not be worrying about how I sleep, you should worry about how you sleep since you and he are vastly more morally corrupt than I will ever be.

And I guess obama is ok with killing and shooting teenage pirates but is on moral high ground by not using stress positions on them.

This is why you, mark, are such a known and obvious moron. Because you are too stupid to get it.

kmichaels   April 23rd, 2009 - 5:08 pm

The chinese waterboarded, and used guns, just like America waterboarded, and used guns. Well, maybe not just like, since after the chinese waterboarded (because this was known to keep the prisoner healthy and alive) they killed them, ususally with real torture. The time that they got to the real torture and killing was obviously when the chinese were done needing them to continue being able to talk.

The chinese also fed their prisoners, as did the Americans and the chinese also let the prisoners wear clothing, as did the Americans.

So you see, letting prisoners eat and wear clothes is obviously evil, using the lame leftist logic that you can find on this board.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   April 23rd, 2009 - 5:40 pm

Dear Airwick…I reference your comments about me referring to Saul Alinsky Obama as the first “Muslim” President.

I say that as a slam…a slam against his continually lying to the American people on a daily basis. He continually lied and said he was a Christian.

Even Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam proclaimed him the “Messiah” they were looking for.

Do you really think that a Muslim would ever declare a “Christian” their Messiah? Do you?

He lied about who he was, and if he would have told the truth, he would have never, ever been elected to the highest office in our land because that is yet another problemm we have to deal with in this “Christian” nation.

It took that BOWING DEEPLY before his Islamic King…Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to out him!

Just weeks before that BOW…Abdullah sentenced a 75 yr old woman to 40 lashes for having the audacity of having her nephew in her house after he brought her bread to eat.

A 75 yr old woman…America…could your grandmother at 75 yrs of age take 40 lashes? That, America, is Sharia Law…the law of the land in Saudi Arabia and our President BOWED DEEPLY to this Islamic pig!

But you know what I know there are honest upstanding Muslims, but where are they? Why are they not speaking up against the radicals in masse? Why don’t they speak up against the radicals in their midst? Why don’t they march against them in front of their mosques?

Why don’t they speak up like the American taxpayers in our country against what is going on in Washington!

Aren’t we all Americans? Yet we Americans are speaking up against those Americans who are destroying our country.

Why can’t the honest Muslims rail against the radicals and extremists in their faith?

When they start standing up against the radicals and extremists that have hijacked their faith, then maybe they won’t be put in the same barrel as the bad apples…and only then!

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 5:44 pm

KMichaels,
I am not sure I know where you were going with your comment. Your “logic” is so convoluted that I am not certain that I know what your point is.

The Nazis fed and clothed the people that they placed in concentration camps. They also gassed, shot, tortured, and did a lot of other nasty things to them. Just because they (and the Chinese Communists) did some proper things to those that they incarcerated doesn’t excuse subsequent vile behavior. Nor does it make feeding and clothing someone “obviously evil” by extension. These are obviously mutually exclusive acts. US officials (military and otherwise) properly feeding, clothing, interrogating, and incarcerating POW’s in MOST instances does NOT give us the right to brutalize them when we want in other cases. No matter how you dance around the issue, what was done was wrong and, perhaps worse, stupid. Whatever we gained from the exercise was more than made up for by what we lost in prestige and honor.

You keep referring to those who oppose your point of view as “liberal” as if that negates their arguments. I should remind you that John McCain is not a liberal and he strongly opposes it. There are plenty of us just to the right of center who think that we were ill served by a few misguided individuals who did something that sullied the honor of our country. A previous comment said that “AirWick and Larse hate Bush”. I do NOT hate Bush; I am very disappointed in what he allowed to happen during his watch.

Cheney is another matter…

Airwick…why do liberals consistently have to be so nasty with regards to those in the Bush administration. You all seem to be professional name callers. It’s a trait that got old about 6 years ago. Funny thing is you’re all so touchy when even the slightest hint of disagreement is pointed at your president. Of course I’m a racist because I didn’t vote for him, but oh well. According to J. Garafalo there are at least 48 million of us running around the U.S.

Marcus Luttrell is my hero. I have never read a more moving, honest, sad book in my life. The love he has for his country is amazing. I respect and admire him beyond words. He has been to hell and back and would do it all over if he had to because of that love. He puts this president to shame. BHO carries on the tradition of our last two democractic presidents who had no respect for our military.

For me, this quote says it all…..

A veteran – whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve – is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America”, for an amount of “up to, and including my life.”

That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Author unknown.

Sadly I think this author was speaking to most of those on the left!!

Airwick   April 23rd, 2009 - 8:44 pm

GiveMeLiberty,
If you read my earlier comment you will see that I have not called Mr. Bush any names. I said that I was disappointed in him on what I consider to be his lack of oversight in key issues. I do not have any affection at all for Mr. Cheney whom I consider to a flawed human being that has dishonored his country. Yet I have been consistently called names on this site like, “AirHead”, “AirHole, “A$$Lick”, and so forth simply because I hold a different view than some of the other people posting comments. I may add that rarely do these same people have anything intelligent to say about the topic being discussed.

Here is the punch line for you. I am a Republican. I voted for Mr. Nixon and still think that he was a fine president, his domestic transgressions aside. By opening up the Bamboo Curtain he fractured the Sino-Soviet alliance (which was always tenuous) and thereby laid the foundations for the collapse of the Iron Curtain as well. If the Soviet system was untenable, the break with China exacerbated it and put great pressure on the Russians. Afghanistan was probably an attempt by them to recover some of their Asian influence and we all know how that disaster ended. I voted for Mr. Reagan twice and still admire him (not worship like some, however), voted for Mr. Bush (Sr.), for Mr. Dole, and for Mr. Bush (W) ONCE. After Iraq I could not in good conscience vote for him again. I was and still am a huge admirer of John McCain whom I consider to be a great man and national hero. However, I feel his choice of Sarah Palin as VP was flawed and dangerous. She is, in my opinion, woefully inadequate for higher office at this time and it showed. Mr. Romney would have been a far better choice given his business background and the present state of the national economy. I am also a USMC veteran (1967-1971) of the Viet Nam War (1969-1970) and a Life Member of the NRA. I really don’t think that I am a Liberal.

However, I feel that this whole tawdry episode of waterboarding and torture is disgraceful and, perhaps more importantly, dangerous. The principles under which this nation was founded absolutely repudiates it! In our zeal to fight unprincipled, evil men we cannot allow ourselves to turn into them. We MUST be true to OUR values!

disrespected the military. They sent insufficient number of troops into Iraq, they had NO BODY ARMOUR or vehicles which would protect them from IEDs. They sent them to fight a war on LIES they knew were LIES, they had NO PLAN for what happens after major combat, they had NO EXIT PLAN.

Your comments aren’t worth commenting on. I know you’ll take that as I don’t know what I’m talking about or I have nothing to come back with. Think what you want….matters not at all to me. You and Jeanne enjoy your miserable lives….no one seems to deserve it more than you two.

I wonder how this enhanced interrogation techniques will sound like if these liberal democrats would be the target of the next terrorist attack….

Just call waterboarding as Underwater Contingency Plan….maybe they’d understand that.

Liberals: We do not torture…but we kill babies through abortion.

Hypocrites.

Have you adopted a baby born with AIDS, or addicted to crack or meth?
If not give your anti Choice speel to someone who CARES, you certainly don’t walk the walk.
Talking the talk is the EASY part.

OK Mr. Shepard Smith.

If any of your family members are ever about to be beheaded and the only thing that would stop it would be to “harshly interrogate” some terrorists….

Then I hope you feel comfortable just giving the terrorist a nice cup of tea and a freakin flower while your loved one’s head hits the floor.

Let’s see if you don’t think “f*****g” torture is sometimes necessary then.

I say bring on Jack Bauer and let him do whatever the he*l he wants to these bas-turds.

Obama. Worst excuse for a President in history. Take back our country now. Before it’s REALLY too late. March on. July 4th won’t come soon enough.

BY the time you waterboard someone 240 times (six times a day) your loved one’s head will have rolled WEEKS earlier.
If your rational argument to TORTURE is based on 24…wow that says EVERYTHING about your intellectual SKILLS.

what’s next, rationalizing segregation based on All in the Family re-runs?
How about anti-Choice rationale based on episodes of Eight is Enough?
